This spot has really good food! I've ordered a few plates from here and they don't miss. They have a really good chicken salad (but it's a big back salad). The magic way mix plate is a filler. I highly recommend for anyone not caring if their back gets wide or if they want a cheat meal. Great food with decent prices! read more

Tried Magic Way a few days ago & it was awesome! We had the chicken shawarma (pictured) & a quesadilla. The food was made to order (even the fries). There were a few people waiting when we arrived for pickup, but they moved about as fast as you'd expect for freshly cooked food! The restaurant was clean. I'd visit again. read more

Very slow on Saturday at 6pm - it took over 30 mins for a gyro plate from the counter! Not sure what was the holdup. The worker took several orders after mine without going to the kitchen to make food. I would have left (there are plenty of gyro places close by) but I had already paid. When it came out, he served customers out of order. Then he couldn't remember what I had ordered. We will not be back. read more

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was really nice and quick too. The restaurant is small but they were super busy with lots of people ordering and waiting but I was surprised as to how fast they serviced everyone and gave them their foods. I got the loaded steak fries and the suicide plate and it was about $30 and definitely worth it. Will come back to try it again! They have a lot of different things in the menu too! read more

By far the best Gyro establishment I have had in America. The owner was working extremely hard with another cook as they took order after order. I went in towards the end of the night and it was cars lined up for this place and I wondered how I have yet to eat here and I pass it all the time. I had the "Crazy 5 Shawarma " w: Lamb, beef & Chicken w/ the cheese fries!! My GOD, simply amazing!!!!! Bountiful flavor with a potion size that took me two days to eat! Great food. Fun people. And the tablecloths are to die for. I had the burrito with the shrimp and the gyro. It had green peppers in it which I would have never guessed is a fine addition. (I am an amateur burrito connoisseur) The fries were big and crunchy. The perfect mix of soft potatoes and crispy on the outside. The cheese is wonderful on it but I don't know it any other way. The only issue with that is, why ask me if I want cheese on it? Waste of conversation, of course I do. There could be more diet drink options, but there can also be none. shrug. 5 stars. Crazy 5 Mix plate is very delicious. I had mine with a Medium Spice level and it was supposed to be with a kick. It is definitely spicier than a kick and I would just say level down what you think Medium. The favorite meat was the steak because it had a nice char to it. All the flavors combined well . Because of the spice level, wish I had more salad to go with it to cool it down. The food is enough for 2 people. I ordered Delivery through the app and the experience was one of the best. Fastest service hands down. Grub Hub did a great job. I have had many things door dashed and I am thinking Grub Hub may be my new go to delivery company. read more

Amazing!! I needed a place that wasn't too far and could deliver an amazing cheesesteak. Magic Way did just that! The Philly cheesesteak is spot on. The steak was tender and seasoned perfectly! As soon as you open the container to eat you'll be overloaded by the smell of an incredible cheesesteak. I think I drooled a little lol. The fries were also seasoned quite well and were the perfect compliment for the amazing sandwich. Portion size was perfect and provided half a meal as leftovers. read more

I'm really surprised by how many good reviews this place has. We came here for dinner to try something new based on the restaurant having 4 stars and regretted it. The staff was rude, it took 20 minutes for them to cook our food and when we got it, it was cold. The gyro didn't have much flavor which was a shame because the pictures really had a "wow" factor. The tables and chairs were falling apart and there was a baby screaming at the top of her lungs, the entire time we were there. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience, to which I would never go back. read more

Just got some lunch to-go and oh my gosh was it incredible. I got the shrimp plate with hot spice level and wow: the flavor and spice levels were unreal. The portion size was huge, so I even had leftovers for dinner. My boyfriend got the suicide plate and said that it was incredible, too. We will definitely be ordering lunch from here again soon! read more

Yum, yum, yum! I ordered my food through Yelp. I requested the gyro combo with specific instructions. The staff honored and fulfilled my request with no issues. My food was hot and ready. Overpriced for what you get. This place used to be so good, now they barely give enough for one person even when buying two meats. He cooked what was supposed to be on my plate but then left some on the grill instead of putting it on the plate. The specials they advertise in the restaurant are not valid and they won't honor them even though they have them posted. There's other new gyro places nearby that will get our business from now on. Feel ripped off by this place to pay 30 bucks for two plates. Most gyro places that would be 20 bucks. Flavor is decent but not worth 30 bucks by any means read more

I love this place! It's close to my home, the food is great, and the service is amazing. Being pescatarian (only eating seafood) they have a lot of options for me to choose from. The owner is super friendly and remembers me. He even remembers my order. My favorite take out restaurant near by hands down!!! The food, omg, the food is fantastic too. Maybe I'm late but Magic Way Steak & Gyro is life! I think we been sleepin on my man Hipsters. Straight FYE! We got the chopped cheese sub with Kofta, mixed grilled gyro plate & quesadilla. When I tell you the portions are ridiculous, the price is so reasonable & it tastes amazing...I kid you not. Homemade baklava & Mango Fruit tea-neither made with sugar but Honey. All veggies tasted so fresh. Behind Sonic on Bell Rd. Incredibly clean as well. Open till 11pm & delivery within 25 miles. This dude doing things NY style & its as close as I've gotten since being in NY last year. I love my man Zeus but he giving him a run for his money. Delicious food. Spicy the way I want it. Generous portions. Tender cuts of meat. I have NO IDEA how the food arrives hot, but the salads are cold and crisp. Their rice is so good that I would eat it daily. I love that they used deveined shrimp too! I've had their wings and fries as well. Don't forget to add the spice level of you are ordering delivery. My only issue is the consistency of the cheese sauce for the fries. I solved it by not ordering it again. Please make your pita bread a side you can add. Oh... Our new favorite spot to get Gyro sandwiches , Gyro plates and Philly Cheese Steak subs from!! We moved back to South Nashville, found this hidden gem. Man, When I tell you this is the best Gyro meat I have ate in Nashville! The vibes are always good in here, the owner and he's dad are so down to earth and we always have a good laugh there. The Mango Tea is so good we can never order any food without it. Lol They make the food spicy for you, they don't lie when they say it will be spicy!! So be careful! The owner and staff are very nice people. It helps to be nice to them as a customer. I read some other reviews on here and I just have a feeling that the people who said the workers are rude were actually rude themselves and have too high of expectations of a person who works SO MANY HOURS and tries to have a successful business. The owner is extremely nice and even gives random good deals to kind customers. The food is great and reasonably priced. They have a variety of foods and try to appeal to their regulars. Food was OK nothing special had the cheesesteak definitely not a Phill cheesesteak. Large hotdog type bun not sure what the meat was -again just OK. Clean the place up no napkins, non working soda fountain, no towels in the bathroom, trash overflowing, had to ask for utensils, no napkins on the tables. I didn't expect a lot and got exactly that. read more

We were certainly excited to try Uzbek food, as there's nowhere that serves it where we live. The restaurant doesn't look like too much from the outside and the parking lot is a little run down. However, the inside is very updated and super clean and comfortable. There's lots of seating, what appears to be a private room in the back, and some high-tech features, like a machine that you can use to alert waitstaff if you need a refill, a to-go box, or any other kind of attention. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Service was a little strange. I wouldn't say it was slow - every time we placed an order or had a request, our food or items were promptly brought out to us. However, the challenge came in getting the attention of our waitresses. Two ladies took care of us, alternating based on availability. One was very nice and friendly, the other a little gruff and irritable-seeming. But both were completely averse to coming in and checking on us without one of us flagging them down. Perhaps they're used to the little machines? I don't like using those because they come across as too demanding; I'd prefer to just be visited and checked in on from time to time by staff. Not so here. Despite not being very busy, our visit took a lot of time, even though the actual food service was fairly quick. Onto the food, the most important part. We ordered a lot because I wanted to experience as many unique dishes as possible. One waitress first brought out a complimentary serving of pita and what I believe was suzma, which the menu describes as a yogurt-based cheese. This was one of the highlights of our meal, actually, as the pita was hot, fresh, and very lightly charred. The suzma went very well with it. Then we ordered a chicken somsa and some Uzbek bread. The chicken somsa was alright; the pastry was delightfully flaky, but for me it was way too onion-forward. The Uzbek bread was another highlight. It was a temperature and textural delight - so warm and fluffy - if not a flavor bomb. It was great to polish off the remaining suzma from our complimentary treat. For entrees, my husband wanted to try the signature osh, while I ordered chicken shashlik. The osh was probably the better of the two but he didn't love it. It was quite greasy and the lamb was on the gamey side. My chicken shashlik had definitely been near charcoal too long; it had an overly-charred, unpleasant chemical-y taste. The accompanying rice had so much butter or oil in it that it was greasy, too, and although that imparted more flavor into it, I felt gross after a couple of bites. Everything was cooked well, just the flavors really didn't quite come together for us on this visit. It's hard for me to believe, given the average outstanding reviews and consistent praise this place gets, that our experience was an average one. Perhaps we just came on an off day or ordered the wrong things for our palates, since we're fairly unfamiliar with this cuisine. I would be willing to try again some day, but sadly our first visit didn't quite wow the way we'd hoped it would. I appreciate the clean and pretty environment and quickly prepared food!

Stopped in here on a whim after hitting up the liquor store a few doors down. This was one of the best gyros I've had. The gyro and the fries were delicious and I was given very generous portions so I get to eat it again.
