Speak Easy Friday is my favorite place to be, bar none. Relaxed, friendly vibe with a delightful variety of varietals to tantalize your palate. Oh yes, lest I forget... the music soothes the soul.

Fantastic wine shop in the heart of downtown Glendora. By far the coolest shop in town.

You can really taste the care that goes into the food. Their cheese sauces are made from scratch with -cheddar and poblano -cheddar and chipotle - cheddar I tried the Classic Cheesesteak with the poblano cheese sauce and it was DIVINE. Then I had the Caliente Chicken Cheesesteak with mango habanero, the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Don't sleep on this one, you have to try it! And the West Coast Tots?! We got it with cheddar poblano and got the chipotle sauces on the side and they were SO good. They were packed when we went, so clearly I'm not the only one who knows about this place. Definitely stop by for lunch or dinner or just grab it to go.

Great cheesesteaks with BIG portions!…read more Stopped by West Coast Cheesesteaks in Glendora and came hungry--and they definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the big cheesesteak with extra meat and cheese, and it was loaded with grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and jalapeños. There are six different cheeses to choose from, so you can really customize it to your liking. The cheesesteak was juicy, tender, and flavorful, while the bread held up surprisingly well with all the fillings. The West Coast Tots were another highlight. They were super crispy and loaded with steak and cheese. The cheese sauce had a nice texture that brought everything together. Portions are generous, the food is satisfying, and if you're a cheesesteak fan, this is definitely worth checking out. Come hungry!

We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. And for those who prefer beer, they offer a great selection of local craft options as well. We hope to see you there soon!

I started off at the Ceramic Museum just 10 minutes away highly recommend it. I arrived soon after opening since one thing closed at 5 and the other opened at 5 so ideal timing for my adventure. I arrived in ideal time to be seated outside right under the porch and mind you I arrived right before a rush of groups began to arrive after me. While I was alone I didn't feel lonely as the staff was so friendly and continued to check on me. They got busy but still catered to me as I went through my wine tasting. I ordered a season tasting and it was a perfect tasting for a fresh winter night it was not too cold and not too hot just perfect Cali weather for an evening under a porch. I also ordered a mini charcuterie board for myself and it was so perfectly delicious. I never say perfect so many times in one review I wish I could give it more an extra star. It was a lovely evening in a lovely part of town and I would highly recommend going. I went on a Friday. Parking was plentiful when I went. It was lovely to support a local business.

It's definitely a better experience than Panera. At least at Old World, the servers bring out the generous portions with plates and utensils to the table, timely. The dining room is spacious and their restrooms are always well maintained. The only downside is the parking. It may be difficult to find close parking during the business hours of the adjoining businesses. Otherwise, it's a good place for an informal meal.

Larios Market was recommended to me by a wonderful fellow Yelper. You know who you are. Thank you!…read more I wanted to get guacamole, salsa, and chips for a team potluck lunch. I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.
