Took my truck in to get my tire fixed, when they gave it back to me, there was a crack on the window. 100% was not there when i dropped it off and they tried to say it wasn't them. There's no way to prove it was them so I just left but the dishonesty and lack of care is very upsetting. read more

They had my car for over a month for repairs and claimed to have "shipping" issues. My insurance only paid for 30 days for a rental car. I finally got my jeep back and it had more problems than before it was taken there. They misdiagnosed my vehicle and it will be another 2-3 weeks without my car and they are refusing to pay for a rental even though this is on them. This is just bad business and unprofessional. I am in the middle of making reports and calls on them. read more

If u are talking inspections, be careful. It took about three days for us to get it done. And, soooo expensive to get a minor repair done. You know the old expression, "They saw me coming." Or the other one, "had me over a barrel." That is what I thought. Got to be other places! read more

Review Id like to start by saying im not a complainer and dont normally review anything whether i have something good or bad to say. My experience with h&f this past time was like a bad dream that wouldnt end. My boyfriend and i have been loyal to h&f lancaster for many years before this last experience. I dropped off my car for inspection, 4 new tires and an oil change on 8/23/20 upon arrival i told a man to check the undercarriage due to going down a hill that was rutted and scraped a week prior and was told "girls tend to do that". I told him actually my boyfriend was driving... On 8/24 i was called to inform my car would need rear brakes and rotors to pass inspection; the rear brakes were supposed to have been replaced about 6-7 months earlier however they told me only the fronts needed brakes as well as rotors. I question how the rotors were now shot if the brakes didnt need replaced months earlier but agreed to do it. Went in later that day to pick up my car and left noticing squealing and rattling coming from the back right area. To be sure i wasnt crazy i got it home for my boyfriend to test out and he agreed something was not right however the shop was now closed for the weekend. The following monday i called and was told to bring it in. I left work and got there promptly and was told "it was a loose bolt". Once i got home later that day i inspected the car again and found scrapes on 3 of my wheels caused by the tire changer machine. At this point due to the lack of care and concern i received on the numerous calls i had with them i decided to email what i thought would be corporate but received a call back from the shop days later. I took my car in yet again for them to inspect. They agreed 3 tires were scraped by them and the 4th had curb rash (which i was planning to soon repair anyway) we scheduled a day for me to bring back my car so they could send the 3 wheels out to be repaired. It was now 9/7 when i dropped off my car again and was told it would take a day or 2. On 9/9 i called the shop asking whether the car was ready and was told it would be another day. The following day i was called to inform that the wheel repair company couldnt match my wheel color and so they would need to pint the 3 wheels a different color and theyd give me extra paint to have for the 4th once i had it repaired. I questioned whether they could paint the 4th and id pay the difference but was told "well they only have 3"... i didnt argue since i just wanted my car back regardless at this point. I was pushed off over and over and felt like such an inconvenience to them and finally 5 days after dropping off my car, on 9/11 showed up at the shop an hour before close to find out what the hold up was. (I happened to be sick this week and didnt work at all, if i hadnt been sick im not sure how i wouldve gotten to and from work each day). I finally had my car back with 3 wheels a lighter silver and the 4th a dark gray. The paint job on the rims were subpar with running clear coat on most and spots of roughness. A local bodyshop offered his help since he dealt with the garage many times but in conclusion h&f said they will not fix anymore since i wont be returning regardless... i have never felt so helpless in a situation and am now left with mismatching poorly painted rims on a car that ive taken an immense amount of pride in. read more

As a former employee and customer go somewhere else. I had worked for company for 1yr and 4 months during which time i have had car repairs. Had drivers side headlight instalked which 8 months later needed replaced again. Also had water pump installed, which needed to be replaced before the headlight. Water pump was under warranty and had to wait almost 3 months to be reimbursed for and they put my refund on the pay roll app adp which then took taxes out of warranty. Withheld over $40 to pay for dental insurance which i could not use because they put wrong name on insurance card. Then during work ended up getting 3 hernias which were originally covered by workers comp then denied. Lost apartment lived in vehicle for over month and continued to work everyday. Didnt turn in gas receipts like half the company was told i needed to turn them all in. Next day did that and then was informed very next day i was being let go. They do not care about their employees or customers only about the all mighty dollar. There are cheaper places to get tires and businesses that care about the work they do on customers cars. I had an emergency as I am traveling far from home and had a bad air leak and I just needed my valve stem sealed which was a new dealership purchased sensor and not some aftermarket nonsense. read more

Wow--wow--wow! I received unparalleled SERVICE today! I was working at a client's house when a bolt pierced the front tire of my 3500 Silverado work truck. The tire went flat immediately. Ugh!! I called my boss and he suggested calling H & F Tires. Right away, my call was connected to Bret. His work teams were all out on calls, but when he heard my predicament (work truck flat and team stuck at clients house), he came there right away! He removed the worn, punctured tire and returned shortly with the new one I wanted--just as our team finished and were ready to load up. He had us ready in NO time. We had our first recent experience here a few years ago a stubborn bolt from a license plate wouldn't come loose (right down the road from Brimmer's). They worked at it and got it and didn't charge much. This morning I saw the light for tire pressure come on in our new-to-us Honda Odyssey and thought I smelled rubber. I stopped and they came right out to help, adding pressure, checking each tire (and replacing the old, worn valve caps AND they didn't charge a dime! Everyone was quick, friendly and comprehensive and I was off in about 5 minutes! Please consider them next time you need tires (or even just a little help!) read more

Went to get new tires at H&F Tires. Never again!! They broke my wheel, lost a lug nut, left my floor muddy and just threw the tire unlocking device all over my seat. Couldn't even bother to put it back where they got it. They had to send for my wheel to be welded because they couldn't find a replacement. Then charged me for it. When I complained they said oh well, it happens. Guess they lost a customer. read more

While here for a few days we picked up a nail in the sidewall of the tire. No one had the size we needed. We called them at 4pm and we were told they didn't have anything but could have it the next day by 4pm transferred. They did we showed up at 415 it was there they changed it right away even though they were closing at 5pm. Thanks for the professional and friendly service. read more
