    Veggie Kabob Bowl
    Andrew G.

The food was fantastic I got a veggie kabob rice bowl and it was delicious. My whole family enjoyed their meals. I feel it was a great value for what we got too.

Falafel wrap, traditional style. With tahini and hot sauce!

The food was SO GOOD, and this is coming from someone who grew up near Dearborn and has visited the Middle East. The homemade hot sauce is fantastic! The staff was also extremely kind and helpful, and ensured my meal was prepared in a vegan manner. Note: the gyro style falafel wrap has cheese, but the traditional style is vegan.

Every time I get Mazzah, everything is fresh, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, rice is fresh the pita bread is warm 10/10

Very disappointing! I ordered the bowl and loaded it with all kind of extras to sample everything, only to be repeatedly disappointed. The rice was flavorless, the shawarma meat bland, the kofta skewers plasticky, the pita bread definitely poor grocery store grade, not house made, the only part of the meal that was acceptable was the hummus and falafel. I tried every middle eastern restaurant in town, and this one is by far the worst, as for Lebanese food, I'm not sure it even qualifies.

Bit of a joke- ordered delivery via Uber eats, got 5 pieces of "side of fries". They took the side a bit too seriously. You deny me my fries is ID, such blasphemy. Maybe is was 4.5 pieces, anyways my waistline sends you regards. Rest was a big whooping meh, so I'll see you in 2123.

However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!

The portion was so large I had half for lunch and am saving the rest for dinner. The rice with the grilled onions was so flavorful. Tonight our basket of fries, $6, was woefully under cooked and under seasoned. The two rice bowls, lamb ($23.99) and gyro ($16 or $17.99), were just bad. The rice was at least two days old and pasty, and had no lemon flavor. It shrunk away from the walls of the container as though it were dessicated. The gyro meat was in small shreds, as though the cook were trying to make the meat go further and the amount of gyro and lamb meat was at least 1/3 of what it used to be. Tomatoes used to be cut in wedges were now inconsistent, thin slices. And the onions weren't sliced anymore but diced small and dropped in a small patch of the tray. The BFG was f8ne, but for the increased price, should have been better. As one who has been to Greece twice, I did used to enjoy a "taste of Athens" regularly, but the consistency issues are too much for a to-go order topping $77 with tip.

I wanted something quick that wasn't a burger or taco so I decided to give this joint another shot. I have actually been here twice in a row. I was here yesterday as well. I remember I got a side Greek salad with my gyro one time and that's honestly what I wanted. It sounded like a clean and light lunch in this crazy summer heat. I placed my order at the drive thru. Both times I was helped by some nice employees. I appreciate that they didn't make me feel like I needed to order more than I wanted. They both got my side salad ordered and I drove up to the window. Both times I was rang up and was given my bag with a great smile. I got my goods and was on my way to work. The Greek salad is so good. I love the freshness of all the veggies. The feta and kalamata olives are my favorite part. The dressing that comes with it is light even though it's olive oil based. One side isn't enough, I'll have to grab two the next time I grab another salad. I'm happy I have this joint another shot. They are conveniently on my way to and from work. It's a healthy and quick lunch. I look forward to my many salads in my future from this joint. It's my new summer fixation meal.
