I randomly ended up at this place on a Friday night where every single place was full. I had no regrets despite the 30min wait to get the bill and that's why I remove 1 star. I had their spicy potatoes and "scrambled" eggs. Both dishes were very simple but delicious! The scrambled eggs was not really scrambled. It was a sunny side-up eggs with potato and their special ham. Loved it. Spicy potatoes was not spicy at all but still delicious. Service was ok. The waitress was nice, but the place was pretty busy for only 2 people serving. We had to wait probably more than 30min to pay for the food.

    Chocolate coulant

Stumbled onto this place around the corner from our hotel and had the most delicious tapas. Croquettes melt in your mouth and all ingredients were fresh and appetizing. The chocolate coulant dessert with ice cream was rich and satisfying. Friendly service.

They're light, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of cream, truly irresistible. And if you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate version is equally divine (you might just need to get both, trust me). But my absolute favorite treat here is the pan dulce con manzana. The buttery layers, the delicate apple slices caramelized just right, and the subtle sweetness make it the perfect pastry. Pair it with a strong espresso and you've got the ideal way to start your morning in Barcelona. The best part? You don't have to stop at breakfast. I always recommend grabbing one of their fresh bocadillos en pan casero to enjoy later in the day, or picking up one of their panes artesanos to savor at home, simple, rustic, and delicious even on their own. Forn Puiggròs isn't just a bakery, it's a ritual. Go in the morning, enjoy something sweet with your coffee, and leave with bread that will make the rest of your day even better.

There were six of us, so we kind of caught them by surprise, but the staff didn't miss a beat. They took good care of us with friendly and efficient service. The pastries were absolutely delicious, and the cappuccinos were spot on--just the perfect start to the day. Overall, Forn is a great little spot near Sagrada Familia for breakfast, and I recommend it if you're in the area.
