A large picture was destroyed and several boxes went missing from the move. The owner let me know they were left in a different city and country from where the rest of items were delivered. I was charged $67 more than what was agree on and multiple pieces of my companies electronics, part of my home office set-up, were also left in another city and country with no address. The fact that none of the employees spoke English only made this all more difficult. Topping it off when I tried to pay my bank warned me of excessive fraudulent activity on the "company" account when I tried to pay. I was asked to send the payment to the owner and list them as a friend on zelle. Do not get screwed by them! Do not trust this company. Great moving service! Honest, hardworking, and very punctual. Hector and his team were early to our moving appointment. Moving is stressful enough, and I had some trouble with the loading dock that morning, but Hector quickly found a way to resolve the issue even though it made his job harder. Although I had already boxed everything up, I was glad they had protective blankets and also wrapped many pieces of furniture for me. They are very efficient, careful, and reliable. They showed up EXACTLY at 8am and they were the friendliest people. Extremely professional, the broken down the furniture that needed it and wrapped everything. Héctor is a liar and scammer. - He charged me a $900 flat rated after quoting me $300 flat rate with every hr after 2 an additional $119. - he said he would provide closet boxes for my clothes and did not. They simply added tape to the boxes. - his men broke my computer monitors by dropping them (luckily I have this all on video) not wrapping them, or protecting them in any way. - they threw the boxes wherever in my home after telling them where to put them. Only causing us more work to remove all the boxes from the wrong rooms & floor & putting them where we directed for them to go. - when brought this to hectors attention, he originally ignored me. Then tried to blame me for my electronics being broken for not being in a box, however, on video he says his men can wrap them. Then says that they put it with pillows when they were not. Luckily for me, I read all the reviews and saw some of the discrepancies customers had so I made sure to keep all my cameras on during the move as it's clear Hector is not an honest person. It's pointless for me to go back and forth with him when the entire move is on video. He refused to give me their insurance information which means they probably don't have any. With that, I'll be taking this to small claims court and I will update my review after the court case is settled. read more

Update to Owner's comment: 3 movers arrived, yes, but only 2 of the 3 movers actually worked! I'm not paying for some to just sit in the truck. I ended up having to call a friend for assistance when I arrived to my new place because it became clear they were attempting to take advantage of the situation. And beyond that, they STILL did not inform me that my dresser was damaged. I was the one who discovered the damage and notified them. They should have reported the damage to me immediately rather than days later when I found it myself. ------------------------------- I will NOT be using this moving service again, and here's why: I have used this moving service on two occasions. The first experience was smooth, with no issues. However, during the second move this month, the mover attempted to increase the agreed-upon price in the middle of the service (see text message attachment). I agree to two movers and yet he tried to charge me for 3 when that was not what we agreed on. ALSO, my dresser was damaged, and the movers failed to inform me. I only discovered the damage a few days later, and it became evident that they had tried to glue the dresser back together without notifying me at the time. (See attachment) When I requested compensation for the damage, the mover admitted that they didn't disclose the issue because they believed I wouldn't have paid for the service had I known my $200 dresser was broken after already paying them $400. Although I overlooked the breakage of two picture frames during the move, this dresser was a significant expense, and I expected better care and honesty. The only off putting thing was: ****They did overcharge me originally, but we showed the original quote and it was resolved IMMEDIATELY to the correct price.***** The window to arrive was 1-2 they arrived at 2:45 but notified me of their ETA at a reasonable time! They came and listened to instruction on what to touch and what not to touch. They followed directions great. They got our boxes out with speed into their car. They requested a break as they had not had one all day and still were working with grit. They took a 40 minute lunch from 3:30 to 4:10 and then snapped right back at it. They asked about our piano and I asked if they had the ability to move it and they said absolutely and at a very competitive price for piano movers. We provided them water and they were killing it bringing everything into the new place. They finished at about 7:20. Everything was moved with caution and consideration. We are unpacking things still and nothing has been broken. TVs were wrapped. When we shared what was fragile they were considerate. I would highly recommend them. Hector was very responsive when we texted him and asked him questions. But other than that, it was the same as the other reviewer said, there were two people and then a third was added without letting us know. There was a difference in price, there was never a consent for this. There were several things that bothered me: 1. I brought my plant downstairs from my fourth floor apartment to the first floor. They literally only had to put the plant in their moving truck. I was able to bring it out of my apartment, through the doors, and through the elevator with no problems. Why did it show up at my new home with a broken leaf? All they had to do was put it in the truck, the huge truck. And they broke it. 2. They broke my vanity knobs. 3. They didn't keep all my screws together so now I'm missing a bunch of screws for all my things. 4. They wore shoes into my new home and stomped all over my new carpet with their shoes. Cringe. Other companies at least put booties on. 5. No care was shown to my things. The reason why Hector was so responsive was because he was on his phone the whole time while the other two people were working. I'm very upset. read more

I picked H1 based on price & responsiveness; they seemed to be the best value at $95/hr for a 3-man crew. Hector assured me that he would bring wardrobe boxes & I could leave my clothes in drawers, that they would pack for me. They were scheduled to arrive at 8:30 today but called at 8:45 to say they'd be here by 9:30. They arrived at a few minutes after 10 with 4 workers instead of 3. They immediately began grabbing boxes & loading them into the truck without checking with me. Some of the boxes were intended for trash pickup. I also wanted to let them know which items were fragile, where the boxes needed to go at destination, which items to leave but they began picking those up too. Then Hector said, "We're leaving the clothes right?" I said, "No, you told me you'd bring wardrobe boxes." He looked at me like I was crazy & said he didn't have any on the truck so they couldn't take the clothes. When I read his text back to him & insisted that he had told me he would pack my clothes, he said he could wrap them in moving blankets. Then he asked if I was taking the books on the bookshelves. I said yes. He again said he had no boxes so couldn't take them & he'd have to go back to his shop to see if they had boxes. I said I'll go buy boxes. Then as if as a last resort, he said he'd check in the truck & sure enough, had quite a few boxes which I'm sure he knew all along but didn't want to use his boxes since they were included in the price. I offered for them to use the rest of my packing supplies. They labeled or rather mislabeled the boxes. But the kicker was when Hector said, " I'll do the job for you for a set price instead of hourly. $1200." I said that's way more than you were going to charge me before at $95/hr!!! He said it was because they had an extra guy, a 4-man crew. Now the first I knew about this extra guy was when he showed up. I didn't request it & it was never mentioned. I said how much do you charge for the extra man??!! He said $150/hr which was $55/hr more than a 3-man crew. I argued with him & he said he'd bring the price down to $1000. He said he needed the extra guy because I had too much stuff - something he didn't know when he brought the guy because we only spoke over the phone & via email so he never saw what I had. He made the decision to bring an extra guy & charge me $55 more per hour all on his own. He finally agreed that he couldn't change the terms of service upon arrival like that. At lunch time, I had to drive Hector to pick up food for his crew. What would they have done if I wasn't there? I also asked them not to touch anything in the master bath & kept the door shut. I was packing my own toiletries & really using it as a retreat for the 6 hrs they were there. I would open the door to find the fan on & the toilet cover raised, letting me know they were using this bathroom anyway although there was another available. The workers also decided all by themselves which items they considered to be trash & didn't load them on the truck. Specifically they were throwing out the stand for my portable grill which works fine, & the arc lamp for my living room which comes apart in pieces & screws back together. I tried to explain that it wasn't broken, just taken apart & told them 3 times to take it but in the end they left it in the trash pile. I had to retrieve these items myself later. At the destination, they just started unloading & dropping off boxes wherever they felt like it. Hector claimed that they only put boxes where they were marked or the same room where they had come from. My office filing cabinet ended up in the master bedroom & at least a dozen boxes marked "Guest Room" are in the master now. While packing in reused boxes they didn't bother to relabel some & so I have boxes in my bedroom that should be in the kitchen or office. I had to constantly tell them to move things from the garage to an upstairs room. I had to get them to move things out of the way in the garage so I could park my car. Days later I also am finding that they lost some of the hardware for my tv stand shelving so I can't insert the shelf. They lost the legs for my dresser so it sits directly on the carpet & the bottom drawers won't open!! They did manage to retrieve the matching legs for the nightstands though & kept them together near the furniture, although they did not install them when setting up the nightstands at the new house. I write all of this as a warning. DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN. This was by far the worst moving experience I've had. read more

Positive they had a noon opening. The loading took 65 mins Cons: all 3 guys left their water bottles in my apartment. The truck with temporary tags stopped twice. I asked and NEVER received an itemized bill totaling far more than it should. As of today management hasn't responded. The unload took 2 hours ???? The younger of the three leaked all over my brand new bathroom. Intentional???? I was grossly overcharged and would not recommend this company to anyone in Houston. Supposedly I was not charged for the 30 minutes while waiting to receive a jump for a dead battery. Would greatly appreciate a refund of the overcharge. read more
