Cute little drive-thru gyro "shack" across from Park Place Mall. I got the #1 gyro (just the entree), seemed a little pricey at $10 for drive-thru. There was a good amount of meat, the bread was soft and tasty, there wasn't much veggies and the sauce was pretty watery.

This is a drive thru and w add walk up eatery. They have an amazing variety of gyros. I like to go back and try the different types. I always seem to go back to the original. Service is quick.

The establishment lives up to its name. If you are looking for a place to eat and sit, you will be disappointed. There is a drive-through and a window to walk up and order food. Having a few outdoor tables would serve them well and make it more inviting. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch and the Philly gyro with Greek fries. All the food was tasty. I enjoyed the variety of different gyros that are available. I recommend giving them a try.

Love going here! They really stuff their pitas and their gyro meat and tzatziki are both SO GOOD!

I was very excited to try Gyro Shack on its grand opening today and it did not disappoint. This is a takeout-only spot, so you can either drive thru or order at the walk-up window. I had the deluxe gyro (meat, lettuce, tomato, tzatziki and feta) and the Greek fries, which are crinkle fries topped with seasoning and feta. Both were flavorful and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and excited to receive feedback about the food. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other gyro options, which can all be prepared in salad form. Nice, new addition to Tucson's restaurant scene.

Located across the way from Tucson's Park Place Mall. On a pinch, went through the drive-thru. Ordered the salad and rice bowl version of the Z gyro. It wasn't bad. Plain Jane version of gyros. Service was slow for being the only one in the drive thru lane.

food was good. I ordered the Z gyro, Gyro meat, Tzatziki sauce, grilled onion, pepperoncini, feta & spicy sauce. i got the green sauce on the recommend of cashier. Staff was nice, service was quickin drive thru. My only bummer was $11.46 for an $8 gyro. No fries. no drink. no sides. no beverage. Yes i know prices are going up etc. just not wanting to go back bc cost. Go once.

Original Gyro and and Original Gyro salad.

One of those pop up menus is an Indian street food menu that is fully vegetarian and also egg free (Indian pure vegetarian.) My husband and I went a couple times, once in May 2025 and once in Feb 2026 and it was delicious and beautifully plated. My review for the food itself is 5 stars. During those two visits we tried: (May 2025) -Pani Puri: Fresh and delicious and I recommend ordering it spicy if you eat spicy. -Samosa Chaat : This was a 5 star dish for me! It was the best samosa I have ever had with the most delicious toppings and condiments. We asked for yogurt on the side, I'd totally get that again. My second favorite dish here! -Dabeli: This was a 5 star dish for me! It was a perfectly balanced work of art with the delicious filling and bun and the pomegranate and peanuts on top. Super fresh and so so delicious. I would absolutely return just for that- my favorite dish here!! (Feb, 2026) -Sev Puri: This was good. the fried potato on the cracker was fresh and I really liked the sauce mix on it with tamarind. It reminded me a little bit of the filling in Trinidadian doubles. We asked for yogurt on the side. -Pav Bhaaji: This was good but my least favorite dish here. I think probably just because of how amazing the others are though. This one also contains clarified butter which I don't typically eat. I liked it with the lime and raw onions added to the curry. -Vada Pav : This was my favorite from today's dishes! I loved the perfectly fried spicy green chili pepper in it. I wish I didn't eat that whole chilli pepper in one bite because I wanted more when it was gone. My husband experienced it the same way. He also noted how fluffy the potato was inside like mashed potato. This was perfect for sharing since there were two. This dish is native to Maharashtra. - Aloo tiki chaat : This was good. the fried potato patty reminded me a tad of a potato latke. Toppings were good and included mint. We asked for yogurt on the side Both times we sat on the patio and enjoyed a relaxed dinner. When we came in May they were very nice to check if we were happy with spice level or wanted more spice and talked to us about the food. They seemed passionate about it and It made for a really fun and interesting experience. When we came in February, we had less engagement with staff. A couple things I would like to note: 1. They add a service fee of 10% on bills without notifying the costumer. The first time I went, since they didn't notify me of that before I paid or gave me a detailed bill, I left a tip over that total amount that already included 10%. I do think it should be communicated to customers in advance. When I realized this and pointed it out to them they did refund it. The second time I remembered there was a fee but I noticed it was still not communicated to me a head of ordering. I don't appreciate that business practice of hidden fees and that is the reason I lowered to 4 stars. The food itself is 5 stars for me. 2. I would not recommend their pop ups for people with severe allergies. I was hoping and still hope they eventually transition the restaurant to Indian or add a regular Indian menu. Especially since there is only one restaurant in the Tucson area that serve south indian food (Spice Garden Indian Cuisine in Marana) . I have yet to try the mediterranean food here aside from a complimentary baklava in May which was not my favorite. Sounds like the two current owners bought the business sometimes around January 2025 and I am curious (and really hope ) to see the Indian dishes become a more regular part of the menu on a daily basis. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

I was so excited because every restaurant I've tried through his recommendations has been fantastic. We were invited to enjoy a complimentary buffet they were hosting, which was such an unexpected treat. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful outdoor patio--perfect if you want to enjoy your meal in the fresh air. Inside, the restaurant felt welcoming, and the staff immediately made us feel at home. The owner, Ray, was there greeting guests and genuinely seemed excited to have everyone visiting. Once we got the go-ahead to check out the buffet, our eyes lit up. Everything looked incredible! Since this was our first visit, we weren't sure what to expect, but the presentation alone had us excited to dig in. (Just a note: this buffet was for a special event, so I'm not sure if it's offered during normal business hours.) We started with a fresh Mediterranean salad tossed in a bright lemon dressing that was absolutely delicious--although I may be a little biased because I can never resist a great salad! We also tried the hummus and baba ghanoush with crispy fried pita chips. Both dips were smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. Next came the beef, lamb, and chicken shawarma. Each one had perfectly crisp edges while staying incredibly juicy and flavorful inside. We paired them with the tahini sauce, which added the perfect fresh finish. My absolute favorite parts of the meal were the pickled vegetables and the falafel. I already love pickled foods, but these were exceptional--not overly vinegary, just perfectly balanced with a fresh, tangy crunch. The real star of the meal, though, was the falafel. Honestly, I'm usually not the biggest falafel fan, but Med Cuisine completely changed my mind. We dipped it in their incredible garlic sauce (I believe it's called toum), and it was the perfect combination. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, and bursting with flavor. I completely understand why it disappeared so quickly--I only wish I'd gone back for seconds before it was gone! We had such a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back. Next time, we're definitely saving room for dessert. Do yourself a favor and stop by Med Cuisine. Support this wonderful local business, enjoy some incredible Mediterranean food, and if you're lucky, you'll get the chance to meet Ray, whose hospitality makes the experience even more memorable. P.S. Please don't judge my plate in the photos--I served it myself! I'm sure the staff would have plated it much more beautifully than I did.

I got my usual vegetarian mezza so I can try it all. Ambiance: okay, a bit outdated. We were the only customers. I was thrown off getting water in plastic cups- instead of a glass. Service- okay. Minimal contact. Food: the bread threw me off as it was served in a plastic bag. It was odd. The dolmas has no flavor except for the grape leaf. The rice appeared to be only white rice and no spices? The lettuce/small salad was not edible. Not dressed and old lettuce. I got 2 cucumber slices to eat two dips- not enough. And used to getting a more tomato. The falafel was okay. The bread tasted old. I'm used to good Lebanese food and this missed the mark. I'm surprised by the reviews. The hummus and baba ganoush was 3/5. My husband had a spicy Lebanese sandwich, he said it was good. And the fries were soggy and greasy. With so many levant places, I won't be going here again. I guess I prefer the Iraqi, Syrian, and Turkish places in Tucson.

It was so old I could not get on the table and it sounded like I was tapping a piece of plastic..
