We used to love HEB for many years. Not any more (this refers to the Sienna Plantation store). Back when Paul was the main manager, they always took great care of us and if anything wasn't right, he made it right. Now, they simply don't care. Things constantly get screwed up during check out and the new managers could care less. They know there is a problem (per conversations we've had with them more than once) and they are totally useless. Additionally, important items like milk and eggs are often out of stock, so this store has really gone down the tube. Today, we tried to buy some Ozarka sparkling water we had an HEB coupon for and they told us they weren't honoring their own coupon (it wasn't expired). The Sienna store officially sucks and we are going to do most of our future grocery shopping somewhere else. read more

I like HEB. It's a really great place to shop. The staff is so friendly that germ-spreaders in produce often have a field day in this location without some control system to keep them in check. I understand people tasting fruit in produce like grapes, cherries, etc. People will pop some fruit into their mouths even though the fruit is unwashed. Well, that's their choice. Most shoppers have all seen that often. No big deal as far as I'm concerned. I went to this location this week and saw cherry seeds from eaten cherries that were left on the display counter among the cherries in produce. Apparently, somebody had been eating the cherries and leaving the spat out seeds right there on the counter with all the other cherries, which were in those open plastic individual containers. The seeds were directly on the counter. I didn't see any spat-out seeds inside the bags. This wasn't the first time I realize people coming into produce feasting on the fruits, putting everybody else at risk of their germs. Previously, a couple of years ago, I had witnessed 2 women in nurse uniforms with no baskets just feasting on the displayed grapes like they were a meal. Popping them in the mouth and going back for more. So, from mouth to hand to exposed grapes. This week, I alerted a worker at HEB about those nasty cherry seeds and risk of germs. I asked what they do to control customers from doing this. He said there was nothing that could be done and that they can only address it when they see it happen. I asked him about putting up a sign telling customers it's theft to at least discourage some from spreading their germs. His only response was there was nothing they could do. He was the produce manager. So, he was courteous enough to say he'd address with the store manager. I had told HEB about those women goggling up those grapes, while they were still standing right there doing it for a long while. I showed an HEB attendant. He was uninterested and said basically the same thing - nothing they could do. I told a second one. Same thing. I didn't write about it last time. But spat-out seeds laying around with the rest of the cherries plus a passive take on it by managers spells germ exposure. read more

This store is already packed but they get you in and out .. usually stocked pretty well good prices and was very helpful during Harvey

i do not plan on coming back here EVER. the only reason y i came here was because my mom demanded we come here since its closer to where we live. one of the your employees was extremely rude to us. Not only did she tell me my kind was not welcomed in her lane to check out, but she does not have any patience to have a handicap person hold her back from taking a break and that we were sucking her time...and in her words, " next time do not come to my lane i have no patience for you chinese people". read more

The toilets are never attended to and to find a stall that is actually flushed you will also find fecal matter on the roilet role. This found in a grocery store is a bit disturbing. Ive been to other HEBs and never experienced the same. This is not my 1st trip therefore this cannot be assumed as a one off. I can honestly say ive experienced this more than 3 times. Please do something about this. Ive suggested to the manager over a year ago and in the with no results. Now that im back in the neighborhood it would be nice not to worry about deinking too much water before you venture Out to your local H-E-B. read more

The organic strawberry selection was extremely poor on 8/20/19. Organic russet potato supply zero. Their organic selection could be broadened considerably. Regular watermelon slices were turning mushy. Overall produce dept. is sadly lacking. read more

The sweet lady at the bakery that I spoke to today was polite, patient, and was able to make my cake just the way I wanted. After a horrible experience calling Kroger near by, I'm so glad! I'd happily give my business to HEB over Kroger any day because of staff members like this! :) read more

H-E-B makes eating and feeling healthy so easy. They have all of my favorite supplements, drinks and foods in one place. Make sure you stop by their produce section, where they have the freshest selections in season and convenient chopped onions and other add ins so that you don't have to chop up veggies to go in your recipes. Their sushi is tops also and they have a great selection to choose from like the spicy crab or the California rolls and more. In the organic section they have a large selection of snacks and drinks and exercise supplements that are all natural. They have a nice selection of natural lotions and body products also. HEB also has their own private label of many products that are cheaper than the national brand. Their brand also rivals the national brand with taste as well. One more thing to mention. When I am sick the first place I go is H-E-B because the clinic is awesome. They can get you in and out very quickly and make you feel better. Pharmacy always takes care of me. I can go and get my prescriptions or clinic visits at any H-E-B in Houston and it is all in the network. They always have my information ready. read more

Absolutely terrible! First, another customer needed help finding something. I didn't think much of it and was happy to help her locate creamer. But that was just a foreshadowing of things to come. I had a hard time locating things myself. I walked each aisle several times before trying to flag 2 associates. One ignored me and the other gave me the wrong aisle. As I walked the aisles a third time, a hurried manager overheard me asking the lady offering food samples and yelled back a vague idea where raisins were. The reason I didn't notice them was because they were picked over. What a waste of time. So then I go to the self checkout with my items. I had an in-store coupon and scanned it. The machine was not reading it so I pressed the help button. I waited a good 5 minutes, noticing the self checkout lines and regular lanes accumulating customers so I press the button again. The few associates working the lines are too busy to help or seek help for me. And one comes to the self-checkout desk but blatantly ignored my gesture of needing help. Frustrated, I whip out my phone and call the store (thanks to the handiness of Yelp!). I tell them my register number and wait just about as long as I did the first and second time combined. Still not acknowledged, I call the store and ask to speak to a manager. The operator said she'd (once again) send someone over. I wait at least a few more minutes and finally an associate comes over to address the issue. At this point I've spent an hour at the store between trying to get a parking space, trying to locate 5 items, the register malfunction, and then not even getting everything I need. It's a small store so I didn't expect to have big problems. The southwest tortillas at this store suck, too! read more

I love H-E-B. I mostly go for cosmetics, household products, and groceries that aren't produce. Their prices usually are the best (except for fruits and vegetables) and they have almost anything you could need. The fruits can be a hit or miss, depending on the season. They make an amazing freshly squeezed orange juice that I recommend you try out at least once though! read more

I have been coming to this location since they first opened. I'm never disappointed, it's always a great experience. The employees have been a consistent charm and the service is excellent. Always well organized and clean. The food prepared in the store is fresh and delicious and I'm always seeing the grocery managers hard at work around the store, making sure things are in order and running smoothly. Will remain a loyal customer. The only thing I could suggest to improve on is the bird poop that tends to accumulate on the pavement in the parking lot. I remember for the longest time it stayed in the same spots and started to smell. Perhaps regular pressure washing will do the trick. Otherwise, I'm always impressed with this HEB. read more

I love HEB so I drive to the HEB in Pearland. The staff at the Missouri City store are rude and the selection is limited.

I like the selection of products and the prices . The employees at the deli department are the slowest moving of any deli I've encountered and almost never smile. Seafood dept is hit and miss for freshness. read more

HEB does't always have the lowest prices around especially if you coupon and price match with sales. However, their brand name products are always a good buy. They also usually offer a meal deal of the week that really gives you a big bang for your buck. It is basically a meals worth of products that they have assembled to showcase often their own name-brand products. If you like what is offered, it makes it easy to make that a meal for your weekly menu plan. The store is overall clean and the employees are friendly. They also carry some items that are harder to find elsewhere especially in the organic and natural food sections. Also they have a Red Box outside which is nice when you need a quick movie, plus they have it outside so no matter the time you can pick-up and drop-off. read more

Just finished shopping here today. I do love HEB but just found out they have changed their policy regarding expired foods. I came across 3 packages of expired ham in the deli section. These are the prepackaged sliced selection. They expired November 29 2016, almost a month ago. In case you didn't know HEB would give you a unexpired item for free if you found one expired. The cashier told me that that's not the policy anymore. Guess you will need to watch for expired foods closely now. That policy gave HEB personnel incentive to remove before customers found them. read more

Only reason I come here is for convenience, it's the closest heb to work and I'm a heb junkie. I'm so spoiled by the one by my house (bunker hill) that stepping into this one was a world of difference. It's dirty and the meat selection is so skimpy. I feel as though it's very disorganized and the employees are ridiculously lazy. Even the cooking connection area which is normally my favorite spot to visit is rather hostile. My wife rented a steam cleaner at this location. Called in to extend the rental from 24 to 48 hours. When I went to return it they wanted to charge me for a late fee. They called the manager out and I explained the situation. The manager said she was working yesterday and that no one called in. I called my wife to let her talk to her. Another employee walked by and corroborated the fact that my wife did in fact call in. She takes off the late fee and charges it as another 24 hour rental fee. The difference between 2 24 hr rentals and a 48 hr being $20. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I hope that $20 was worth it, as I easily spend $140 a week on groceries. read more

I use to live closer to Central Market. This spot is so dangerous to my wallet. Prices are good, it's just they present everything so well and have the perfect placement of items that I end up buying more than I needed on my 10 item grocery list. The cooking Station always have easy meals to try and nice sangria's. Warning, be leery of the Spanish lady at their tasting stations....she's very pushy. They have their generic brand on hand to tons of imports. The produce section is always fresh and crisp. Better than the local Kroger. Fresh fish selection is overpriced and limited. Overall a good supermarket but doesn't carry much in the way of specialty items like you would find at a trader joes. Prices vary and I think you could probably save money by going to Walmart but the shopping experience would be very different. read more

I went to HEB store at Hwy 6 and Dulles this morning and had the worst service I have had since going to Kroger. They had two registers open and 15 people in line. Marrying off 7th child....wife doing the grooms cake that was on a board 33" wide...missed going in our refrigerator by about 1/4"....what to do to keep it cold overnight before driving it to Galveston...called HEB to see if they had a walk-in refrigerator that we could store it in and how much...WOW! Talked w/Tanishi....bring it in....she guided me to where it would be...how much? Fabulous grocery store no hassle always ready to please, very courteous. I ordered a birthday cake the day before I needed it for my daughter's 40th. I wanted something special. I explained what I wanted and the lady at the bakery suggested swirl cream on a layer and mentioned they could do more than one color swirl so I decided on 3 pink, purple and light green. I asked for colored sprinkles on the 2nd tier and was told they only do colored crumbs around it. I asked about writing Happy Birthday and my daughters name. She said there wasn't anywhere to write so I mentioned to write it on a ribbon. The next day went to pick it up and opened to box to check and it came out fabulous. It was absolutely prefect apparently they put on tiny colored candy disc like sprinkles instead of the crumbs. It was just fantastic and went beautiful with the centerpiece. This HEB location is my default since it is near my gym and closest to my home. But, after 2 months of dealing with COvid-19 safety measures I no longer feel safe shopping at this location. About 3 weeks ago, I questioned their checker/bagger lacking any use of protective measures (for their workers or customers) between customers. I even asked a manager who seemed unconcerned. This week once again they were bare handed, bare faced and by their admission didn't use hand sanitizer between customers. I would hate to see them wasting gloves by changing between customers, but they could at least use hand sanitizer between customers. What good does it do for me to wear a mask, wear gloves and bring clorox wipes to pick up each item if the checker and bagger each handle every item before it is bagged with the germs from the last three+ customers who may not have been careful. This risks your employees as well as your customers. read more
