    outstanding employee!

Love HEB!!!! Amazing customer service! This lovely employee gave my grandson a personalized honorary employee badge after learning how much he loved HEB!

This review is for the bakery. They always have such nice looking and tasting treats for me to grab whenever my will power to resist caves cause I can't say no to my sweet children right? lol They did an awesome job in all my children's birthday cakes or cupcakes over the last year and were on time with it and easy to pick up and get out of there via self checkout. There's also been multiple occasions that the baggers would help me out to my car (without me asking) because I had my baby sleeping on me or I had to bring him in the stroller with my two other children in tow.

I'd prefer to do the 10

Heb! I need some shopping. Heb! Not just any shopping. Heb! You know I need some groceries. Heb! This is a pretty standard HEB location which is way too busy for my liking, located right on Highway 6. We've come in here a couple of times. Also we found the service wasn't great and the options were similarly not too great, and we had some pretty bad experiences with some of the employees, as well as a general panic buying type of mentality that was going on here that didn't make things too great, much more so than the other HEB locations at the beginning of Corona. So we were not fans to say the least, but it's here and it might help if you need groceries in this area. And of course this location is frequented by HEBron James and HEBber Locklear. The only thing I bass this on is FLEA But Barbie's my princess, and I need to PEE Especially after an OJ or THREE From HEB for about five FIFTY The clientele here are BOURGEOISIE And they consume more pastries than the Houston PD And I hate the way the night managers act ANGRILY But we still always shop at the HEB!

Really neat store. It reminds me of a Walmart with lots more interesting products and groceries. Employees were very nice and the place was big and very clean. What caught my eye were these "Calabeza squash". It looked like a hybrid of yellow squash and green squash. It's grown locally from Texas. Pretty awesome store.

I've been to better H-E-B stores. I thought the one near my house was the worst. This was my worse shopping experience; perhaps this is my last visit here. The cashier knew nothing about the produce. Not sure if it was her first day on cash register or her last day working at this store. Just about every 4th item, she had to look in her book for the code. When it came to jicama, she looked me for answer. I had to spell it out for her. Uh huh. It's not a turnip. To make my experience worse, the bagger didn't care about my carefully selected nectarines as she threw them across the bagging area. My partner gave her a dirty look. Uh huh. Try that again and I'm gonna tell.

What a great deal for a protein & 2 sides from HEB's Cafe on the Run

My goodness gracious, I do miss HEB! Dallas needs one bad It was nice during my visit in town to be able to visit a Cafe on the Run and score a $5.99 orange plate special. There is also a smoothie/juice bar in the store. They make some good smoothies at this little bar. I'm so glad I brought an ice chest this trip. That chest is heading back to Dallas well stocked with HEB groceries. Best prices and quality in Texas!

Amazing salad topping for everyone and they're certified vegan!

When I got home and…read moreopened one of the packages to cook it, I immediately noticed a strong foul odor, making me concerned that the product was no longer safe to eat. I checked both packages for an expiration or "best by" date but could not find one anywhere on the packaging. I called the store and spoke with the manager (Omar), to explain the situation. He told me that there are no rules requiring expiration dates on frozen meat and stated that "frozen meat doesn't expire." He also assured me that I could return the product for a refund. After driving back to the store, Omar refused to honor what he had promised. Instead, he continued insisting that frozen meat does not expire and declined to issue a refund. I was disappointed not only by the quality of the product but also by the way the situation was handled. I expected the store to stand behind the products it sells and to honor the resolution that was promised. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have had. I hope the store improves its product labeling, quality control, and customer service.

Everyone I've recommended it to has loved what they've tried as well. This location is great, although one thing to know is that it doesn't serve hot prepared meals like their other location does, where you can get a full plate with things like chicken, étouffée, collard greens, and other sides. I do wish they offered that here too. For Cajun food in Houston, especially something you can take home and cook yourself, this is one of my favorite places. I recommend it all the time and would go back in a heartbeat. It really feels like a local staple, and I'm glad we have it in Houston.

Herbert's Specialty Meats on Richmond near the Galleria instantly took me back home. The moment you walk in, the number of items from Louisiana is delightful Their boudin, seasonings, and prepared items reminded me so much of my grandmother's gumbo, boudin, and rich, slow-cooked stews--comfort food that warms your soul. You can taste the authenticity and love in everything they make. This is the kind of place that understands balance, spice, and tradition. Customer service was excellent--friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help you find exactly what you're craving. If you're looking for gluten-free, vegan, or other specialty products, the selection here is excellent. The store is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. A nice bonus is the Amazon return counter inside the store. You can bring eligible Amazon returns without packaging, and they handle the rest. One thing I wanted to mention for anyone trying to take advantage of the current Amazon Prime ice cream promotion (50% off pints through July 7): this location has had ongoing ice cream issues. I visited twice recently and found the freezers completely empty both times. On one visit, staff said they were waiting on a shipment; on the next visit, they explained that the freezer had broken and posted a sign stating that no ice cream pints were available for sale. So if you're specifically coming for the ice cream deal, I'd recommend calling ahead first or checking another Whole Foods location. Aside from that issue, it's still a great store and a very convenient Whole Foods for the Sugar Land area.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.
