This Walmart HAD TO have had a major renovation recently. It had been years since I visited it last. (My Christmas cards got sent here instead of another location and this was was sketch). Both my husband and I were BLOWN AWAY by how nice this Walmart was. We only planned on grabbing a couple thing but decided we needed to "walk a lap" just to take in all the awesomeness. I mean, the clothing area could have been in a high end department store. The displays were incredible. And since when did Walmart sells the brand Chaps?? All the price stickers are now DIGITAL. How high tech!!!! Bonus, our item we needed that was out at our local Walmart was in stock here... not only in stock but they had about 20+ of them!!! Everything was SO clean and pristine! I included a pic of the restrooms. I have NEVER seen such amazing restrooms in a Walmart!!!! Backlit glow around the mirrors, beautiful subway tile, quartz countertops. (I am actually a bit JEALOUS that Walmart has better bathrooms than we do!! Maybe we can show a contractor this pic and have them replicate it in our home.) I literally will drive further to come to this Walmart. I hope and pray that the DUMPY Broadway St. Walmart gets a renovation like this... I HATE the Broadway St one. It's awful awful awful there! I will start off by saying that the store appeared to be organized and clean, however, the reason I only gave it 3 is because I bought fruit from there and all of the fruit had a not so good taste. I bought pears, plumbs, nectarines and bananas and they did not taste right. They were bland/flavorless (for a lack of a better word) compared to how fruit from a grocery store tastes. I recently went to this Walmart since I was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised as it was not packed on a Tuesday evening after work. The store was fully stocked in every department with the exception of the "dollar section" (though I don't blame them since they have such cute things at great prices!). The store was super clean along with the bathrooms. For reference I live about 30 minutes away from this area but would not mind making the drive if this is what it is like here! 10/10 recommend. read more

I live all the way in California. My mom that lives in Pearland dropped her purse in the parking lot. A gentleman from this Walmart named Jesse found it, and my business card in my mom's purse and gave me a call to let me know that he found it and put it at the customer service desk for safe keeping. My mom retrieved the purse and confirmed that nothing was missing. Pretty disappointed with this Walmart especially being in Pearland. I had higher standards but I was sorely disappointed. Most of their items in the medical section are either missing or not stocked up. They do check your receipt when you're done shopping which I'm not the biggest fan of (simply because the other Walmart's I've been to didn't). It's not the most organized store. To get here is also a big pain. The main street is always full of traffic, no matter when you go to Walmart (it can be at 10am or 2pm), you'll get stuck in traffic. I personally don't like coming here and I probably won't be shopping here unless I absolutely have to. read more

This is a crap Walmart; the pharmacist here need to be fired on the real. Its a funny thing because they used to be my pharmacy, but not no more. The pharmacy techs and pharmacists here are the worst: several times they have given me the wrong drug. Once the pharmacist who checked to see if I had my drug and understood what drug I was getting--she gave me a narcotic instead. I was with my aunt and we started walking towards the checkout lines when we heard the pharmacist running after us yelling, "hey, hey, hey, I gave you the wrong medicine." It has been other cases where I've had trouble with this pharmacy. Also, the associates here aren't helpful. They just sit on their butts and ignore you when they see you. 5/23/2020 Today I had an experience at Walmart that I go to weekly and would rate the Pharmacy a 5. As I entered the store with my daughter the staff were just unfriendly towards me and my daughter. The staff were wiping down carts for shoppers before us and pulling and handing them the basket. When we walked up the staff looked at us rudely. Basically refused to wiped down the cart and we had to grab a dirty basket. There were no wipes for us to use to clean it ourselves. While we shopped we discussed what happed upon entering and we decided to not get all the things for the party. We did buy around $100 because it was cheaper there, but I was so concerned on the way out I stopped and asked the males name who was pulling the basket. It was Abel. Because. I have to get my medication tomorrow, but this might be my last trip to this Walmart . I might move my business somewhere else. read more

This review is for Optometry and Optometry only. I'm in the military and for me I get my glasses on base but I was on leave and at home in Pearland when my glasses broke. I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money just to wear glasses for 2 weeks before I go back to California. I came in and there was 3 women who all were super polite and helpful to find me a pair that would fit my lenses that were still good when I broke my frame. Took my car here for an oil change. A few months back my car had a low oil sensor. After I added oil and brought it in they informed me the oil filter they previously installed had a hole in the filter which was slowly leaking oil since installation. I let that go as a random occurrence. Today 07/28/19 I took my car back for an oil change. Upon leaving I noticed my low tire pressure sensor came on. I stopped at a gas station to check and it had no pressure in it at all. This is problematic because there is no way the tech didn't see the low pressure sensor when he took it out and parked it. This is even more problematic because I had my tires rotated yesterday at discount tire and all of my tires were properly inflated when I dropped it off at Walmart. Considering my tire is still inflated now after five hours since I put air in it. I'm led to believe either the tech purposefully let air out of the tire for some reason as an action towards me or the tech was trying to check pressure and some how managed to let all of the air out of the tire without realizing it. Regardless, that's two negative experiences and I won't be coming back for a third. read more

I already was not a fan of Walmart in general. I can now say any time I have another option, I will go elsewhere. I waited 12 mins with a toddler for the cabinet to be unlocked for an 88 cent pregnancy test. No one came! They were paged twice by the pharmacist. I gave up. When I approached an associate about this issue at the scan and go by the pharmacy end (approx 11 am today) she completely ignored me. I tried to call customer service and let the phone ring a total of 8 mins (5 mins and it hung up on me, then 3 more mins). I will not be shopping at Walmart again! Worst experience ever at any grocery pickup. I used to come here a lot when they first started, but started going to Kroger when they moved closer to me. Today I came to this location again, but it has been a horrible mistake. I arrived at 6 for my 6 to 7 pm pickup time, could never check-in since no one would answer the phone. When o flagged down one of the people he came back about 15 minutes later (630pm) to tell me they were not done picking my groceries. We agreed I would come back at 7 to pick them up. I returned at 7 and found out that at 705pm, they were still not done picking my groceries. It is now 713 and I have not heard anything, and have been on the hold for 12 minutes just to talk to someone. So, someone finally answered the phone at 723pm and he checked on my order. When he came back, he told me my order was done pickup ng and he would call to tell them to send it out to my space. So, my groceries are not here yet and it is 740pm. I just flagged down another person and she said it will be right out. Hopefully, they bring it out before they close at 800pm. read more

Purchased a cake from this Walmart location for a 50th wedding anniversary party. The cake had a crack in the middle when I arrived at the bakery for pick-up. The bakery clerk said she fixed the cake however by the time of the event a few hours later my cake had cracked down the entire top layer from end to end again and looked like the San Andres Fault. When I went back to the store to talk to management about the issue they were very unapologetic. They also did not even offer a partial credit on the terrible cake they couldn't have even sold off of the discount clearance rack. I was very disappointed in how the entire thing was handled from beginning to end. If you have a wedding or anything special you are purchasing a cake for, save yourself a lot of disappointment and go somewhere else. They are very unethical here. read more
