Yum, yum, yum! I love the gyro shack. I always order the deluxe gyro with a side of hummus and pita. The meat is juicy and fresh with little bits of crisp around the edges and tzatziki, tomatoes, onions & feta crown this delicious sandwich. Their hummus tastes homemade and they give you a ton of it! Seriously, bring some carrots or extra pita chips because you will have leftover hummus! The service is great, I've been a ton and they are always super polite and efficient, even when it's busy. Great, attentive and quick service from the employees. Food is alright - exactly what you'd expect from a gyro shack. I couldn't help but notice the "sorry we are experiencing extreme staffing shortages" sign on the drive thru window, and when I asked the employee how much they are paid, he said they are paid minimum wage ($7.50). Shame on the owner of this establishment for failing to pay their employees anything close to a living wage. No wonder you are experiencing a staffing shortage!!! I have worked in countless fast food and restaurant kitchens and it is absolutely not a job that is worth 7.50 an hour. I told the employees working to come get a job at the restaurant I work at washing dishes for double the pay. Ridiculous!!! read more

I went there on April 12 th and ordered a salad a bowl and a side of hummus and pita.. I never got the hummus and pita. I called and the manager said i couldn't just be refunded the money I could come back and get it but I was on my way out of town and didn't have time to backtrack . She said I would get an email from the corporate office for a gift card or some kind of refund since I couldn't come back to get the food. And that never happened. OK we need to talk about how good these gyros are. They taste as good as the ones I've had in reputable Little Athens-es around the continent! The one thing that irritates me in fast food are bad tomatoes. This place uses legit tomatoes. I have been to this drive-thru restaurant a couple of times and I've always had excellent service. But today was exceptional so I had to post my review. The manager was super nice and the food is very delicious. We got a Greek salad with chicken on top and it is by far The tastiest salad you can get at a drive-thru. The gyro that we ordered was also very hearty, they don't hold back on the food. I recommend the green sauce for your Gyro. Totally worth your money! read more

First time a the Gyro Shack. My husband and I both had the deluxe Gryo. I had mine in a combo with Hummus and pita. The gyros were awesome. I usually go to Mazzah Mediterranean for my cravings, but I think the gyros here are better. I just wish the Hummus was a bit more seasoned. We will definitely be coming again. Wow I haven't had bad food in a long time. It was all very bland. The meat was quite dry like it's been sitting out for a day. My gyro was all mushed like someone mushed all the ingredients into a burrito. Super sloppy. I paid an extra dollar to try the greek style french fries which only reflected a pinch of feta cheese on the top of the fries in a cup.. the dollar was a rip off and the fries were cold like they didn't get fried or baked. It felt like I was eating partially uncooked fries from a frozen bag i've gotten at the store. This meal wasn't cheap(as their menu) but the quality was very poor. I honestly couldn't finish it and I finish all my food even if it's not great just to get my money's worth and not waste but this was just too much to try and finish... my grandma had a few bites of her food and quickly said it tasted weird and not good.. Save yourself the time and money go somewhere else. I've fallen in love with Sophia's Greek Bistro less then 2miles of state at. this place is where it's at! I was originally trying to order from Sophias but made the mistake of ordering from this place. Lesson learned read more

I craved a gyro & saw this calling my name. I wanted the original, & noticed how super affordable it was. Added a Greek salad (crispy fresh veggies with sprinkles of feta), & a raspberry lemonade. The gyro is lamb & beef with perfect crunch. I'm a sucker for tzaziki sauce. Omg it was good. Flavorful, & full of meat..I loved it. Best Greek food in town. Quik and easy to grab and go. I have had the spicy bacon avacado and it is always dripping with goodness. I am so happy this place is right down the street from where we live. My hubby gets the Philly and that has so much filling in the sandwhich that its hard to keep from getting all over. We love this place. I have had the hummis and pita on the side which was a great choice over chips. The backlava was the only thing I was not a huge fan of but it could have just been a bad batch. Finally stopped by on my way home last night and glad I did. They have a thorough but not too huge menu of gyros. I had the Delux Gyro and house salad. Loads of good food. They meat was plentiful and hearty. The pita was just perfect--soft but not so squishy that it fell apart. Don't expect fries with your sandwich--the owner (?) is proud to say that they don't offer anything that had to be cooked in oil. read more
