The energy is always so welcoming, and the employees are genuinely kind and helpful every single visit. I could honestly spend hours walking every aisle because there's always something new to discover. From unique snacks to frozen meals that actually taste homemade, everything feels thoughtfully picked out and affordable too. Trader Joe's makes grocery shopping feel exciting instead of stressful, and that's rare these days. I live much closer to the Trader Joe's location on Walter Seaholm. But, it's a nightmare with…read moreparking, traffic (inside and outside of the store), etc. We have a monthly trip to TJ's for all of our faves (Speculoos all-day, everyday...cookies, cookie butter, & ice cream---give me everything Speculoos). We buy certain seasonings and oils only from TJ's as well as cheese and other items. If I list them all, you'll get bored. I absolutely never leave Trader Joe's without fresh flowers for our apartment. It's a TJ ritual that dates back more than a decade for me. Heck, way back in the day (over a decade) when visiting friends in L.A., I would always get flowers for their places from TJ. Anyway, back to the reason you're reading this-you want to know my thoughts on the location and nothing more. So, as I mentioned I don't like the other store for reasons of chaos. This store gets super busy too but parking is much better since there's a decent lot. It's easy to navigate through the store and get to all our favorite things. Service is always typical TJ friendly. Happy and with smiles. Products and shelves are always in stock and filled. Extremely clean store. It's worth the drive out of the city to the 'burbs for this store location.

Quick grocery run for vitamins (late night visit...almost no people...quiet environment) ...I was…read moreout of multi-vitamins and fish oil vitamins. The good news was they were having a sale. I had been taking another popular brand and found to be ineffective. Whole Foods has a plethora vitamins and you can literally be at the store for hours combing through their portfolio of vitamins. Recently, I went to a gym seminar, which highlighted vitamin usage and some of things to look for. According to the seminar leader, If a vitamin is third‑party tested, clearly labeled, reasonably dosed, and recommended for a specific need, you are on the right track. The vitamin I had been taking for years was only absorbing into my body about 20%. My final selection was Nature's Way Alive. I still have not settled on a fish oil supplement. The downside of shopping at Sam's during peak hours is the store swarming with people, long lines and having to pack your purchased items in random boxes. I was searching for one item and one item only...a case of Topo Chico sparkling mineral water, which is bottled in Monterrey, Mexico. It is known for its crisp carbonation and distinctive mineral profile. Topo Chico appears unique to the South, I believe, a I have not seen it anywhere else. Topo Chico is fan favorite in Texas especially. As the story goes, the water's origin is tied to a legend involving the daughter of Emperor Moctezuma, who was said to have been totally revitalized after drinking from the spring at Cerro del Topo Chico. I grabbed by water, paid and out I went.

What you'll find is amazing selection of meats, all sorts of fresh cheese's, and a surprising assortment of seafood! Today live Blue Crab was $7.99 / lb. Absolutely amazing. The produce has a wide variety you won't find at other stores...with things such as banana leafs used for steaming. ...did I mention fresh tamales?
