Top: chicken and koobideh platter. Bottom: classic gyro and fries. Meal comes with a drink. $40 and well worth every penny!

Food: 100/10. For freshness, consistency and flavor! You want a meal that will stick to your bones, satisfy you and is yummy like your grandmother made it? This is where you want to be. Order the chicken kebab and koobideh with rice and salad platter and you won't be hungry for a day..lol! I ordered a classic gyro with fries and a drink and they packed it with so much meat. I like that the pita isn't thick so you're really getting full from the amount of meat per serving. Service: 100/10 always with a smile. As we sat enjoying our lunch a young gentleman came in to ask for water and the lady gave him a cup and directed him to where the dispenser was. She could have watched to make sure he didn't get soda instead but she didn't. She trusted his word. No profiling..no being a helicopter...just being a decent human being and meeting a need. Ambiance: 10/10 always clean. Music a pleasant and at a comfortable level. I will always plan my trips to and through Turlock around visiting this place. Besides there's a Wetzel Pretzel next door so you can grab a dessert of churro mini bites with a side of caramel or take some to go for your boys and be the best mama in the world for 2 mins...lol!

Super Gyro, with extra meat and Fries...I couldn't wait for the picture...Yummm

I went to visit my mom in Los Banos today, when heading home down Hwy 99, I took a slight detour to on of my favorite Mediterranean locations. I absolutely love eating at Gyros & More. I always get the super gyro with extra meat and fries. This place only uses the best ingredients. I spoke with the owner and he shared that he makes his tzatziki sauce fresh every day. He also said that he special orders their spiced meat which is delicious! The service is always great and the food fantastic. As for the ambiance, it is simple and unassuming. One might think it's just another outside mall eatery. But don't be fooled, pass on all the fast food chains in the area and make a direct b-line to this place. You will not be disappointed!! I couldn't even wait to take a picture. I had it half eaten before I realized it would be helpful if you you could see the quality and quantity of this fantastic gyro!

The food was mediocre, service was not good at all, and I hate how they nickel and dime you. I ordered a full dinner meal for $22. It had two skewers rice and salad. I was sitting right next to the cash register and I am a disabled senior using a walker. It was very difficult to stand up. Nobody else was in the restaurant. The guy told me I had to stand up in front of the counter to order my food. he couldn't help me, but there was no one there. I was right next to him. I was probably 3 feet away. I ordered my food a chicken skewer a Lula kebab with rice and salad. Again $22. $3.50 for a drink that was horrible cause that was not Pepsi they're using a generic syrup. The chicken was good, but it was very dry. The Lula kebab was good and juicy. The rice was undercooked. It was crunchy in the middle. With the dry chicken in the rice, I thought I would get a little bit of tzatziki sauce and a pita. But no! I had to pay on top of the $22 dinner. They will not give you a pita you have to pay an extra $2.50 for a pita. Then if you want tzatziki sauce you have to buy the appetizer for six dollars. I asked for a small amount of tzatziki sauce with a small pita to go with my expensive dinner, but no, he said no I have to pay extra. So my lunch was over $45. Then he wanted a tip! I'm right next to him. He can't help me by just taking my card and he wants a tip? I'm very disappointed on how they nickel and dime you. I'm very disappointed in the customer service and I'm very disappointed that when you buy an expensive dinner meal full meal, you don't even get a little bit of tzatziki sauce and a pita. Every other Mediterranean restaurant in Turlock gives you a pita when you buy the large meal. They also give you a little bit of sauce. Highly disappointed and I do not recommend them.

They were incredibly gracious, welcoming, and organized, which immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal--perfectly cooked kabobs that were flavorful, tender, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. It was the kind of meal where everyone at the table was talking about how good their plate was, which says a lot when you're serving a group that size. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, making sure everyone was taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Hosting 30 people is no small task, but they handled it seamlessly and with genuine warmth. Amazing food, amazing service, and exceptional hospitality. If you're looking for a place that delivers incredible kabobs and truly knows how to take care of their guests--whether it's a small meal or a large gathering--this spot deserves your highest recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

Don't even think about it...DO IT!!!…read more 1000% worth it, no other food place will stand up against this one. My wife was like "yeah it's really good" Nah baby it's flipping amazing. I'd be a spokesperson for this place, I'll take my salary in free bowls and shares, work open to close. The food was absolutely amazing, every single bite was heavenly. All the flavors, textures, spices. My god I love this place. This is like the infinity gauntlet of Mediterranean food. Took Subway, Chipotle, Jersey Mikes, Togos, Poke Bowls, etc and made this food demi-god! The lady who took our order was amazing, she was patient and thoughtful she let us try samples and she knew exactly how to fill up the bowls, 100% customer satisfaction and excellent service experience. Interior has Stan State banners, is clean and well kept. Food stations are sanitary and polished. Definitely a classy little joint with amazing food. Did I mention how much I love this place, because God I love this place. Only downside was 2 bowls fully packed, with two fountain drinks, and a 15% tip was $50, but so worth it.

She has gluten free requirements and they had great menu choices for her and offer gluten free serving practices as well. I had a bowl and chose couscous and rice, fresh spinach, lemon chicken and falafel as my protein. I added veggies and all the extras like artichoke hearts...feta etc. I had tahini and tzatziki sauce. My bowl was about $16. They also have pita and wraps which are less expensive. My bowl was huge. It was so delicious and will definitely be two full meals. I love that this is a healthy place to eat but doesn't sacrifice taste at all. The staff was very welcoming and helped me choose what I wanted without being pushy at all. The restaurant is very clean. I have to say the review that raved about Hummus Republic was very accurate. See you again soon, thank you.
