Best grocery store ever. If you need anything, one of the managers will do whatever they can to get it for you. The staff is always "Austin nice" and the place is clean, well organized and properly staffed. If we had to move, I'd probably miss this store as much as anything else. read more

My 9 year old son had a fractured arm and was in a lot of pain. We first tried to get his prescription at Walgreen's and they said it would be an hour and a half! We went to this HEB pharmacy and they did everything they could to get the order done quickly. My son had not eaten because of all the time spent at the hospital. The pharmacist (I wish we could remember her name - Jessica or Danielle?) gave my son some of her own pretzels. She went the extra mile for a distressed little boy and we really appreciate their personalized care. Even other customers were talking about what a great person she is and how much she cares. Ok, so maybe I used to work here but thats not why I give it a 5 star review. The customer service is excellent at this store, and it is small enough for the employees to recognize you when u come in to shop. I worked in the pharmacy, and I think I used to scare people when I already knew their name! Maybe the only stipulation is that the milk is clear on the rear-end of the store and bread is up front...but how else are you going to get someone to walk past all the other goodies? read more

I'm giving this HEB a high rating because of the staff. I've lived in this area for 16 years and this store has kept many of the same employees. This tells me something about how well it's managed. Everyone there is friendly, some are a bit quirky but I always feel people there are genuine!! read more

Someone with a too large of a car parked next to me so I could not get into my car. They parked a quarter of the way in my parking spot. I went into the store to see if they could page the owner, Vicki a manager asked if I needed help. I told her my situation. Vicki and Jason (an employee) went outside to see if they could help. They did. They went beyond their job duties and was able to get my car out so I could leave. Needless to say I was very upset when I couldn't leave and very thankful after Vicki and Jason helped me, so I could leave. Thank you Vicki and Jason!!! read more

This is about the car wash. the "laser" car wash. What a waste of money. You could actually sit in that car wash all day long with the laser car wash and the dirt will still be on your car. I should kick myself. It was a little better with the brushes, but it never got all the surface. read more

There's one guy on the meat/steaks counter etc that needs to be reassigned to the warehouse part of this store. He looks grumpy all the time and in fact looks like he might tell you off if you ask him for something incorrectly! Management...you know who I am talking about I'm sure. Take care of it. On Saturday, January 12,2019, I went to pick up my daughters cake. It was the ugliest looking thing I had ever seen with almost little to no effort put into it. I originally took a piece of artwork that I wanted transferred into the cake, but H-E-B told me they couldn't use Copyrighted material (which I totally understand), but this WAS not copywrited work. I printed the page from the website that is like 6 pages long detailing all the things that people can do with the art. HEB refuses to hear me. I know how a message back from the company say I CAN use the art on the cake. 2nd, this cake was UGLYT. Their cake decorators needs some serious training. The frosting tastes like crap, and we are pretty sure that whatever was in the cake made my entire family as well as any kids who at the case sick for a few days (I'm talking about diarrhea and vomiting? The only reason I paid for the cake is because my daughter's party was starting in 45 mins. Otherwise I would have laughed and walk out. read more

I know this is an older HEB and not as spacious as the newer stores, but everytime I go in this store, I find exactly what I need AND feel like I'm part of 'small town.' The cashiers call me 'darling', the baggers always ask if I need help, the workers talk to my kids like real people, AND I get great dealson my groceries. Recently, I lost my wallet (left in a cart) and it was turned in w/o any problems. Not sure what sterilized, androgynous, big box store you are shopping at, but I highly recommend this HEB. read more

The manager was so rude!! Their plastic bag was broken so I dropped my instant coffee jar and broke it. I put all evidences in the BETTER plastic bag (which was NOT a HEB bag), and showed it to her. Her first word was " This is not our bag". Stupid. How could I bring broken glass jar using a broken bag! She should have listened me first. She said sorry at the end but she didn't look sorry at all. read more

I went in for just a couple of weekly items on my way home from work. All of the staff that I met and spoke to were friendly and very upbeat. I was not sure what product to buy for a blister (huge). I went over to the consulting window....The sweet lady-I forgot to get her name- had the perfect lotion, Medihomey. It regrows my skin from the inside out. She suggested changing the dressing every day. I found her very knowledgeable. I'm using the method to heal my huge blister. Thanks for going above and beyond for me today! John G 10/12/16 read more

I do not live near the store, but live in another state. I have been there and found the store to be clean and organized. My wife purchased 27 dollars in gas at the store and after the 27 dollars was paid by the bank, I found that they had an additional $100 dollars in the process of being withdrawn via a "pre-authorized debit hold". I alerted my bank. Don't know how that is happening, but hope it is not a common practice. I am sure that some people might overlook it. If you go to this store, and use a debit card, be sure to follow up. read more

I have been going to the 1431/183 HEB for 27 years....all my time in Texas. Nothing but good people, product selection and the right size. Bakery, Pharmacy...oh just all departments are just fine. I like the little kids shopping with their parents....and I often play Santa Claus, [or his father or his brother] and chat up the little kids and give them a buck. I live closer to the Leander HEB & shop there more often. But sometimes I make a special trip to the Cedar Park HEB to check out their great specials--they always have special items on sale that the other HEBs never get. It's a friendly little store & I can even find vacuum cleaner bags there! Even though they don't have a full-fledged Texas Back Yard, they still have a lot of nice plants. Sometimes I even go there because I can't trust myself at the Texas Back Yard in Leander--fewer flowers to seduce me! I usually come out of this one laden with sausages & cheeses & various lunchmeats. read more

Usually have a great experience at this location, but I've also never had a issue that needing resolving. Well, today we were shopping and the deli didn't zip the bag of sliced turkey we bought or the cashier wasn't careful and ripped the bag while checking, the lunch meat fell out of the bag the bagger actually asked us if we still wanted it...no thanks! Then about 3 different people (including the manager) asked if we wanted it replaced and we said yes. The cashier then removed it off our total and said because it could vary in weight they can't have us pre pay. I said "well, we got 1 lb so the amount should be about the same. If it's a little more I don't care. And if it's a little less y'all shouldn't care" I mean, we'd be talking cents here. They continued to say they couldn't. And the bagger kept saying "it will be quick don't worry!" And I said "but we have to wait to get it re-sliced and your going to make us get back in line again." I told the manager I thought it was crazy we couldn't pay for it and that we have to get back in line again. She said that wasn't supposed to happen and she'll see if she can open a line when it's ready. After 10 minutes we decided to just leave because our kiddo was starting to fuss. At that point, just let us have the 1 lb of turkey since 1. The bag wasn't zipped/cashier wasn't careful and 2. We were supposed to pay for it with our other things. So frustrating. read more

this store in discussing, all there produce is warm and rotten, i got a big watermelon from there brought it home and cut it open, it was all mushy inside, and was leaking all over my kitchen, they leave all these watermelon outside in big boxes, and some inside in front of the doors that open all the time so basically not refrigerated EVER, they are saying we have a food shortage, what is going on are they stupid, i went in there one day in the middle of the store by the bakery a whole table full of big strawberries, all with tons of mold on them, its made me sick, the waist there have there, they were selling them at 6.99 a box of around 10 or 12 in a box now all molding in front of everyone going by, i told them about it and they took them out, but they could of not had this happen if they knew what they were doing, handling there food in that heb store, i have been to allot of the heb stores and they are all doing the same thing with these watermelon. the milk, and yogurt ,are the same was not cold at all, i have gotten some from that same store, all spoiled then i got some candy from them that was suppose to be soft, it was so hard i could not eat it, i them look at the box to find it expired on 3-1-07 can you believe they sell stuff over a year and a half old. this store as well as the people that work here are all stupid they have no idea how to handle or sell food to us stay away from here unless you want food poisoning. avoid dairy, fruits, veggies, and some candy,. hope this is helpful. address is 170 e whitestone cedar park texas 78613 read more
