Decent place, unless the older lady is on cashier duty. I do not know what her issue is, but she is very rude and her presence drains the life out of the place. She makes unwanted comments about purchases, gets combative if you want to ask questions or want mistakes fixed, and has serious RBF. You could cut the aura coming from her with a butter knife. This is the only liquor store that I go to in Glendora. I go there mainly to get my lottery tickets. The reason I choose this place, is the woman who works the counter. She is there all the time and I asked her if she is the owner(no), because she takes good care of the place . She puts up with some disrespect from particular customers, as would anyone in a liquor store, but she sets boundaries. Therefore I feel safe as a woman walking into the business. Others in town are not as comfortable. They have the standard supplies of spirits , and also snacks and a few groceries. While standing in line the cashier was chatting up with a white woman and when it came to me, I greeted him nicely, and he did not greet me back and just looked at me and took my item. Totally agree with the other comments about "Karen" makes you wonder how she even has a job, SO RUDE!! The blonde lady working during the day behind the counter is the rudest, laziest, most disrespectful person I have ever met in my life. I go here every once in a while if you buy lottery tickets. Everyone at the store is lovely with the exception of the blonde woman works during the day. She has the nastiest attitude I hate going in during the day because I know she is always there. She's just awful to deal with. She's rude, she's lazy, she never bothers even the simplest greeting. This place has cleaned up over the years and they have been adding more and more craft beer so that is a plus. I heard that the owner of Lone Hill Liquor in the same city also owns this place so I would assume that's why the selection of beers has improved. I would recommend this store to anybody who is in the area and would like a better selection of beers than you would find at a local super market. read more

I'm from out of town, visiting family. Stopped in to get a soda for the trip back home. Was really impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the helpful employee. Didn't catch his name. A chubby Mexican guy. Helped me with directions back home and even got me to buy lottery tickets. I never buy lottery tickets. Feel like its a waste of money. Guess what? I won $20! I use the laundromat a few doors down from this place, so H&H is my default liquor store each weekend. The place is always clean, and the staff are extremely polite. The only downside, and this is significant, is that the coolers need to be kept colder. The cans/bottles are cool, not cold, so your beverage will be room temperature within moments. The Coke machine/fountain hasn't worked since forever. read more

Excellent store. This place has ample parking, for sure. This is my go to liquor mart/convenience collective in Glendora. I was driving around today and I was like hmm what liquor depot thing should I go to to get some rolled tobacco? I drove around then remembered this place on the old Route 66 you know, where you get ur kicks. So I head up to the big 66 and I go in there, mind you, was a little stoned. I picked up some corn nuts first but then I saw that they have an absolutely dynamite selection of craft brews and what not. So I said to myself hey man it is Friday night somewhere and got me some ballast point and some other wacky micro craft brewsky. Go here when you want what you need. read more
