Trio of hummus, falafel, and grape leaves

I felt a little as if we were an inconvenience when we stopped by for lunch the other day. The lady running the place became friendlier the longer we stayed, but we felt a little unwelcome during our visit. The lunch prices were okay and the food was good, with decent-sized portions. The falafel was nice and crispy and the pita bread was excellent! The yogurt sauce was unusual to me, with strips of cucumber in it (it almost looked like cole slaw), but was very flavorful. My complaint is that they are not serving sit-down customers with an earth-friendly approach. While I expect disposable (recyclable) to-go containers, it would have been nice to be served on real plates with real silverware. Instead, our food was served on styrofoam plates with plastic silverware, and dressings and sauces in those little disposable cups with lids. If I had know of this wasteful practice in this restaurant ahead of time, we would not have eaten here. I'm not expecting anything fancy, just something that can be reused by the restaurant. All-in-all... FOOD: very good CUSTOMER SERVICE: could have been friendlier EARTH-FRIENDLINESS: needs improvement

Got very pricey for a basic Gyro and they don't even use Lamb . A Gyro is Lamb and Beef , not pure beef . Sorry not that great .

5 stars for the food. 1 for customer service. 2 ladies not friendly, barely acknowledge people when they walk in.

Wow, we were seriously impressed. Parking was easy with plenty of space, the diner itself was spotless, and the interior was bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, and we were seated right away with no wait. Edgar took care of us and was fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming (and yes, "took care of us" feels more accurate than "waited on us"). We started with two soups: beef barley and lentil. Both were absolutely delicious, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Of course, I had to try the mozzarella sticks, and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, and the marinara sauce was thick, tasty, and not watery at all. For our entrees, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak melt and a beef/gyro panini. The portions were generous, and the flavor was even better than expected. Even when we were full halfway through, we still wanted to keep eating because they were just that good. We couldn't leave without dessert after walking past the display on the way in which showed so many options. We went with the chocolate layer cake, and holy moly. The slice was massive (looked like half a cake) and absolutely amazing. We couldn't finish it, probably should've skipped the fries , but it was hands down one of the best cakes we've had in a long time. Overall, an excellent diner experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and will likely become regulars. It's that good.

It did take the owner some time to make all the gyros for four of us, but the turnout was so delicious! The homemade hummus is so smooth and tasty. It melts instantly in my mouth. The lamb gyro I got was such a great portion, I wasn't hungry until late night. The amount of ingredients in the gyro besides the lamb, cucumbers, olives, and celeries, makes it incredibly flavorful. Highly recommend!

Nothing felt heavy or over-processed, just clean, nourishing food that actually makes you feel good after eating. What really stood out, though, was the owner's genuine care for customers. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying everything and even offered us a taste of his freshly made soup -- which was amazing and such a thoughtful touch. We ordered both the falafel platter and the chicken souvlaki platter, and both delivered. The chicken souvlaki was perfectly cooked with a great grilled char that added nice flavor without drying it out. Comes with Greek salad, fries or rice. Rice was cooked nicely and the fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and herbs (oregano). The Greek salad was assembled closer to an authentic Greek salad. Fresh ingredients and none of the ridiculous leafy greens, and no black olives here! Rough chop with the right stuff; cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, green bell peppers, kalamata olives and feta cheese. My only critique on the salad was that it was crumbled feta and not the traditional block feta with drizzled, extra-virgin olive oil and oregano. Still better than most out there. Service was just fine--nothing over the top, but efficient and friendly enough to keep things moving smoothly. Overall, Twisted Greek is a good choice if you're in the area and craving flavorful, well-prepared fast Greek food whether you're dining in briefly or grabbing something to go.
