Within about five minutes, my friend and I were asked three separate times if we needed assistance. They also kept pretending to straighten merchandise and put items back on shelves right next to me while watching us. It was obvious what they were doing. My friend and I got so irritated that we just left without buying anything. It was clear we weren't welcome there. It's sad because I used to come here all the time in high school and throughout my 20s. I don't know what happened to this place, but they clearly racially profile their customers. You would think a store that sells so many products promoting inclusion and progressive values, especially in such a liberal city, would hold itself to the same standard. I looked all over the store and found only 6 new pieces for summer out of the entire store and none were even on sale. I thought they had more clothes that fit my style but I guess my style is a bit fancier or flasher now. I prefer original looks that flatter me and my curves. I wish they had more new styles on sale. For value: always check their website to see if it's cheaper there (it's frequently 40% off or more), and then if it is, price match it in store (which they are happy to do). Other than that, the clearance is usually some great deals, but the normal price on the tag feels high without a sale. Instead, the female employee told me all the sizes were out and that was it, so then I asked her if she can move the rack of clothes that she was stocking to be moved aside so I can be closer to be able to grab the jackets from the shelves up high. The male was rude and so was manager of the store, Staci. Staci was extremely unprofessional and rude considering she told me directly that it's a matter of how I speak to the employees, when I was not being rude at all. I was letting them know that if a customer needs assistance, then they should be aware of the situation and be courteous. Once I asked for her name before I left, she told me her name with a smirk and said to go ahead and report her. I hope the GM of this location addresses Staci's terrible behavior as well as her male coworker that also worked at the cash register with her and rectifies this problem. I would advise against visiting this location unless you want to be talked down to. I hope no one has to experience this type of bad behavior and poor customer service from the employees of this location.
