The first time food is excellent. I recommend the chicken plate fajita was a very very good. The service is great I be back.

I walked in the store expecting to pick up my order after 20 minutes of waiting and was met by rude staff. I was actually thinking about refunding my order and going somewhere else but they handed me the food a few minutes after the interaction. The store was very busy and it was clear they were upset and annoyed because the two people working were speaking to each other in an aggressive manner. I think their food is alright but don't expect exceptional service when the store is a little busy. I personally will not be returning. read more

The staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the Gyro that I had. I added siracha to my sandwich to make it spicy. The fries were dropped fresh but there was nothing special about them. They were not crispy but rather soggy. I did not like the mango tea. It had a metallic taste to it. I'm thinking it's the water that may not be filtered. I poured the drink out at home. My biggest concern about the place is how unkempt the food prep and cooking area is. It was absolutely filthy. I was concerned that I would get food poisoning while my food was being made. I knew I shouldn't have got a hamburger ate a gyro place.It was some unseasoned frozen patties at least it was a good portion and the fries were good. We also got the chicken gyro and fries. There was the strong sour cream that made me almost gag but my girlfriend like it but said she has for sure had better. Okay so food flavor and function is a 4. Classic gyros, inexpensive, good veggies, good taziki sauce, and meat is great. I ordered gyro plate, philly cheese steak (needed more cheese), and falafel plate. Now cleanliness. This place had a lot of potential when it comes to their food, but damn the cleanliness. He didn't change his gloves when I walked in - HE WASHED HIS HANDS WITH THEM ON. I almost walked out but thought whatever I'm starving and I don't feel like making dinner. He also didn't wear a mask - even though I walked in wearing mine. If his habits were cleaner I would give it 5 stars. The area is getting nicer, so I hope this restaurants steps up. When I started going to this spot about a year ago it was pretty decent. But I had the worst experience just recently there was a giant strand of hair in my salad. When I'm working I usually go here for lunch because Madison is a desert when it comes to food choices. Lol But yeah that was the last straw for me. read more

I would advise against ordering from this place. We placed an order last night at 7.34pm and by 9pm it still had not arrived so I called the restaurant. They told me the food would be leaving in the next 5 mins. 30 mins later nothing had turned up so I called back. They said they would call the driver and call me back. They did not call me back so I called for the 3rd time (now more than 2 hours since we placed the order) and said we just wanted to cancel and get a refund. They said they could not give a refund and I needed to call menustar. At 10.40 the delivery turned up which was more than 3 hours after we placed the order Tried to call menustar and the phone is always engaged... sent them an email and waiting on a reply to see if we can get our money back. read more

Very very inconsistent. One day you'll recive your delivery in 20 minutes and the next order will not be there 2 hours later. Calling the restaurant results in "it just left the store, be there in 5 minutes" with them hanging up on you. Luckily GrubHub refunded me for them taking my order and not delivering anything. read more

I was just looking for something other than the overpriced Gaylord Opry Hotel offerings but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Gyros King's food. I'm going to do this again, I suspect the restaurant staff complained to Yelp and it was deleted. So here it is again, with more detail. After waiting almost 2 hrs for our food and calling this restaurant three times, what we got was a crazy, inedible mess, all the boxes were open, dripping, food falling everywhere. So let me know thanks for your business" To which I responded: "This is what happened: I ordered through Order Up, the food took 1:50 min to arrive. We called a couple of times, very politely. You lied and said that the food was going to arrive any minute, and after that you unhooked the phone. The food was terrible looking, the boxes were open and spilled everywhere. I mean, it was really bad, and we are very tolerant people- we even took pictures. Called again to see if you would rectify it but guess what? the phone was still conveniently unhooked. I complained to Order up and you refused to acknowledge wrongdoing and proceeded to refuse a refund. Now, how happy should I be with you? You might've had a bad driver. Well, life happens, but your management of the situation leaves much to be desired." The response: Nothing. Zilch. Only the sound of crickets in the distance. OMG! This place deserves every word possible to describe delicious food. I got the gyro plate and it did not disappoint. That was some of the freshest food I've eaten in a while. The pita bread was so soft and delicious and their homemade cucumber sauce was just plain ole addictive. The guy who delivered the food and took the order was really nice too. All tasty, the only negative is my gyro meat was more like ground beef in texture as opposed to nice shaved slices as in some of the pictures. All in all, I would order again. read more
