TOGO 13. Chicken Plate with Greek Salad and Tzatziki Sauce

Chicken and rice were delicious. Pita was nice and soft and the salad was satisfying. I give the overall plate a 7/10.

Not very familiar with this area. I stumbled into this restaurant and have it a try. Wow... food was incredible and fresh. Their prices are so reasonable. What a great find!

I got to say the food is great here they were able to deliver to the nearby loves truckstop because I'm a truck driver and it's hard to find good food most truckstops have crappy food Thank you for this app

A cockroach in the soggy, cold delivery. I feel so nauseated. This is the worst possible experience with a restaurant.

The pita is very soft, and the chicken is always juicy. I've also tried the loaded fries with chicken, and they were extremely delicious as well. The service is fast. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating although I usually opt for a DoorDash or to-go order.

However, my most recent experience was truly unique. I ordered frozen yogurt online and when I got into pick it up, I was told they were cleaning the machine and it would be about 10 minutes. I mentioned I was parked in a loading zone and they offered me the QR code for parking. This was a nice gesture but didn't work. I went back to my car and waited 13 minutes. When I came back it still wasn't ready. 12 more minutes go by and at this point I've been waiting close to a half hour. I'm annoyed to say the least. I asked to be refunded and I'm told they can't find my order. I have to pull up the online receipt only adding to my frustration. I waited 25 minutes, had to almost fight for a refund that frankly I should've been given anyway for waiting that long and I left without what I ordered. Severely disappointing. The thing that gets me is it's 99 degrees outside. Why would you pick the middle of the work day to drain the froyo machine? I've worked at a place with these exact machines and as long as you keep an eye on the mix, you never run into this problem.

The waitress was lack luster in personality, we sat down asked for hummus and the young guy with long hair on staff said they didn't have change for a $20 so a 7.99 hummus turned into a 20 dollar bill when he never brought back the $5 my friend said just to bring back as a tip. Then my mom's hummus lamb plate had a clump of hair in the hummus. The staff, "would you like us to remake it or a refund" no I'm sorry not anything to remedy the situation. Between the 5 of us with to go plates was nearly $130 ish. I'm so disappointed and know the owner would be upset with how his staff handled this. My chicken saaj bowl also was lack luster in flavor, I go to another Mediterranean place locally that is way way way more flavor. Hope the owner has a talk with his team about back of the kitchen etiquette so there isn't food in other people's food.

Everything is meant to be share style on the menu, and so we opted to do a few starting dips with pita bread as well as some salads and two main dishes. The pita bread was honestly the highlight of my night! It was made fresh and it was so simple, but so delectable on its own, even without the hummus, which was also delicious. I think this is one of the best places you can go for good appetizers. I felt that the meat was good, but not as stand out as the hummus and the asparagus salad. I would love to come back for the pita bread alone. The service was exceptional, with an attentive and friendly staff.

Decided to give it another try and probably won't go back. I think I'll give 4 stars because it's probably some people's favorite place but I'd probably rank it lower. Was good but honestly boring. I can get the same meal but better up the street on Gallatin with more decor, great staff, and more reasonable prices. It was pretty slow even with only a few tables taken on a week night. The explanation of the menu items wasn't clear even after asking (I don't think the staff member was fully knowledgeable on the ingredients) so we just picked what sounded okay and went with it.

The…read morerestaurant was completely packed when we visited, so I'm really glad I booked a table well in advance. They have a relatively small entrée menu, and the entrées are definitely on the pricey side. However, they have a great selection of appetizers and smaller plates, which makes it easy to try a variety of dishes. I decided to go with the Chef's Choice option, where the chef decides what you eat. Honestly, I'm really glad I went with this because it allowed us to experience a wide variety of dishes without having to choose everything ourselves. We started with fried potatoes with green garlic chimichurri and whipped feta with dip. The whipped feta was absolutely amazing and one of the first highlights of the meal. We then received a couple of special bite-sized appetizers, including bacon-wrapped dates and beet falafel bites. The bacon-wrapped date was delicious, and the beet falafel was a fun and flavorful bite. The halibut sushi was good, but the real surprise for me was the avocado and crispy rice salad. This dish was absolutely out of this world! The crispy rice added an amazing texture, and the combination of flavors was fantastic. For the entrée, we had the house kebab platter, which came with house shishito peppers, fried okra, mushrooms, chicken and steak kebabs, along with a side of fermented pepper. There was a lot going on with this platter, and it was a great way to finish the savory part of the meal. We ended dinner with the peach and almond Malabi, which was delicious and a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, Butcher & Bee completely lived up to my expectations. The Chef's Choice experience was definitely the right decision, especially for someone like me who loves trying different dishes. The food was creative, flavorful, and full of interesting combinations. The only thing to keep in mind is that the entrées can be quite expensive, but the smaller plates give you a chance to sample a lot of different flavors. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time because this place fills up quickly!

Nothing fancy here, good old fashioned gyros, service and prices. There is a drive thru or dine-in, I stopped by and decided to pop inside and the speed of order, preparation and walking out was the same as I would have gotten in the drive thru. They are efficient! I went with the Philly Steak Gyro (which is misspelled on their menu, just adding to the charm) and a side of fries. The combo for both runs you about $14. The gyro meat was sliced, cut and then tossed on the flat top along with peppers and onions (86 peppers for me), then packed on to a warm pita and topped with tzatziki or ranch...of course I went tzatziki. The fries were lightly seasoned and well fried. The gyro was not the prettiest thing or the easiest to eat, but it was jam packed and tasty! Only negative, if I would even call it that was it was a bit greasy, which made for "wet" portions of the pita from being wrapped up. Service was friendly. They get to business when you walk in, so don't take too long to browse the menu...keep it moving! The space is worn and dated, but again, the vibe seems right for this spot. Overall, solid spot for a tasty gyro in NE Nashville!
