The quality of the ingredients seemed good and fresh, but I was a little surprised with some of their preparation methods. I got falafel rice bowl and eggplant hummus with pita chips. The pita chips were fried in the deep fryer, which I found really unpalatable. They had the same taste as the outside of the falafel, not pleasant. I wish they didn't drop the hot falafel onto spring mix as it way wilted the greens. Lastly, I ordered tzatziki and received yogurt with dill, no cucumbers or garlic. They do appear to be transitioning to compostable food containers, which is appreciated. read more

Girl was nice helping but it took 25 minutes to get my food. Couscous was dry and the meats but she did make the shawarma fresh. I thought they only had what was out there for the salads so I got spinich and kale and then she brought out green salad for others hmm . The inside is spacious and airy with lots of wood accents. You basically go down the cafeteria line and let the worker know what you want. I ordered: - Bowl with couscous, spinach, chicken shawarma, and all the fixings - this bowl is HUGE by the way. Easily fed me for 3 separate meals. The amount of protein is just enough and I highly recommend the zesty feta and harissa hummus spreads - Street style sweet potato fries - this could have been a skip for me, but it comes with about 10 pieces of waffle-cut sweet potato fries over a bed of kale. It is then topped with sauces of your choice and some other fried toppings (eggplant, Kalamata olives, jalapenos) - Tahini shake - I wish I drank this fresh, but it melted on the way home. It still tasted really good, with hints of date and sesame. I couldn't really taste chocolate though, but it only made me think I was being healthy LOL Service was pretty good. Maybe it was just me, but I did have to repeat myself multiple times while making my order as the worker couldn't hear me. No greeting upon entering the store or walking up to order. And they don't ask if you've been there before. They just stare at you until you tell them what you want to order. The meat can be quite dry sometimes. I can't tell if it's from overcooking it when they prepared it, or if it's due to the fact that it's been sitting in the warmers for some time. Luckily the seasoning and sauces help the meat when it's in the drier side. Another note concerning the food, the fried food seems to cost extra. However, I have been coming here for some time and they've never charged me. Then all of a sudden I came here to order food this week, and when I asked for fried onions, the gentleman working whisper tho the employee making my food " that's extra". But neither of them mentioned it to my face. How bizarre. They simply could've said something along the lines of " the fried toppings do cost extra, but would you like any?" The cost of the food is decent for the area, but sometimes it feels as if they are skimping on the portions. The flavor is on point about 7/10 times. I recommend to not be shy which the sauces as it definitely adds more flavor to the dish. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try and seeing how you like it. Was in Turlock and decided to eat Mediterranean/Greek food. 'Hot and new' according to Yelp. Restaurant was clean and had decent decor. Employees were prompt and efficient. The food was just okay. The pita bread was good overall, but a bit too doughy for my liking. One of us had a chicken pita and the other a beef pita. The chicken was seasoned well as was the beef. This place is setup 'Chipotle/Subway' style..you go through the line and select items. Both the chicken and beef were cold and didn't look freshly made. The garbanzo beans they use had no-taste either. Their spicy hummus was good though. I won't be back as I believe there are better options. read more

The ingredients are fresh and portions are very generous. Tasted amazing. I tried the traditional and the eggplant hummus. Tried the garlic Jalapeno Tahini sauce, the Tzatziki, lemon and olive dressings and loved them. The jalapeno dressing was definitely medium if you don't do spicy. One of the best restaurants I have ever been. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We came in for vegan options and they knew what to recommend or steer clear of (dairy/meat/etc) and the hospitality was so sweet.
