I participated in a work-based team bonding excursion to H-Town Paintball, and we all had a blast The staff was helpful. There were really only a couple people operating the everything. someone manning the rental shack, and another refereeing our matches, but they were pleasant and professional. The one monitoring our games was very observant in terms of safety, and he also worked to ensure we all had a great time. He filled our CO2 tanks in between matches, briefed us on safety protocols, provided us with vests to split teams, took our picture, etc It is roughly $55 per person to play. You get rentals (gun, unlimited CO2, and a mask), 2 hrs of refereed playtime, and 500 paintballs. There are daytime vs nighttime rates. Night time is slightly more expensive, but you get glow in the dark paintballs. Check the site for weekday vs night time vs weekend hours There are 4 courses: Nuke Town, Shipment, Speedball, and Drum Yard. We tried all except Speedball (it was down). You play until there is no one left standing on at least one of the teams Some tips: If you have a group of 10 or more each person will save 10% on pricing. Wear some padded layers. It is not extremely painful, but it's not nothing when you're hit. They have birthday party deals. There are snacks and pizza in the rental shack if you're hungry. The parking is in a gravel lot outside the site, and it's a little sketchy. Consider bringing valuables with you, but there aren't lockers or anything to put them in. Also, we arrived at 4pm on a Friday in January, and while it was nice weather to layer up in, we ran out of sunlight pretty quick. Place is really cool I have been 3 times and it's such a shame to say that I will not return ever again due to staff, staff is extremely rude arrogant and like to bully their customers each time I have been it has been the same issue the first time I visited their was a young Hispanic male who was actually the only staff that was helpful and nice he even told me himself that the rest of the staff are assholes and he hates working with them I have been name called by refs shot by refs more than one time because they seem to think it's funny and laugh about it together not to mention the older white lady who seems to be the owner overheard her telling cashier to charge "them" extra for no apparent reason such a shame because they do have a nice field to play wish it was ran by somebody who actually takes pride in the game not just looking to make a buck read more

Regarding HTOWN SPLASH ZONE which is the other side of this paintball business. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! Booked this place for my son's 6th birthday. This place is extremely run down, I was told everything would be pressure washed, cleaned and ready for my party but it was not. The slides were extremely dirty with some black little beads everywhere. They advertise umbrellas on all tables which they don't have, and 4 slides for the price which is not true they only had 3 bc one popped due to a previous party but did not offer any type of compensation for that. The staff is very inconsistent with the booking information, and change their policies when convenient. The front desk lady named Cara is very rude. I had 2 "hosts" during my party Alaina and Scarlett, which were two young ladies possibly still in high school with no common sense or basic customer service skills. They were both clueless about everything, anytime I asked them a question they had to go ask someone else but didn't come back to give me an answer until I asked AGAIN. I knew I had a balance to pay but at the end of my party Alaina came up to me while I was in the middle of a conversation with my guests and said "you still haven't paid your balance" I said yes ma'am I know I will be paying it at the end of my party, and her response back was well you're supposed to be out of here by 10pm umm excuse me I booked my party from 5-10 and it was 10:00pm on the dot!! I booked it until 10:00pm but they do not have proper outdoor lighting once the sun goes down, they 2 very small lights which don't even light up half of the party. They most definitely should not be offering night events if they do not have proper lighting especially having small children in/around water. I was told I could have alcohol by owner Sue if I hired a security guard, then I was told by Cara I couldn't have alcohol bc they don't have a liquor license to serve alcohol but they give it out for free as part of their night ops paintball bookings. This place is just ridiculous, the customer service is absolutely terrible, I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Looked up places for paintball and this one was the first one I found. Reserved for private bday party of 10 people. Location: Off 45 S Parking: Plenty, parking across and also limited at the front Staff: Madison was at the front register and was nice and helpful. Took care of all the paperwork and questions I had along the way. Abraham was the one in charge of our group. Explained rules for each map as well as how to use guns. He kept an eye during all games assuring everyone was safe and wearing face masks. Wait time: None Seating: Plenty of benches. Price: Average -pricy. We paid a bit under $700 It included private party of 10 people, we also added @3 vest $5/each, 5 Pizzas and the 2 hours of game time. Drink: We brought our own non alcoholic drink is and cooler. I was glad they had this option because we were able to bring something we like. Food: We opt for ordering Pizzas. They were very tasty and on time requested. They provided Parmesan cheese and plates . Will continue to come here as we really enjoyed everything about this place. Had my sons birthday here and it was awesome when it came to play! Great set up! Great staff! Just awesome. Now I will say it sucked that the pizzas were not available or a designated table wasn't set up for our party considering it was $600 for 9 players. We had a amazing time! The mom's sat back & relaxed while the children had bonding time setting life-long memories! We had a 3 hr party and it was perfect. Sue made sure we had all the info we needed to prepare our family for WAR, Kayla made paying & set up for a big party easy & Xavier was the best ref ever... He was so patient. Violence is not tolerated, a big sign as soon as you walk into the complex. Yet, during a game an opponent got aggressive and choked and pushed two of our players. Management did absolutely nothing, although we have everything on footage. Terrible place, would never come here again. read more

I would not recommend htown paintball. My cousins and I played 1 game and it was the worse game of paintball I have ever played which really sucks because it was my cousin first time and it spoiled it for her. The arena we played was small and the referees were negligent.. the first few minutes of the game were fun but 6 or 7 of us ran out of ammo about half way through, we ended up huddled up behind the base inflatable on the ground taking a barrage of paintballs from less then 50ft away on the right side. We screamed for a referee or a timeout so we could get off the field but nobody helped us. We sat there defenseless huddled up trying not to get hit for what felt like a lifetime. My cousin was covered in blood down her arms and side from all the paintballs we took so close. It was an all around terrible experience and I wouldn't wish that upon anybody. read more

This was my first experience paint balling and I was explained the rules, once your hit you walk out with your hands up! Well, as this (Caucasian) lady was hit and walking towards the exit where I was near she was told by the ( CAUCASIAN) REFEREE (WHO IS THERE TO MAKE SURE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE FOLLOWED ) to get me, in which she shot me unexpectedly as She was exiting ! The management took up for him and another worker notified me he has had a lot of complaints! I would not recommend anyone to come here . There rules were bent for a CAUCASIAN worker and the Caucasian women was not kicked out or punished!instead management took up for his handling of the situation and made excuses for his actions. This is the BEST paintball field I've ever been to. It's clean with no mud and they use turf. The staff is extremely friendly and the refs care about the players. The maps are awesome too, I would recommend this place to anyone from the age of 8 to 80 read more

Refs are good from my experience, but management do not follow their own rules. One of the opposing players put their hands on two of my teammates and didn't get kicked out nor did he receive any sort of consequence. Video evidence on one of the gopro's was deemed not enough to get the aggressive player kicked out. 100$ for that terrible experience. read more

I had my sons 13th birthday here and we had the referee Mike and he was AMAZING to say the least! He was attentive and very patient. We had a last minutes add on of a 7 year old and he did great explaining to rules to him. He spent his time making my sons birthday very special he had a blast and as a parent I appreciated him making my sons day and experience just that much more special. Thanks to mike I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a paintball party and to get the referee mike. I know I'd be asking for him again when we come back. read more
