I am here every other day. The pink grapefruit sparkling water is my addiction. I bought the peach bellini version for my kids yesterday. They are in love. It tasted like a dessert. These are the Italian Sodas they sell. The place is always clean and organized. I live closer to Kroger, but I drive the extra few minutes here. Staff is usually helpful. Sometimes it is packed, nothing unusual. I will probably be there today. We went yesterday. I got the items to make ground brisket tacos. They came out great. read more

Curbside very bad customer service and employee very rude and not helpful at all they don't deserve even one star for there services as they are always late of giving us our orders and when we asked them they just ignore the customer. This locations is great for the simple fact it's next to my gym . I can stop here for whatever I need and go about day . The staff is very helpful and they keep the store clean . I love my poke bowls! I'm originally from California and these poke bowls just taste like being back home. I have to complement the Sushi department. I remember shopping and ordering 2 of these bowls one busy early afternoon with a girlfriend of mine with her 3 kids and my little one too. So we had handfuls. The kind chef by the name of Kia found us in the store with our kids and brought the bowls she made to us! We probably would of forgotten to nick then back up too. HEB seems to be "The Grocery Store" of Texas and there is some solid validity to this. The HEBs that I have shopped in are clean, well laid out, have most of what I am looking for and have a helpful group of employees. There are some variations in the products the stores carry and this is determined by location. As with any multiple location stores there are ones I favor over others. When it comes to the HEBs, I tend to be partial to this location. Why? For one, I find it to be less crowded than other nearby HEBs. Crowded grocery stores are high on my list of dislikes. I don't want to play "find my way through the maze of people in the aisles" because they can't move their carts out of the way. I don't want to have to fight my way through ten people having a staring contest in the cereal aisle while they try to figure costs, etc. I want good variety. I want organics. I want quality. I want clean. So far this HEB has passed in all these areas. The produce section is very good and fresh. If I can't find my organic Italian parsley or basil at Whole Foods, I know I can find it here. Same goes for my Horizon half and half. The prices are good at HEB and I feel like I get my money's worth. I'm very picky about buying good brands but I will buy some of the HEB brand foods at times. One example is the Bakeshop Walnut Multigrain bread and other whole grain breads. Good quality and taste. The Sushi Ya sushi sold here is also very good and great in price. And how could I not LOVE a grocery that carries my beloved Tasty Kakes? They are not normally found outside of the East coast so that was a happy discovery for me! As far as the parking lot, I always manage to find good parking spots and it's easy to enter and exit the parking lot without a lot of annoyances or other cars in my way. Since Gerland's Grand Market closed this HEB has become my go to store for a quick grab on items. When I'm not at Whole Foods, I'm here. A few more miles in distance? Yes, but for a store that has quality and no aggravations it's well worth it. I'm happy. read more

I had more issues with HEB about a month ago and started using Krogers on Sweetwater Blvd more. Today I went back to HEB to see if they had changed. I went to the meat counter and asked for some lamb chops in the case. he put them on the scale and printed out the slip, put it on the wrapped chops and I saw that it was for $7.47/lb instead of $6.99/lb. I asked him to reweigh it with the correct price. He questioned that he had it wrong but the big tag on the front of the meat had $6.99. He put it back on the scale with the correct price and gave it back to me. I asked him if he was selling brown paper for $6.99? He left it wrapped up when he reweighed it. I can't eat paper so he was overcharging me like putting his thumb on the scale. He made a face and took it back and unwrapped it, printed a third label and gave it back to me. He said "I guess every penny counts". It was 25 cents cheaper without the paper on, I wouldn't pay for paper, would you? I told a manager at the front of the store as I was leaving. The guy at the meat counter had cheated me not once, but twice on the same purchase. She said she would review practices with the meat department. Uh-Huh. Take one half HEB and one half Central Market and blend thoroughly. That's how you make a HEB Sienna Market. I have no beef with the Butt's Lake Colony location - it was always there for me with quality meat & produce - but Sienna wins in my household because it has more quality stuff. You can get both the fancy foodie stuff as well as the usual staples for your pantry. But when it's time to check out, that's where this store shines. If you come here on a weekend morning, it's like a NASCAR pit crew working the checkouts. A manager guides you to the closest open register and helps unload your cart if he has a moment. Baggers roam the checkouts and help each other bag the orders. (At one point two people were bagging my groceries; once they finished they dashed off to another line to help.) Everyone in the store is helpful and happy to be there, but I've never seen a checkout so efficient while the store is at its busiest. read more

This HEB is a little older and doesn't have as extensive a selection as the one where we used to live, but it has pretty much all we need. Came on a Saturday morning, and it was crowded, but not too bad-we could get around most aisles fine. Got everything we needed and staff were friendly. I am sure we will make this our new go to grocery store since we love HEB. read more

This stores customer service has gone downhill. I used to love the managers of each dept. were available and helpful. Now the employees are rude, lazy and unavailable. Yesterday I sent my husband for some "Stacey's Pita chips" and he asked an employee where they were and the employees response was "I don't see em'". I went the next morning and they were where they always were. Last week, I purchased and placed in the belt 1 gallon milk and a huge 3lb container of dog treats. They are both large enough that I know I did this as I was in a lane for 15 items. Anyhow, while I wasn't charged; I also went home without these items. The following day I went and purchased groceries and prosciutto. When I couldn't find my prosciutto I went "ape" and found my receipt. Not charged and not received again. Where do they disappear too? That's not the end of it. I noticed that I purchased two large packs of ground beef and I thought it was odd that they rang up for the same amount. So I looked at my pkgs. and NOPE different amount. Lazy employees and poor management. I won't mention the $13 magazine that I paid for and didn't receive, but threw receipt away before I realized I didn't have my mag. I repeat, LAZY read more

I love shopping at HEB but the bakery department has terrible customer service. I purchased cupcakes online for my son's birthday and there was no one greeting customers or helping customers to pick up their items. When I arrived, the bakery staff was working hard on making cakes. Several employees looked at the counter to make eye contact with me but no one offered assistance or said hello. After 5 minutes of standing at the counter, I was able to make eye contact with someone and asked for help. A partner told me to wait a minute and 5 minutes later no one was helping me with my order. It's very fustrating as a customer who has already paid to not be acknowledged or assisted. Finally, someone approached my husband and offered to help him and we got our order. I'm not sure that I would want to purchase bakery goods again from an unfriendly department. read more

I have tried 3 times to pick up a Rx at Lake Colony H‑E‑B pharmacy in Sugar Land since 9AM and I have been unable to. The prescription was ready at 10AM, but they were not able to use my insurance because the physician had called it at an incorrect pharmacy. I told them I would return bc they said they could call at that time bc the other pharmacy was open. 1:45 minutes later they still had not called so I could pick up my prescription. Now I remember why I had changed pharmacists. Since pharmacist Aparicio was transferred to another H‑E‑B the customer service is not the same at Lake Colony!! read more

This is your basic grocery store, nothing spectacular. My only complaint is that no one ever has the common courtesy to put their damn grocery carts away! This is not a problem that the store itself can help, but it is annoying. Finding a parking spot can be difficult when there are carts everywhere! And I still don't understand why people park in front of this grocery store and wait for people who are shopping. God forbid the day these grocery stores ever have an actual fire or medical emergency and all the lazy people are out there parked and blocking the "Fire Lane" Its outright embarrassing when I see someone too lazy to find a parking spot just like the rest of us! Again, not really something the grocery itself has control over, but again, another lazy customer issue. I really only come here for the wine tasting they have on weekends throughout the store! I swear, that's the main reason I come, to be a wine creep! Haha! The produce people are generally helpful when I need help finding something. I like that they do cooking demos and samples of food. They've won me over on some things by tasting stuff. read more

Not a fan of the store delivery. You pay 3% plus $5 and then there is a tip expected. The produce seemed stale or picked over and the meat didn't look the freshest. Also dairy products were not at their peak and some pantry items were near expiration. The food is not that good. Get it together or get out of the delivery business. read more

I've been to this HEB many times and it's always okay. I'm rarely excited or disappointed in it.

This HEB will always have a special place in my heart because it's so close to my home. There are usually 2 simple layouts for HEB's that I've seen, and I'm more accustomed to the layout found at this location, with the frozen foods located near the check-out lines. They offer samples throughout the store and often have cooking connections, similar to other HEB's. A big plus for me (when I used to work in retail) is that their bank is open on Sundays until 3pm! read more

This place is just depressing. I can't put my finger on it but something is just off. Every time I went I experienced an angry customer with a apathetic worker. Also do not go there now because this place is under some kind of renovation . I really hope the renovation will make this depressing place a little better. HEB is definitely a store I miss when I go to college. I love their made from scratch tortillas. They make it hot and right in front of you when you go to pick it up. The store also has fresh and a great variety of plants for you to buy and put in your front or backyard. I do wish they had more variety in their bakery section. I feel like I only have have a limited amount of choices. I love the customer service in this store as employees were always willing to help me with any questions or assistance I needed. read more

I had high hopes for this H-E-B since it's convenient to my work I decided to stop by and get my registration sticker done...let me tell you the events that unfolded on 07/31/2018, after reading threads online on how there isn't a problem if you didn't have your green registration sticker document for the state of Texas I was please...when I walked to The business center. The representative ABBAS was rude and unhelpful. He told me he couldn't do anything. I asked why not? The reviews said there wasn't a problem and the person I spoke with over the phone last night told me it was fine. Abbas began to yawn and say not my problem go figure it out and threw me a paper. Pay attention to the sign on the Gas Pump telling you they are not responsible for the Bank putting an account hold on your card for using their pumps. The Bank will immediately disable your card right there at the pump leaving you stranded until you can contact them and tell them this is not a fraudulent activity. read more

Okay so my husband and I just love H-E-B. However today I'm a little miffed. I have purchased very thinly sliced boars head Canadian Bacon 3 times. I use it for a baked egg cup and so the slices must be very thin to line the baking cups. 1/4 lb or so usually nets me 24 slices or more. This is the first and last time I will buy it at H-E-B Sienna. I went to the counter as usual and asked 1/4lb "very thinly sliced as in less than a 1" boars head Canadian bacon. This time I got home to make our usual daily breakfast for the rest of the week only to find I had 11 slices clearly at a 2 and there was no paper separating the slices. I wait too long and work too hard for this kind of subpar service at the deli counter. read more

This is the worst HEB to use the delivery service with. Our order was a hour late and no one from HEB called to let us know that the delivery service picked up the order 30 minutes late . We have had nothing but problems with the service. The store manager Hannah was of no help. After following several avenues we have decided HEB will no longer receive our orders and we will no longer spend our hard-earned money in a HEB. HEB use to be about customer service it no longer is. I'm a long-time HEB shopper, and what was nice about shopping at HEB was the reasonable and fair prices for products. HEB didn't resort to gimmicks or coupons to entice customers; their produce section was fresh and had variety; for instance, they carry shishito peppers and rambutan fruit when in season. You can't say that for a Kroger or Walmart or Target. Their dairy and other sections were well-stocked from your basic milks to organic to non-dairy. I have been shopping here because while there were coupons, they were store coupons for some items and in general the store had reasonable pricing. Of late, I am noticing that prices have been pushed up, and HEB now gives coupons when printing your receipt. The coupon doesn't have a bearing on what kind of shopper you are (I am a vegetarian and got a "free bacon" coupon, for example). And because some coupons are along the lines of "get $3 off a $30 basket", the goal seems to be to make you want to buy more. And the prices of the items I buy have been pushed up. Tasters choice coffee which used to be $7.50 or so before these coupon gimmicks is now $8.79 (they give you a coupon to "save 1.50 on two Tasters Choice coffee"); Mrs Meyers hand soap refill that used to be $5.99 is $8.99 today (still $5.97 at Walmart, and $6.99 at Target - never thought HEB would be more expensive than Target). I still am hopeful that HEB will bring back their reasonable prices without the coupon gimmicks. I used to buy all my groceries there, piecemeal, on an "as needed" basis several times a week. But if the price uptick and coupon gimmicks continue, they may lose customers who don't buy a whole lot in one purchase, or those who don't keep track of coupons. Ultimately it comes down to quality (which HEB has) and prices (which aren't what they have been even in the recent past). read more

Staff absolutely ignores you at self checkout, eight employees walk past as light is blinking with zero acknowledgement. The young girl, different hair colors, working the area has no idea of customer service. The 'manager' I am assuming, young guy with black hair says nothing as he puts his code in to the self checkout. Neither can be concerned with eye contact or verbal acknowledgement. I was very upset I have been going to the curbside pick up and every time they don't have paper bags for some reason (even though I have requested them in the comments section) and when I get plastic in and outside of the store they only put one or two things in a bag for example: two cans of corn, a bottle of oregano,tomatoes, two tubs of cheese, dish soap....all in their own individual bag. They didn't even bother to put a box of cereal in a bag, instead it was just lying on the floor of my vehicle. I feel like since I am paying for convenience, I should at least get what I am paying for. I used to give tips for GREAT service but it's been a long while since I've had GREAT service. read more

I love coming to this location because I know where almost everything i need is. When I actually find someone for questions or products, they are nice and are frequently very helpful and knowledgeable. About 10% of the time is when I can't find an employee or product when I need it. But it's better than almost everywhere else. Except for HEB Sienna Plantation & Randall's Sugarland. I wouldn't go anywhere else except for these 3 locations. But the my average cart ticket price has gone up by 40%. Why does food have to be so expensive? This isn't Whole Foods!! read more
