Great service for fresh fish and seafood. Can accommodate large orders in advance. Parking can be difficult in the small very busy plaza.

Loved it. Busy, great service. Seemed fresh. No complaints from dinner provided to friends. Definitely a go to along with H & C.

So as a grocery store, I would say 3.5 stars and as an eatery, I would say 4.5 stars so let's call…read morethat an even 4 stars for El Molino. Grocery: I love how the place is so fresh and modern with cool displays like the orange trees when you walk in the door, but every time I walk around to shop, I don't end up finding much that I need. Usually at cultural grocery stores, I find some unique selections of things I can't find elsewhere as well as great prices on things that are more common. While I do find some great hot sauces and some other items, I feel that the standard items are higher priced than most grocery stores. For that reason, I only end up purchasing a few select items from the grocery area. Eatery: I love going in for tacos or a platter. I need to try some of the other items too. It's great that there are so many options, but it's also like a food court and you need to go to different places for different things. Until you've been a few times, you kinda have to figure it out for yourself. The food is always great though. I have a few tacos that I haven't loved, but I just don't order those ones when I go back. As of now it's set up great for getting food to go and then they have a bunch of tables if you want to dine in. It would be great if they added some more atmosphere to the dining experience like their taqueria in Johns Island.

Best seafood boil in North Charleston BY FAR!…read more I had literally the most incredible service . The daiquiri's SLAPPED (I recommend a watermelon daq) and I got a half pound of shrimp, crawfish, and black mussels with the full assortment of sauces and spices). To. Die. For! For real. The vibe is like family, it's fun and vibrant, they have a huge fish tank (like come through aquarium!) and they come prepared with a little throwaway bucket, plastic gloves, and wet wipes. Also thank you to Michael for getting my LIFE together mama. I will come back to charleston literally just for this place.

Weird place to review. It definitely needs a refresh on the outside and the parking lot. Inside…read morelooked fine. I was told to seat myself at the bar, I guess because I was by myself, but instead of the bartender taking my order like is normal when you are seated at the bar, a server came by and stood next to me to take my order and explain the menu. I ordered the Weekend Special (it's call that, but you can order it at any time, same for the other specials), hush puppies, and sausage. One thing very different here is they cook the food in a plastic bag with a sauce mixed in, so you pick a sauce at the time of order. Service was fast and friendly. I don't want to get anyone in trouble by going into detail, but some of the people behind the bar were pretty unprofessional. Not to me directly or to customers, but the conversations employees were having should have been done somewhere not in front of customers. Hush puppies were both sweet and savory which I like. Shrimp, potatoes, and crab came out done well. Lobster tail was tough and rubbery. The sausage was fine, tasted like Hillshire Farms or an equivalent which is fairly meh to me but I know lots of folks like that. I really did not care for the food being cooked in the sauce. I had some in Cajun and some in garlic and butter, and it was just too heavy for me. I really just like me seafood bare and dip it in some melted butter and lemon pretty lightly, so having a few cups of sauce in each bag of food was just way too much for my tastes. This is a personal preference thing so I am not knocking stats for it, but I didn't care for this style (plus it was super messy), and I don't want all the extra calories from a sauce. Price was pretty good for the amount of food I had. J.Ja
