    It's a fun Valentine's day at HEB with lots of yummy holiday samples of cheesecake and brownies and tons of roses and heart shaped tins to broil some steak and lobster don't forget your pink bubbly a card and heart shaped box of chocolates!

    HEB has a convenient drive thru pharmacy and curbside pickup or delivery for groceries. They have a beautiful florist area that can make really nice arrangements and balloon bouquets as well. They have a nice deli, bakery & sushi area. They can make your sushi specific to your order too if you'd like. They have a vast produce section with a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Their ready made meals, salads & sandwiches are great for busy schedules. The drive thru pharmacy is convenient but can sometimes have long car lines. They have 2 lanes but only help out 1 person at a time so it can definitely get backed up depending on when you go. If you can, pay ahead on the HEB app. This saves time. HEB has great prices and excellent customer service.

    I love me some H‑E‑B I feel in love with H‑E‑B when I visited Texas a few years ago. The people that works there is super friendly my grandson was visiting me for his birthday and he had his birthday pin on a few of the workers stopped doing what they were doing to sing happy birthday to him. Some of the workers even pinned money on him. The produce is always fresh as well as their meats they are my to go store for everything and I always recommend them when my family visits. Also the pharmacy department I love that they know me by name when I go pick up my medication definitely 5 stars from me.

    I usually buy all of our flower arrangements from this location. They have been consistently beautiful. I call, give instructions, ask for no filler flowers, and provide a budget. I am not exaggerating when I say that I've easily spent $500 in arrangements from this location over the last 1.5 years. That's not including the days that I go and pick up bundles to arrange myself, that's another $200. My issue here is that I called once I left and got a good look at the arrangement we paid $73 after taxes for. In comparison to other arrangements, this one read as cheap. I then looked closer and realized that I could have built this arrangement from their bundles for under $30. I called back, explained that I wasn't intending on insulting anyone's work but the arrangement was just cheap. The florist came across as nicely combative-- I told her the name that I thought the flowers were, she corrected me. When I pointed out that the white flowers are fillers (you can grab a bundle in store for $3), she said that they weren't. When I said that I can could buy a bundle of white hydrangeas for $5, she said that that was all they had in white. Why not tell me before making the flowers? Call me and ask if that's okay. This is why you have my number. When it was suggested that I should have specified the type of flower I wanted, I explained that I never have had to. She said that I should in the future. I felt like I was the only one trying to come up with a solution and that's not the responsibility of the already dissatisfied customer. Update: I've called and spoken to the store manager. She seems helpful. I would never ask for a full refund. If just like to pay for something more comparable to the quality. Update 2: The manager Deborah is wonderful. She listened to me fully and provided a gift card for far more than I was ever looking for to begin with. Her tone, patience, empathy, and follow through were amazing!! That's how it's done! That kind of professionalism is a rarity.

    I love the HEB on 242 better than this one and the one in Market Street. Each has its own character and I don't like this one's.

    Always very helpful.. never seem to have unhappy employees. Enjoy their varied weekly sales... I won't ever buy meats, @ that 'K' grocer!!!

In 43 minuites from the time I parked in front of the HEB Store I was !!!!!!!!!! FORCED to spend !!!!!!!! $422.00 to pay the South County Wrecker Service, LLC for my impounded Jeep at their tow yard in the dark of night. $10.00 ATM Cash out Fee $9.00 Lift fee My Land Lord is a Exectuive at HEB for over 25 plus years .. The Lyft driver tells me this is very normal, these people got some scam going she says, her storey even get more scarry from what she tells me what happened to her in that same parking lot. Towing peoples cars while they are shoping at HEB is not a very honest way to make money ! Yes even the Store Managers of HEB that evening state, "yes the employees here have same problem" and we can not help you or them at all.We dont own the LOT ! Thats not possible or even believable right ?? sound very fishy As the horrible weekend progressed I opened my mouth and asked randem people around the area and YES its very well known. Even my LardLord the 25 year executive at HEB, he agreed these people are CROOKS ! MarketStreet the owner of the parking lot is cashing in on poor families that shop there. HEB and MARKET STREET shame on you... You will never see me there again and in fact I will be sharing this to anyone I come in contact with.     HEB really tested my patience today…read more First up: the sashimi. I don't know what happened, but those pieces were tiny. Like a mouse cut them. My kid polished off two whole containers and still looked at me like a Wendy's commercial (ie where's the fish?). At this point, a restaurant might actually be cheaper--and you get pieces bigger than a postage stamp. Then came the beef noodle lo mein, which I can only describe as truly disgusting. The noodles were clumped together while the beef tasted tough like the sole of my shoe. Every burp I had after the food just reminded me of how gross it was. To top it off, the chopstick station was empty, and there was exactly one soy sauce packet left. Rough day, HEB.

The cashier, Marilyn, never greeted me, never acknowledged me when I spoke to her, and never thanked me at the end of the transaction. From beginning to end, there was not a single word exchanged from her side. When she handed me my receipt, her demeanor felt dismissive and honestly unpleasant. Idk what that attitude was about but imagine how quickly this could've gone downhill had I handled her just as rudely as she handled me. What stood out most is that there was no negative interaction beforehand that would have explained the behavior. Even if a greeting was somehow missed, there is no reason a customer should leave without at least hearing "thank you." One employee's poor customer service can easily overshadow the positive work of others, and that's exactly what happened here. Whole Foods needs to do better with consistency in customer experience, especially at the register where customers leave with their final impression of the store.

The bathrooms are above-average clean for a gas station and are very modern. It looks like a great place to buy beer--they have a selection equivalent to a grocery store and a dedicated walk-in cooler. The food is another story. I've seen the food well-stocked, but I went in at noon on a Saturday for something hot and was disappointed. They didn't have the chopped beef sandwich or sriracha burger that they advertised as a special. I think they were understaffed and didn't manage to stock. I ended up with a sausage on a stick and a choice off the roller grill. They did have a good variety there, including a breakfast sausage that was tempting, but in the end I went with a pepperoni pizza grilled sausage, with some "chili" and cheese from the dispensers. Gourmet food it was not, but actually not half bad. The sanitary conditions for the food were good. The buns were individually wrapped, and the drink cup lids were in dispensers that cut down on fingering the stack. They had two Freestyle machines, and both appeared to be working properly, which you can't take for granted. The gas is a bit above average in price, but it's convenient and I'm happy to patronize it.
