Everything as promised. Reasonable price to remove a huge, sick, 50-year-old elm,; even less if they hauled to the curb--which I did, city of Houston removed the enormous tree the next day. The crew worked hard and efficiently, brought their lunch so they weren't off long for that. I respect anyone that works hard and there were 5-6 men working to get my tree safely cut. Only thing negative is they broke a small ceramic pot and never told me and they moved a heavy table without putting it back. I caught the foreman and had him collect the shards of pottery and move the table back. I give them 5-stars because their work was excellent and price great so no need to take down his rating because of something so minimal. I've recommended to my neighbor! read more

Great experience. Timely replies on Yelp. They gave a broad estimate online via pictures but I asked for a more accurate estimate. They showed next day to view tree and provide a solid estimate. I had a tree in desperate need of work. I started getting bids at the beginning of October. I planned to have the job complete at the end of the month, and gave myself plenty of time to find the right guys for the job. I was in sticker shock over some of the quotes that were coming in. They were hired to install christmas lights last year (Dec 2022) and they did in which was paid them in full for their work with the aggreement they would take them down in Jan 2023. Now after serveral months, a serious lack of communication and straight lies, they have not removed the lights. On the rare chance he did pick up the phone for me, he even stated there would be an additional fee in remove the lights. He and his team started the job within the same week and completed the work as promised. They installed a couple pallets of sod (quality Palmetto) and prep the ground work with enriched yard mix. He also spread mulch in the backyard and front yard and used the remaining sod in other bare spots of my yard. His team also help to repair cracked driveways, grinded some roots that were in the way of the form. His crew worked quickly and removed all their debris from the job site. I had some areas in my yard that, over time, began to retain water from the rains, thus very muddy and I feared my home's foundation would suffer. Hector came out to give me a quote on a possible fix. He suggested lying sod/grass atop those areas. So, even though there is a shortage of sod due to our "winter storm", Hector remained in contact to re-assure me he hadn't forgotten the project. The wait for the sod wasn't nearly as long as expected. He not only agreed to acquire and lay the sod, but also to trim my large Oak Tree's branches that were overhanging my roof and affecting my shingles, remove a tree root that was growing from my neighbor's yard which was extending itself under my home, and clean out my flower beds, bring over and place two yards of mulch down where needed all for a negotiated acceptable expense. His crew were punctual, polite, worked quickly but thoroughly. When they were finished, they had cleaned up the areas they had been in which left both my front and back yard areas pristine. ALERT! H&H Tree Service & Landscaping - Service delivery and business practices issue! Picked up his business card at our subdivision's mail boxes and after the first service decided to hire him. MY BAD! Here is what happened: 1. First lawn service was good and paid for upon completion. 2. Next time (Friday 03/29) trimming was done (appeared to be a different team), but lawn service delayed until the next week Wednesday. I paid for the trimming and for the next lawn service at the same time -- gave the key from the gate to allow access to my backyard along with the check to Hector. The service was NOT performed on Wednesday and was re-scheduled for Friday at noon. NO SHOW that day or any day thereafter. Then Hector stopped answering calls, voice and text messages. My multiple demands to return the key and refund the money for the undelivered service have been ignored. It's still the case as of April 14, 2019! 3. Just realized that other than Hector's phone number (832-606-3666) and a whole bunch of promises on his business card like "Excellent References", "Professional & Reliable", there is no last name or business, or email address. So there is no way of contacting him other than by calling the above number ending in 666! Nothing further! read more

In February, this outfit used Tree Spikes on my Palm just be fore the freeze and now the tree is most likely dead and still bleeding from the wounds of the spikes! NO. Spoke with Hector in great detail regarding work to be done and was given a reasonable quote. I authorized work and asked to let me know when the work could be scheduled. Total surprise on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. - as several men go directly to my backyard with tools in hand. They did not even knock first to introduce themselves. What if I had not been home? Hector was not with them and the workers did not know what to do. An hour and half was wasted arguing, investigating, and repeatedly explaining what needed to be done. One instruction: stay on my property with all work and drainage, do not disturb or damage neighbors yard. Neighbor's yard was dug up and left damaged unnecessarily. My pool equipment area had a clean rock path; this was dug up and left as chunks of mud & rock - total disaster. Overall, the drainage pipe was installed and does work, but they ignored instructions, left plenty of unsightly damage behind, and left in a hurry without cleaning up properly.
