We didn't know it was two separate until the gentleman behind the counter asked which menu did we want to order from. We order 2 lunch specials; we were not pleased by the amount of protein we received, it was definitely less than 100 grams. The sauces were delicious and the rice portion was appropriate. The beef and lamb gyro is a must get at this place. The meat was really flavorful and well seasoned. It came in a pita encasing that was soft and held up the filling quiet well. The tzatziki sauce was just about enough without making the pita soggy, so that's a plus. The two sides I had included dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) and spicy potatoes. The dolmas were really good, tender and packed with a stuffing of rice. The spicy potatoes were a bit of a let down as they weren't crisp as I expected, and they weren't spicy enough for my taste. The gyro was decent. The cucumber sauce was refreshing on top as it was a hot day. The hummus was a bit too gritty and nutty. The Greek salad was disappointing because the dressing was flooding our plate. The spicy potatoes were okay, but it could have taken some more flavor. I have passed this place a million times before and never stopped. Today I decided to give them a try since I saw they are part of the Aadvantage dining program with American Airlines. Ordered food from here and I am nervous that it may make me sick. I got my order straight from the driver so it wasn't waiting out or anything. The food smelled a little off as soon as I opened it. It wasn't hot either, teetering on cold. The taziki is questionable at best. It resembled watery ranch and had slim to no taste. I ordered feta with my gyro and when I opened the container it was in, it smelled like it was somewhere far past expired. It wasn't normal feta either, it felt a bit like mozzarella. I skipped adding it to my meal in fear that it might make me ill. To say that it threw me off is an understatement, I was nervous to eat the gyro even without the feta. I searched for a Greek restaurant that I could dine in at. After calling several locations I decided on Gyro Oasis. When you walk in it is nothing special, just a no frills place to eat. The menu looked pretty standard so I thought I would try a Gyro. If they can get that right then I would be more open to exploring the menu. The Gyro was packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The meat was fresh and sizzling in the pita. The pita was just the right amount of chewy and crispy all at the same time, as if they were on a see saw together. Dear Mediterranean food lovers, I have really bad experience about this place. I have ordered 10 chicken kababs to go and spent almost $80 and given tips. I didn't checked the package when she delivered as a to go packet. When I get home I was really got upset, it was just marinated chicken pieces, not the kababs, maximum $10 value. I called the restaurant, and the lady said this is what we serve as kabab. Please see the image attached, how she is cheating the public. I will definitely share all other websites. It takes a lot for a restaurant to get 5 stars. They have to go over the top. This place came close. The chicken gyro was good, the tabouleh was fresh and tart, and the dolmas were good. My husband had the beef kabob plate, and it was equally good. We also got two pieces of baklava, which were slightly dry but very tasty. Gyro Oasis was a place I hadn't tried yet for delivery through UberEats and I was in the mood for something new. I went with a lamb kebab wrap for $7.99, a side of rice for $1.99 and walnut baklava for $1.99. Delivery time was very reasonable and the food was okay. The baklava was a bit dry (a common issue at many places and not necessarily unexpected for the price) but it had good flavor. The rice was a good portion for the price and well cooked, but it was a little bland, I wish it had more flavor. The kebab wrap was okay, more veggies than meat, but I can't get past the fact that there were pickles in there. Pickles?? Yes, pickles from a jar and a lot of them, it didn't fit with the flavor profile and was confusing. The tzatziki sauce I was expecting wasn't what I got. It had a brownish tint and tasted really strange and unappetizing. Maybe something else got put in with my delivery order by mistake because I've never tasted a tzatziki like that. I'm just glad it was on the side. I feel for the fast food variety, what I got was pretty fair to be honest. Not great, not awful. A little strange, not the expected flavor, but definitely edible. I won't rush to try them again and I would order something different if I did. I was looking for lunch the other day while traveling east on 635 and pulled off at N Belt Line Rd because I saw the familiar McDonald's sign. Missed the entrance into McD's when I saw the sign for GyroOasis so I peeled over to investigate the options. Boy, was I glad I saw the sign, I had the best gyro I have had in years, the meat was tender & extremely tastey with the cucumber sauce not smothering the meat. Did I mention I really like this place? My only note would be that they should label the assorted baklava because I had only a small idea of the varieties that were offered (they were all great). Good tasting food but the staff is either not focused or lazy. I was the only person in the place when I ordered a Gyro sandwich. The guy that came in behind me was being take care of first. He was ordering a bowl and they kept telling him everything he wanted on it cost extra. Ordered through Foodsby at work. The first time I ordered, the food was good (got a Gyro Sub). Today, I ordered a Turkey sub. When I got the sub, it was shocking. Like 4 pieces of thinly sliced turkey on a 6 inch warmed roll with lettuce, tomatoes and onions hiding the fact there was no meat. I also ordered their Spicy Potatoes and it was cold and tasted half done. I called the restaurant to ask if that is suppose to be like that and was told Yes, they put 4 pieces of turkey on the Sub and the Potatoes are suppose to be hot (but I can tell you they are not. [looks like potato chips for lunch for me]). I had to hang up the phone because I got the feeling that I was going to get the spill "you get what you paid for". But for a $4.99 sandwich, I expected more than 4 pieces of turkey. I will eat the sandwich and take the potatoes home, but I will be looking at other gyro places for now. read more

Very disappointing. I got a falafel wrap with a side of greek salad and spicy potatoes. The falafels were bland and stale-tasting. The "greek" salad was shredded lettuce (the same kind on the wrap) with a few little pieces of raw onion and a few little pieces of tomato and literally two olives.
