Customer service is no longer in existence at this pharmacy. The lady working the counter was refusing to assist an old lady without any empathy, compassion or effort when I arrived. Stone faced she repeated the same I'm not going to help you at all line to this elderly woman until she left almost in tears. Heartbreaking. She then instructed the guy who was trying to help me not to make any effort to help when he wanted to. I was told he is a trainee so they are actually training the goodness out of their new people. The store manager was abrasive with me when I asked her for help. So just don't expect any humanity or efficiency at this store. read more

I've always had good experiences at this CVS location. I primarily visit the pharmacy which has a convenient drive through option. Lines can get long at peak hours but moves fairly quickly. They are prompt about calling back regarding prescription updates and questions. There is also a minute clinic at this location, which I haven't visited. Pharmacy and store staff here are always respectful, helpful and patient. read more

This CVS Pharmacy is efficient & extremely patient. I now when I come in, I am often in a lot of pain and can be a bit short SOMETIMES but always respectful. But in the few times, I have been like that, they have always been kind & understanding. Honestly, I am NOTHING compared to the disrespect of some customers to each other & the pharmacists. Amazed they keep a smile with the chaos caused my customers. I would recommend you skip going inside & do drive thru if your product can be purchased there & certainly for meds. The CVS store manager, Daysha is short tempered and raised her voice while we were discussing a simple transaction. Beware!! The manager will blow up at you for asking a simple question. I'm surprised how Daysha (not sure how her name is spelled) even got the position of a manager?! The cashier apologized to me for their mistake but the manager was a nightmare. It is evident to me that CVS Pharmacy is unwilling to speak to CVS Caremark at this location. Every day I have called there is a different story as to why my medication cannot be refilled, ranging from "you just ordered it from Amazon" which was ridiculous because I haven't used Amazon in over a year. Another one was "your coupon expired" on a brand new never been used before coupon. Finally to "you can only get your monthly medication every 63 days." CVS Caremark says all the above are incorrect, there is a manual override that CVS Caremark needs to complete. This location has an attitude of "not my problem" instead of providing any reasonable answers or assistance. read more

I've been a customer at this location for years and seen it slowly decline further and further. You cannot get a person at the pharmacy to speak to. It's all automated. Even when you go online and send a message asking for a return call they refuse to call you back. Even when you leave a verbal voicemail asking for a return call with an ETA of when your prescriptions could be filled that are out of stock they refuse to call you back. They just won't communicate. I finally gave up and had to transfer all of my prescriptions somewhere else where I could actually get them filled. read more

This place is a SCAM. If I could give them negative stars, I would do that. I tried making a COVID appointment online and entered my insurance details. Unlike Walgreen, which tells you the COVID testing price upfront, CVS does not tell you anything. After making the appointment, I tried calling the store just to double check on price but no luck. Lady on call told me that we'll let you know when you come onsite. So I went to CVS next morning and found there was no one in the minute clinic. I went to the pharmacy counter and lady mentioned only minutes clinic can tell you that. I have checked in already but nobody was there for me to help me with price information so I waited. Soon, my name was called in and nurse asked to come inside room. I provided all my health insurance information and asked how much price I have to pay for COVID test. Nurse told me since you are with Aetna, you don't have to pay anything. I asked again, are you sure that's with my insurance as well? She said yeah, max there will be a co-pay and we won't be able to tell you price till the end of visit. I was ok in paying the co-pay. So I provide all additional health details and she took the sample. She automatically pulled a flu test kit and said since your symptoms are flu like as well, I would like to do a flu testing on this. Now, I was not asked this, she already put the sample in flu kit without even my consent. Even then when I asked about price, she said don't worry it will be covered through insurance. Test came positive and she told me few over the counter medicine names. Now, she comes back and tell me this will be $350 and since you are in a high deductible plan, most likely you will have to pay for it. And upon asking the breakdown of $350, she said $100 is for in person office visit, flu shot is not much, it's only 50 dollars. And that's where I knew it was a scam and they are just trying to make money. How do you decide whether $50 is a lot or it's "just". The nurse wasn't even wearing gloves a single time, not even when was taking sample. She kept big nails and I definitely didn't feel very hygiene about it. I wish CVS had put some discipline for professionals. Summary: don't go to CVS for anything. COVID test for sure. Even the prices of all the medicine are way higher than target or any other stores. Plus they don't do the price match. Ofcourse, that's how they like to make money. read more

Firstly, the staff REGULARLY follows you around like you're a thief, it happens to both my roommate and I separately and has happened on a handful of occasions. Secondly, store manager Shanda Pena should be fired, she kept asking my friend every ten seconds if he needed help, following him when shopping, then, I went to do the buy 3 covergirl products get $10 ecb deal, and she lied about coupon policy when I told her I didn't get the ecb, and refused when refunding me the purchase to give me my coupon back, meaning that CVS is making $4 off of my manufacturer coupon while I am getting nothing. read more

Worst CVS pharmacy and techs. I have been fighting with them for over a week to get my medicine refilled. My doctor confirmed several times the prescription was sent. Each time I went to pick up they had a different reason it wasn't ready and sent me to my insurance. Worst service ever! I came today to have some photos for the passport. It took two cashiers and 6 times to take me the photo because the system failed. After that, they gave me the photos and they were totally blurry. When I say that to the cashier, they called the manager and I was completely in shock when she told me that they were not blurry! Of course, I didn't got them. Instead I went to the Wallgreens in front of this CVS and they took me the photo perfectly because they used a TRIPOD. I will not shop at this CVS again. I would give them a zero star if I could. We walked in about 5 minutes before closing and we were promptly warned that they close in 4 minutes. Then we were given a 2 minute warning and then again when they closed. We were rushed beyond belief and ended up not purchasing anything because of the pressure. We walked toward the door to exit and I asked was it normal for them to kick customers out and the employee said yes because we close at 10:00. I have filled my prescriptions here for over 15 yrs. The service has been horrible since the original pharmacy mgr retired. The final straw was yesterday when i went in to pick up an RX. The Pharmacist tells me they dont take my Blue cross insurance, the same one ive been using all year. She was very cold and mean about it. i then went home and contacted Blue Cross and they said my insurance is still taken by CVS just like it has been. i transferred my business to HEB ,and they were happy to take my insurance. This is in regards to the Minute Clinic. Consumer be wary.. You'll likely wait at least an hour to be seen. Most of the healthcare workers are nice although don't be surprised to experience unprofessionalism, misinformation, and miscommunication. They practice personal policies as opposed to standard of care, while tacking on extra fees for basic procedures. Example, I have gone here the past 2 years for my TB test and read. I need this to enter hospitals for my job. Last year, I waited and waited for the nurse. After asking pharmacy where she might be, they said she left for the day and forgot to give notice on the clinic door. Lovely. This year, a nurse documented my TB injection time incorrectly. She stated 1025a, the nurse to read the injection stated 933a (per computer). Therefore, I signed in at 9a. After waiting an hour for the read, the nurse would not read my TB test. While I was waiting, my 72 hour window had expired, according to her. Your care varies depending on who's behind that door. Not to mention paying $50 for a TB screen?! Nice. read more

Most of the time, the staff here at this CVS are great, but today I had the bad luck to deal with awful incompetence and rudeness. I called the pharmacy earlier today to see if I could pay for my child's prescription over the phone. They directed me to the CVS app for payment, which did not work because, as it turned out, the pharmacy had made a mistake in the data entry on my CVS account. An HOUR of redirected phone calls and being put on hold later, the customer service rep finally says I need to call the pharmacy to fix it. I call the pharmacy back, and Julie (I see her name mentioned in other reviews too), the pharmacy person, says she won't fix it unless I come into the store... just before they were due to close. I haul my sick child out of bed and make it there with 10 min to spare. The pharmacy person just shrugs her shoulders and rolls her eyes at me while she corrects the information in the system and gives me the prescriptions. Unbelievable that such people work with medicine and do not understand that it is sometimes urgent, and it is not ok to give people the runaround. read more

Always a great "hello" when you visit and always what you need in a pinch. I go here almost weekly for my meds now that my health coverage is accepted here (vs. not at Walgreens) and the staff is always able to greet you with a smile and assistance. Josh at the Pharmacy counter remembers me and does not slack on his professionalism just because of that. Most recently they showed their wherewithal when the AT&T connections to their servers was lost. That meant, no Text messages, no online orders, no emails to/from doctors, it was a REALLY rough time for them... ...despite all of the hardships, they manually faxed/called/contacted who they could to get your prescription processed to another local CVS and have it fulfilled. Some people did not understand this, but I guess they have never had things out of their control happen, have they? Frankly, they probably have, but were too proud to understand the issue and it was easier for them to make "drama." Over all this CVS has had what I need, when I needed it, and many other things that I didn't know I needed. The staff is always courteous, the store is clean and well organized, everything you need is here for you. read more

It is rare here in Austin to have a less than fabulous experience, and my experience at this CVS pharmacy was definitely less than fabulous. Poor customer service from the pharmacy! My doctor increased the dosage on a medication, but this pharmacy will not delete the old one and continues to fill the older one even though it has been superseded. My wife picked up my refill a week ago but did not realize the description had changed a year ago. I attempted to return/exchange it today, but they would not allow it. I told them at the time of he new dosage was prescribed to delete the older one. How can a pharmacy fill the same meds with different dosages and different refill dates? The pharmacist was rude, arrogant, and was not interested in providing good customer service. This is not only a burden on me, filling multiple prescription for the same meds is wasteful and creates additional costs for my insurance company. read more

This CVS seems a bit small to me, but that's okay. My primary concern was getting multiple RX filled. I went on two different occasion and both times had to communicate with Kyle. I swear this young man hated his job and it shows. He will never smile, he will give incorrect information too. That actual pharmacist is lovely. Customer service is trash especially when being supposedly "helped" by a worker named Kyle. I've been waiting for my prescription for over 2 weeks and when I called to resolve the issue douche bag Kyle was no help, he constantly restated the same information about how it's an issue at the doctors office even though I had called them prior to CVS and they said they had already approved and sent the paper work and authorization off.
