I had been meaning to try this San Jose based eatery ever since my husband couldn't stop raving about it. I love their location in the Nashville Yards. Situated right around the corporate offices, it's incredibly convenient, especially for a quick order. Vibes: They offer kiosk ordering as well. The staff is extremely polite and quick with orders. There's sufficient seating, and the place is always very clean. The Bite: I tried their Nick Fries loaded fries topped with chicken gyro, garlic yogurt, feta, and scallions. Juicy chicken, crisp fries, and that garlic sauce... just delicious. The portion size was generous, and although I had planned to order more, I ended up stopping at the fries once I realized how filling they were. My husband has tried both the chicken rice bowl and the chicken gyro, which he claims were amazing. I'm really fascinated by their Tahini Crush Salad and can't wait to try it next!

Food was fresh, portion sizes inconsistent between our two gyro bowls. One had lots of chicken and rice, the other had much less rice and hardly any meat. Hummus, tzatziki sauce and spicy yogurt are great! Will try again for hopefully more consistency in portion sizes. No parking or pick up areas so if you aren't ordering delivery can be difficult to access unless you live walking distance.

Nick The Greek brought their authentic Greek street food to Nashville Yards downtown! Their menu is extensive and full of delicious, refreshing options! The staff were so nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I also loved the color scheme and decor of the space. It felt very open, clean, and comfortable. What we got: Gyro Bowls (one lamb, one chicken), Mediterranean Bowl (with steak), Gyro Plate (with chicken), Beef/Lamb Gyro, Greek Fries, Froyo (one with baklava and honey, one with a chocolate shell), & Greek donuts My favorites: Mediterranean Bowl (with steak), Froyo (with baklava and honey) & Greek donuts Parking: Pay to park garage underneath Nashville Yards (I paid about $20 for 2.5 hours)

The employees were great. The atmosphere a little too polished and corporate for an authentic Greek place. Gyro was pretty good, the chicken had a mustard sauce I didn't care for nor have I ever had in Greece. I had high hopes for Greek Food in Nashville, still searching...

I found my food to be quite over priced for what it is. I may have had too high of hopes from seeing people rave about this place all over TikTok, but I was upset I went out of my way to come here. My Greek salad was good, but nothing special and I prefer other fast casual Greek salads. The space felt very awkward, but service was good and staff were very kind, though I was put off seeing what seemed to be staff family members come in and pass a toddler over the counter and place her bare feet on the front counter. I would not venture here again.

Welcome to Nashville, Nick the Greek! This spot just opened up downtown and it was delicious. The smell of food hits you as soon as you walk up to the door. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. I got to try the gyro, falafel, Mediterranean bowl and their dessert while I was there! I'm so excited for this to be a lunch spot for me while I'm at work now. The food was delicious and I will be back.

This place is sooo sooo good! I loved almost everything about my Souvlaki Beef dinner -- tasty beef, delish pita, yummy rice! And yet...careful if you have a special request. My allergy to onions isn't life threatening, but it does cause physical reactions. Just be aware when you order. This was a delivery, so I didn't get to check until I got back to my room. I'll still be going back! I will just make sure -- NO ONIONS.

I visited for their grand opening, and they were offering free lunch, which was a great way to introduce themselves! While waiting in line, they handed out fans to keep everyone cool, along with free froyo samples which was so good! I ordered the beef gyro plate with rice, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were on point, and everything was fresh. The service was quick and attentive, even though the live band made it a little tricky to hear my order. The strawberry dragonfruit drink is also delicious! All in all, a great experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

I'd…read moresaved them in my Nashville bookmarks for some time after they received a lot of acclaim on Yelp - I believe at one time they were on a Yelp list of best restaurants in the US. We were certainly excited to try Uzbek food, as there's nowhere that serves it where we live. The restaurant doesn't look like too much from the outside and the parking lot is a little run down. However, the inside is very updated and super clean and comfortable. There's lots of seating, what appears to be a private room in the back, and some high-tech features, like a machine that you can use to alert waitstaff if you need a refill, a to-go box, or any other kind of attention. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Service was a little strange. I wouldn't say it was slow - every time we placed an order or had a request, our food or items were promptly brought out to us. However, the challenge came in getting the attention of our waitresses. Two ladies took care of us, alternating based on availability. One was very nice and friendly, the other a little gruff and irritable-seeming. But both were completely averse to coming in and checking on us without one of us flagging them down. Perhaps they're used to the little machines? I don't like using those because they come across as too demanding; I'd prefer to just be visited and checked in on from time to time by staff. Not so here. Despite not being very busy, our visit took a lot of time, even though the actual food service was fairly quick. Onto the food, the most important part. We ordered a lot because I wanted to experience as many unique dishes as possible. One waitress first brought out a complimentary serving of pita and what I believe was suzma, which the menu describes as a yogurt-based cheese. This was one of the highlights of our meal, actually, as the pita was hot, fresh, and very lightly charred. The suzma went very well with it. Then we ordered a chicken somsa and some Uzbek bread. The chicken somsa was alright; the pastry was delightfully flaky, but for me it was way too onion-forward. The Uzbek bread was another highlight. It was a temperature and textural delight - so warm and fluffy - if not a flavor bomb. It was great to polish off the remaining suzma from our complimentary treat. For entrees, my husband wanted to try the signature osh, while I ordered chicken shashlik. The osh was probably the better of the two but he didn't love it. It was quite greasy and the lamb was on the gamey side. My chicken shashlik had definitely been near charcoal too long; it had an overly-charred, unpleasant chemical-y taste. The accompanying rice had so much butter or oil in it that it was greasy, too, and although that imparted more flavor into it, I felt gross after a couple of bites. Everything was cooked well, just the flavors really didn't quite come together for us on this visit. It's hard for me to believe, given the average outstanding reviews and consistent praise this place gets, that our experience was an average one. Perhaps we just came on an off day or ordered the wrong things for our palates, since we're fairly unfamiliar with this cuisine. I would be willing to try again some day, but sadly our first visit didn't quite wow the way we'd hoped it would. I appreciate the clean and pretty environment and quickly prepared food!

I've wanted to eat at Fattoush Café since I moved to Nashville, but I've never found myself in that part of town at meal time. We walked in and found a cozy atmosphere, with no pretense. A single gentleman behind the counter, who may have been the owner, begged our indulgence as none of his employees had shown up to work that day. We were fine to wait given the delicious smells coming from the grill. He asked us if we wanted the chicken shawarma, and then apologized because he was freshly cooking a batch and it would take 15 minutes to be ready. That was music to our ears. Any Mediterranean restaurant that cooks proteins to order shows great promise. We had a chicken Shawarma salad, and the super platter. The portions were tremendous, the proteins were spectacular, and the tzatziki and spicy sauce both tasted looked and smelled homemade. The hummus was some of the best I've had in this town. The total for two huge meals, that really fed us each twice, was a paltry $40. The man behind the counter thanked us for coming in, again thanked us before we left, and was genuinely kind and seemed happy to have us in the restaurant. Very highly recommended for an amazing Middle Eastern meal on Charlotte Pike near downtown Nashville.

We started with the spinach fatayer, arnabeet, and the hummus beyrouti. The hummus beyrouti (classic hummus topped with chopped sirloin) was good, but not a standout--I'd probably try something else before ordering it again. The spinach fatayer and arnabeet, though, were great. As two people who don't usually love beets, the arnabeet totally surprised us--you really don't taste much beet, and the cauliflower shines. The spinach fatayer was fluffy with a perfectly seasoned filling. Our mains came with a small side of the Epice salad. It was fine, but probably wouldn't order it on its own. I got the za'atar roasted chicken and it was cooked perfectly--super moist on the inside with deliciously crispy skin. The yogurt sauce it sits on was amazing; I just wish there was more of it. Jonathan ordered the lamb shank, and wow. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and such a hearty, comforting cold-weather dish. Food came out so quickly--we were in and out in about an hour, which was a huge plus. We were too full for dessert, but everything looked incredible and definitely gives us a reason to come back.
