He gave the best possible solutions. -Estimate was pretty spot on -Orlando and his crew took a shorter amount of time than estimated but was very thorough. They worked early in the morning till the sun almost went down -The repair was removing old wood and putting a protective PVC cover. It was caulked and painted. The front of my house looks brand new! Details: I first worked with Sussan on design. I had high level ideas of what I wanted, but no real experience in picking out all the elements that were needed to complete a design. Sussan proved to be a great partner for this - she visited my home first for measurements and to get a sense of my style. Then she invited me to the showroom to review materials. I really appreciated her willingness to work with me as I got an education on all of the choices needed to complete the design. I feel like the final product was exactly what I wanted - but I couldn't have done it as well without her. When the time came for the actual renovation, I was introduced to Jonathan as my project manager. Again, I have no real experience with contractors. But I am certainly familiar with all of the horror stories, so I was nervous about what to expect. This was literally the best experience with a service provider I have ever experienced. Jonathan kept me informed of progress, quickly consulted me when a choice needed to be made, and handled all of my nervous questioning and follow up with kindness and respect. That positive experience was backed up by the product. The team did quick and beautiful work. I was continually impressed by the high caliber of their work and so excited as I saw my design vision brought to light. I now have the kitchen and bathroom of my dreams - and it was delivered on budget and earlier than expected. No contractor nightmares here! As with all major work, there were some mistakes. But GBC handled them with a total focus on my satisfaction, and worked to make sure I felt pleased with outcomes every step of the way. I mentioned I live in a DC condo.
