    This rating is strictly for my experience today with the bakery. Most of the time my experiences here have been good . Custom ordered a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday last week to be ready for today. My daughter requested a heart shaped cake with the Spider-Man image from their display book , red velvet and cream cheese frosting. Got a call at 7am saying they didn't have red velvet cake but everything else was fine. Went to pick it up and the cake had no image but instead had added roses which were never requested. The order form clearly stated the image number for the Spider-Man image was she wanted. They gave us a discount for the cake which is why I gave 3 stars, but now we have to travel store to store to try and fix it to what she actually wanted and DIY it .

    I used this HEB for a curbside pickup order, although this is not my usual HEB. The quality of the service is consistent with my usual HEB. Claudia was great, getting everything on my order, and even going back into the store to get a substitution for a product they didn't have in stock. Now that is great customer service! She was was very friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. I ordered a couple of Chef Prepared Meals, and they were delicious. Parking at this HEB is a nightmare, so I took off a star for that. You might ask why they still have five stars from me. That is because Claudia provided 6 star service!

    I love HEB, but not this one. Be warned if using this one for delivery. On two separate deliveries the ground beef delivered was past the use by date. Also, the ribeyes are cut strangely. I have stopped using delivery and now use curbside at the location that originally delivered to my area. Also, they seldom have everything on my list, and what they do have has a higher substitute rate than the store that used to deliver. So very disappointed I my delivery experience with them on more than one occasion. Of course they will replace the expired items, but it shouldn't happen more than once.

    My husband and I are loyal HEB shoppers. We get our prescriptions filled, stock up on groceries and even use the gas station to fill up. My experience this past Saturday was disappointing. We were planning our son's 15th birthday party, so I decided to order a cake. I'm a well organized person, so it was ordered two weeks prior. I had a bakery employee helping me with my choices and answering my questions which was accommodating. When I went to pick up my cake it was ready to go. When I peeked at the cake I noticed that it looked exactly how I ordered it, but something was missing. The round cake had a strip of decoration that was suppose to go around the cake, with a confetti look. Well to my surprise the cake was missing about a 5 inch piece of the top leaving the back part empty and visually awkward. I was not pleased with how it looked so head back to the bakery to find out what happened. A lady bakery employee apologized and stated that since it was a larger size cake the confetti strip doesn't go around all the way and that if I wanted to cover the empty spot it would cost $8.00. I was shocked and said that when I ordered the cake it didn't state an additional charge for the size of cake I ordered and the employee getting my information the day I ordered the cake didn't state that the confetti strip didn't complete cover the circumference of the cake. The employee then stated that they have employees that are not trained and that they have a lot of new employees. I think as a large company HEB should have procedures in place to ensure that customer purchases are fulfilled regardless of the employee experience. The employee the offered to add sprinkles to the missing spot, which I agreed to even though it didn't match. Overall this experience was shocking and disappointing. I won't be ordering cakes from this location and this experience put a damper on my day. Oh and I noticed on my receipt I got charged for a Chocolate fudge cake and not a white buttercream cake, so I might have been charged correctly. Wow! HEB really got me this time.

    My girlfriends 5 years old daughter found this needle in her limes today..

    Found a needle in limes from our pick up order... not sure what they can do to prevent this. Nonetheless this was not okay. Who knows what's on this needle.

    A good clean store for most food needs. Milk, pizza, and much much more. Kind staff and easy to find stuff. No game section, though.

Half of the market was closed off, but something new that popped up near the front of the store was a coffee/smoothie bar. We stopped in for a quick to go order of a coffee, pastry, and smoothie. I loved the fact that there is an option to make your own. I was able to choose my base, 2 fruit options, and a veggie. I chose - blueberry, strawberry, (comes with a banana), spinach, and almond milk. Perfect! Healthy and fresh. The girl behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. There's also a gelato bar. So they just re did a portion of the store to expand their ready made foods. My husband and I go in to get a couple of sandwiches. We've done it before for little weekend picnics, but my bread was so tough today it wasn't really pleasant. It felt like it had been left in the fridge section for too long. Then we knew the brisket and prepared meats weren't going to be ready until 4, we had asked one of the employees there and they told us it'd be ready at 4. We ordered a couple of sides for dinner and both of the sides were labeled incorrectly. One of them triple the price of what the item should have costed. We came back at 4 and then were informed the brisket might be out actually closer to 5. What? Why tell us 4 and then push it to another hour? We decided to leave and check out and at the checkout lane I noticed they started putting the meat out?? Did they just not want to serve us?? Their customer service specifically was rude but our cashier who helped us with the overpriced ticketed items was nice and helpful. It just doesn't feel good to be treated with disrespect and to basically be lied to because the same guy who said it wouldn't be out until 5 literally started to put out the meat as soon as we walked away. Weird, random, and I hated it.
