I could write a glowing review on the cleanliness, professionalism and overall impeccable style of this place, but what I want to focus on is the value of being listened to. I am on the autism spectrum. I'm overwhelmed easily and salon chatter makes me uncomfortable. I feel like I have to overshare my personal life and all the questions are a root for anxiety. Calling to set up an appointment I was honest with the stylist on the phone. I had little idea of what I wanted but knew my long hair had to go. They assured me it wasn't a problem. I came in for my appointment to meet an absolute cherub, McKenna. I told her a rough idea of what I wanted and she patiently provided styling options and explained my face shape and what would look nice. I told her I trusted her, and was not a big fan of salon chatter. She was wonderful, she asked just enough questions to get rolling and then let me relax. She took time to explain how she was styling my hair, and what tools she was using so I could replicate it at home. I'm getting emotional writing this, I cannot tell you how much this meant to me. I have never in my life had a relaxing haircut until I met McKenna. I cannot say enough about her professionalism, empathy, and talent. I hope her manager reads this, I know she feels appreciated because she spoke highly of the business and her leadership. Thank you for a safe space, thank you for McKenna. read more

Lady was nice but I had a late appointment and it seemed like she was just hurrying to leave. My haircut was nothing like I explained, face framed with layers for volume. she just cut it shorter, straight across.. actually pretty painful. My hair was constantly being yanked and ripped. Pretty sure this haircut was not healthy for my hair in that regard. Spent 75$ on a bad experience. read more

I made a reservation online, through vagaro.com, a few days before getting to Phoenix and got to the salon 5 mins before my appt. Leah was ready for me. She was very nice and she did an excellent job with my highlights and cut. I love the way the salon looks. It's very clean and welcoming. I have such a difficult time finding someone who does highlights well. There have been several times that my highlights came out too light. Leah asked me questions about what I was looking for and she really did a great job. My hair was unevenly cut and a bit choppy when I went in for my appt. She fixed everything. I absolutely recommend Leah for highlights and a haircut! I also picked up one of their tee shirts while I was there. It was cute and great quality. read more

Three underwhelming haircuts in a row. I gave up. I used to go to Rachel, who moved on from this salon. But it's close to my house, so I gave it another try. The first hair stylist smelled of cigarette smoke and barely spoke. The next time I went in I got Leah. She was much more friendly, but no matter how I said it, she wouldn't cut my hair short enough for the shape to last more than a week or so. I found a different salon. read more

They shouldn't even have one star. I went to this salon to get my hair done. I just wanted to have my hair dyed back to a dirty blonde and the lady ended up stripping my hair color and then dyeing it literally to almost black. I went home crying and trying to wash out the color as much as possible. They are way over priced and they don't do a great job. The lady that was doing my hair didn't know what she was doing so she kept on saying, "sorry I messed up we are going to have to try this instead but it's going to be another $40. Are you serious?!?! If you mess up my hair you fix it with no other charges!! I ended up spending $160 on everything for my hair and it was terrible. Never going back. read more
