Terrible customer service. People who lack maturity w attitude should not work in the people service industry. I walked in abt 15 mins before close to pick up a dress and belt. The entire time, their young staff were just talking abt closing the store already, which customer is going to mess up their 'cute racks", complaining abt having to work the following day (and the day after that..). As I walked out, the guy tells me "don't forget to use the right door". Business need to realize that when people are shopping and spending money on their day off -- I just want to shop in peace; drama and attitude free. Conversations between co workers may not seem like a big deal -- but save that for happy hour!! read more

This particular store location is huge - and all they carry are women's stuff. Nothing for males. BOO I'd love to sit in on one of the H&M headquarters' board meetings to see exactly what the hell goes through the planning directors' heads when they decide to open a brand new location....only for women. Why would you do that? This isn't the only location I've found to be be female-only, too. I'm no business/marketing major, but I'm pretty sure catering to BOTH sexes will draw in more revenue since you are selling a larger variety of items. Guys who are stylish know that H&M is a staple store. Men's fashion has revolutionized greatly the past few years (yes, I'll throw in the "metro" word if you'd like), and guys now know that it's important to up their game with stylish shirts and versatile jackets. Funny enough, this store already has a low rating so I'm not telling anyone anything they don't know. My daughter and I went shopping for a couple outfits for a photo shoot and happened to find the perfect on a mannequin in the front of the store. The employee that helped us had to ask for help to get it off the display, but was shot by by a little man who said it could only be done weeks later by the person who dresses the mannequins. Luckily, the person helping us (darn I can't remember her name) didn't take that bozos answer and got a higher up to help us out. The best part was the little man had to check us out and he was utterly bothered to check us out! Here's 5 stars to the employees who didn't take no for an answer and helped us out!!!! read more

12 min before closing and the line to pay was nearly out the door and only 2 registers were open and employees were folding clothes like no one was waiting in line. Whatever happened to doing your folding... closing store prep AFTER the store closes? Horrible!!! read more

I came here to buy my daughter some items for her high school graduation. I don't usually shop here but they do have nice items for a great price. However customer service is beyond terrible. I know I shouldn't expect much but I do not expect to be talked down to by a young girl as if she's Ms High and Mighty with life experiences that normal people could only dream about. EXCUSE ME? If you were that amazing and great why don't you get a better job? Sorry but you work in customer service so please try to act like it....just a little. I'm not asking you to serve me, but a nice smile and a thank you would be appreciated. And if I ask a question don't just roll your eyes at me and then make it seem like it is taking too much of your energy to answer! Ugh! Nice selection of Men's and Women's for a smaller store. The store is usually very well kept, cleanly merchandised, and customer service has been top notch! I'm not sure what other reviewers experienced as it's always been very pleasurable to shop here. To belittle customer service workers in general seems to be a little hypocritical when accusing them of being "high and mighty" themselves! read more

Clean store, selection seems SLIGHTLY less than other stores (say, at the Brea Mall) but I think that's mostly because the store itself is slightly smaller. Seems like there is a good stock of sizes, always plus points. Kept very clean, was not approached by sales associates, workers aren't extremely friendly but I wasn't looking for help and therefore wasn't a big deal to me (usually never is). read more

H & M is one of my Moms favorite stores to go to but I'm always hesitant on going in because it's of the messiness and poor quality of the clothes. I was pleasantly surprised to find this store very clean with helpful employees and good quality items. Happy with my visit! read more

My friend and I went to this mall from a far because there aren't that many stores open in our area. We were approached at this H&M when we were about to walk in thru the wrong door which we had no idea because the door was open. The security came and pointed to the correct door to enter and right when we were going to enter he pointed to a sand which sign and said "read the rules before coming in" and we glanced over and he said again "read the rules before coming in" mind you we were already wearing our masks even when we were walking outside. And it was a bit too aggressive for our taste. So we just left and didn't go inside. We are all trying to keep it safe. It's not like he was approaching some "karens". It was rude. We did see other people go in after us and he wasn't scandalous about them reading his sign. I didn't appreciate that. read more

BEWARE STAFF EXTREMELY RUDE FROM CASHIERS TO SUPERVISORS. No consideration for how long I had waited...Politely asked to get additional help. Different reasons why but ultimately NO. Told to go downstairs. Once downstairs politely asked, Sir can you get additional cashiers. I was waiting upstairs 20 minutes. He called on walkie talkie upstairs and was told no line. Went upstairs and the Cashier would not wait on me. I had to wait for supervisor who talked to her employee and then Never offered me an apology. As I exited, there were now two cashiers downstairs. WHAT? My background includes 7 years retail and I would never treat customers as such. Currently I am a back office manager for a busy clinic...We go out of our way to make patients feel special. I am extremely sad that at this Victoria Gardens store this is their culture for customers. SAD... oh, FYI, 30 mintues to pay on a Sunday at 11 :15 am!!! read more

Worst Customer Service, shameful, absolutely shameful.. Who the hell does the hiring?? Please recruit people with some standard of professionalism. I came into the store with my mother and dog. We were browsing around the store for about 20 minutes. Not one employee greeted us, or offered to help. Customers we're very polite, children we're petting our dog because it was obviously a gentle friendly dog. Then this rude ass employee, wearing an awful colored yellow sweater, bob dull hair cut that had awful style tried to kick us out and asked rudely "Is it a service dog?," She was lucky my mother was with me and I didn't go off on her. Victoria Garden's is known to be a dog friendly environment and we we're not in a food establishment. I went to the counter to pay for my item that I needed.. trust me if I didn't need it I would have left. I asked the girl at the counter what was their policy on dogs and she stated that their store was dog friendly. When I told her what happened, she just laughed. What an imbecile. Please whoever manages the store train your employees better, I know you can't teach common sense. But the people working this afternoon, 3/13/18, we're completely rude, nasty and lacked courtesy and should be re- evaluated. Will not shop at this H&M again. read more

Awe man! Why you do dis. You took down your store when I wanted to go the most. Maybe your remodeling or something but I love this store. For men, looking for a good quality with great pricing for shirts this is a great place. Although, it is mainly for women it still has a good quantity. Was looking for work clothes everywhere I'm pretty petite and this is the only place I found multiple items the fit really well. The remodeled store is clean and well stocked. I will be shopping here for my work clothes needs. Also my husband loves shopping here for men's clothes. read more

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would have in no time. Most ridiculous return policy for not giving store credit. I mean both the things had tags on them and all I'm asking is to give me store credit. They have the dumbest policy of not giving store credit and you can only do an exchange. So, basically if I can't find anything same day- I just have to keep coming back every time and that's what exactly the cashier and the manager told me (9 months pregnant lady). Sorry, but I don't think anyone has that kind of time to waste and moreover you're asking a 9 months pregnant lady to come back in this time when people are worried about getting covid. Manager couldn't even make an exception and I told her I'm 9 months pregnant and can't do this everyday. I personally think manager could have made the exception. I would never shop from a place that has no humanity. So, never buy anything from H&M unless you have nothing else to do because clearly to them their customers have nothing better to do. read more
