The front desk person, Dr and hygienist were all super courteous and polite and relieved to have found my new dentist. If you have personal insurance, rather than large group/corporate insurance, I would recommend finding another dentist and here is why... I was a patient in the early years of H2 and they were great. Dr. Seo is a great dentist. But I also think as the practice grew, they began to leave "the little people" behind. What I appreciated about H2 his honesty and fairness. Dr. Seo had told me that I did not need a crown when another dentist had told me so. I so appreciate that. More than his bedside manner, which I thought was excellent, I just appreciated the fact that he and Leslie were straightforward and honest. So we started going to H2. I was thankful that they took my dental Insurance, which at the time was Blue Shield. There didn't seem to be any issues at all at that time, which I know was a while ago. The problem arose when I was told that Blue Shield would not be covering certain services H2 was providing. But rather than giving me this info up front and leaving the decision to me to either pay out of pocket or find a new dentist, which I would have understood, they did the work and told me the insurance wouldn't cover the costs. This led to me having to pay thousands of dollars. They said they were going to give me a "courtesy discount" of $600, but I would still owe thousands. Again, my problem is that I was never given the choice of whether to consider that I would have to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket or possibly go to a new dentist because they were no longer taking Blue Shield. I wish I would have been given that option because I couldn't afford paying thousands of dollars. So after a year, I just paid off the final bill. Despite the good care, there seemed to be a bait and switch. As their staff said, if we had been with a large company such as Apple or Microsoft, we'd be fine. But having small business insurance isn't so great. Again, I understand, but like the dentist I currently have who tells me my costs UP FRONT, I wish they would have done the same. So the lesson is, big company with big insurance is great. Small business or personal insurance, avoid H2. read more

I would like to thank Dr. Hee Seo and his team for their professionalism and amazing work. I needed to extract one of my teeth which broke recently, so the implant could be placed. During my first office visit, Dr. Hee Seo explained everything well and talked about potential ways of surgery. I never extracted a tooth before, and was super scared. To my surprise during the surgery I didn't feel anything at all, Dr. gave me just the exact amount of anesthesia. He simply pulled the teeth out so no extra cuts or drills were needed and the healing process was extremely well and easy, on the second day after surgery I didn't need to take pain meds. I had a positive experience with H2 Dental. I recently came for the first time for general cleaning. The hygienist was friendly and did a great job. She did a thorough job, there was now water spatter and it was painless. Dr. Seo was friendly and the staff was great to interact with. I'm so glad I found this office. The reviews are right. The place is clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. About the cleanliness, what I did see was the whole chair was covered in plastic with the exception of the arm rests keeping the germs from getting in the cracks of the dental chair. They took all the necessary precautions to ensure my safety and others given the COVID situation we're in. For any recommended dental work, they also explain the pros and cons but i dont feel like its a sales pitch which other offices have pushed like they all learned from the same dental sales conference.
