I really hoped to have been able to work with H-Town Emergency Plumbing due to all the reviews, but unfortunately I never received a call or message back. I originally found them on Yelp and requested a quote. I messaged back and forth with them on Yelp and the quote I received was actually the lowest I found. I later found out that their phone system had been down and they deeply apologized. Unfortunately I had to get hot water fast so I already had someone else perform the job. It really is too bad because I wanted to work with them. Now that their phone system is back up and working, I would definitely give them another chance if I were to need a plumber. We have had Alex out twice for our plumbing needs. Our first time we had a large plumbing job that needed to be done. Alex looked at all that needed to be done and came back out the next day. We were not able to be in town when he did the work, we just figured we would check when we got. But with out even asking Alex took pictures of all the work and texted them to us. I appreciated the booties that they wore in my home which is extremely professional and is just going the extra mile. I had a pipe burst in a rental property after the bad winter storm. I found H-Town on Yelp and reached out to them. They responded quite quickly, especially considering the massive volume of calls that they were fielding from all around town. After a few messages, we set an appointment and, on the the night before, Den sent several texts to gather information. I was impressed by this preparation. On the day of, Den showed up right on time. He was absolutely terrific throughout, both personally and professionally. A burst pipe can be very difficult to find, especially in a four story townhome. But Den took an analytical approach and ran a number of tests to narrow down the location, all with a great attitude and while explaining his process to me. Eventually he located the pipe break (a split about 1 inch long and very difficult to see) in an almost impossible-to-reach location in the far corner of the crowded attic. That didn't stop him. He crawled in there, squeezing around furnaces and between boards and underneath ductwork, until he had completely disappeared from view. He was able to cut out the burst section and replace it with a small section of PEX and had all of the needed parts on hand. He worked in that terribly cramped position for a long time but he was determined and he stayed in there until he got it done. I was blown away, a lot of guys would have seen that impossible work location and simply said sorry, I can't do it. But Den got in there and got the job done. After the fix was complete, we turned the water back on and he thoroughly checked for any additional leaks until he was satisfied that the issue was resolved. What a success - my water was back on and my tenants could move back into the house, and at a very reasonable price as well! This resolved a major problem for me. I am very grateful to Den for a job well done and am extremely happy that I found H-Town. I would 100% recommend them to anybody and will certainly be a regular customer in the future. read more

H-Town Emergency Plumbing not only fixed the problem, but checked and addressed other adjacent work for at no additional cost. Alex came today to fix the problem that the other plumber messed up the day before. This is the second time I called H-Town plumbing for help. Originally I called the plumber named Dale Macpherson, whom my realtor recommended to replace the leaking shower spout in one of the guest bathrooms (because I was unable to reach Alex. His phone number changed.), but Dale sent one of his guys who didn't even have a plumber license. This guy tried to disassemble the old spout from the wall, but found the internal piece got stuck with the copper pipe, and he used two wrenches to try to separate the pieces, and got the copper pipe twisted and damaged, which made the problem worse. This guy called his boss Dale, and told me his boss would send another guy who could fix this later, (probably need to cut the copper pipe and weld a new piece before new spout can put on), but the boss Dale never called me to help resolve this situation his guy left with. So it left me with no choice to find some other plumber which is Alex at H-Town. I am very happy with his job. Alex heated up the pipe before trying to turn and separate the pieces. I highly recommend H-Town Emergency Plumber!!! The charge is fair and reasonable too!! I will continue doing Alex in future and will recommend him to every friend who needs a plumber. They were very flexible and fast; when I had to reschedule and asked them to come 1-2 hours sooner, they were able to accommodate that. Alex was AMAZING! I was put into a situation where the city's sewer system became backed up and therefore backed into my home. I recently purchased a 100 year old home and therefore had trouble getting the situation resolved. Outside of resolving my issue, the fact that Alex understood the severity of my issue and the impact on my quality of life was one of the major needs during a time like this. Having only one restroom and having that bathroom out of commission, it causes issues. Alex was resolved to figuring out a solution by the most cost effective means. Thank you so much for a fantastic job, Alex!! My powder room bathroom sink looks amazing and it is all thanks to your patience and attention to details. We used H-town to replace an existing bathroom faucet with one I provided. I searched high and low to find the same style faucet and was so excited to replace our leaky old one. What should have been a straight forward job turned into a game of what did the manufacturer mess up next? Turns out the kit I provided Alex included two supply lines--one had threading and the other one didn't. Oops. Alex had a great attitude and told me he would run up to Lowe's to buy a new one. He was back within 20 minutes and went right back to work. Just as Alex thought the job was done, it turned out the manufacturer reversed the faucet labels so the cold was labeled hot and vice versa. After detecting the flaw, Alex showed me what was wrong and then went straight to correcting the manufacturers mistake. Great job, Alex!! read more

Fabulous service. Our master bedroom sinks had become super slow and we were in desperate need of service fast. I asked for an estimate super late the night before. By the morning I had a response and a potential appointment time. By the afternoon my clogged drains were fixed. As I came home, Alex was was on his way to his truck to get the items he needed for repair and had just explained the issue to my husband and as I walked in, he said oh, I can explain what is wrong with your sinks to you if you would like. And he proceeded to explain everything all over again to me about what the issue was and answered all the same questions I asked that I am sure my husband asked as well.
