I have lived in Westfield for several years and have tried three of the nearest nail salons now. I must have read the reviews about this place before--but avoided it for some reason because it's the closest to me. I go to Thai Issan next door all the time but never set foot into H20. Decided to give it a chance today based on the recommendation of a local influencer who said to mention her. They had no idea who I was talking about and didn't offer any discount even though they asked if it was my first time and I showed them her instagram. The nail tech I had was rough and used hot stones over my ankle bones in a way that was not thoughtful or intentional. She was just going through the motions and didn't seem to care if she hurt me. She was also very pushy--more so than most places to upsell the service which I politely declined more than once. The lighting is not very pleasant and this is not as nice of a salon as the others I've been in Westfield. They charge the exact same price for a pedicure as a brand new salon nearby. There was also a lot more chatter and laughter that appeared to be at the patrons expense. Will not return. 3/5 stars only because the nails turned out satisfactorily. read more

My usual nail spot was booked the week of Thanksgiving, so I opted to try a new salon since I needed to fix my janky nails before my mom noticed at the dinner table (LOL). I called H2O day-of and they booked me in for later that night. I've heard that holiday weeks are the busiest for most salons, as all their clients want to look their best before going home for the holidays. Note to self to book much earlier in the future! When I arrived at my appointment time, there was a sign-in sheet at the counter and it looked like I was sixth down the list. I waited for a full half hour with four other people and no one was called back during that time. Since I wasn't even at the top of the list, I considered leaving because I had a meeting to get to that night and not a ton of time. As I was on the verge, a team member came to the front and brought us all to chairs in the back as a group. My nail tech did a great job as I tried to navigate calling into my meeting while getting my nails done and kept had to switching hands. He worked super quickly and everyone there was hustling hard. They had a sign on the door that said they were looking to hire, so they seemed very aware of the fact that customers were waiting and they were doing their best. My manicure was super quick but turned out looking very pretty and professional. The nail tech did the exact length and shape of nail that I was describing, so overall, I left satisfied. I'm sure that if I returned on a less popular week, there wouldn't be wait times to worry about. I think they maybe just shouldn't have said yes to so many of us coming in at the same time. The salon itself is very clean, open, bright and pretty. The only thing that would be helpful to add would be labels on all the nail colors that show whether they are for paint, gel or dip. Since no one was working the counter in the lobby and all the customers were digging through the color samples together, we didn't know which were for what type of polish. Overall, I'd definitely return. The price was good too -- $45 for a dip manicure (which usually lasts over a month). read more

I rarely get my nails done and when I do I usually pick red or something really boring. I was feeling bold today and went way out of my comfort zone. I decided to treat myself to a gel mani and gel pedi. I had one other not so great job here before and have been using another salon and they were booked so I decided to give H2O another shot. For my pedicure I picked a navy blue color and for my nails I picked a taupe color. Stupid me was reading a book and all into it so I wasn't paying too much attention and just enjoying the relaxing experience and I've ended up with purple sparkly toenails. My nails did not look too bad until I got out into the sunlight, and they are very uneven, the corners of a couple of them did not even have nail polish on them so I had to file them down. The topcoat went over onto my skin for as much as I paid they look horrible, and I will not return. read more

Do not go here!! My nails are so far from what I asked for and showed pictures of. Wrong shape, length, and not symmetrical at all. My nails look embarrassing to say the least. The employees were fine but not hospitable at all. There were 6 different employees hanging around in massage chairs, playing loud videos on their phones, eating, drinking, etc. Not a single thing in that place looked clean. The polish bottles were crusty, nail lights covered in dust and polish, the table was covered in nail clippings when i got there so i just had to sit my hands down on someone else's mess. Just gross all together. Oh, and also ridiculously priced. Everything is an up charge. My acrylic gel full set took them 30 mins. That's about half the time it normally takes. Recently went to get 60 minute foot massages with my mom. Called earlier in the day and it was very easy to make an appointment. When you walk in, you check in at the desk in front of the nail salon portion of the salon. The staff was courteous and walked us back down a hallway to the massage chairs. The area was very clean. The massage itself was very good. However, the downfall is that the music was very loud pop music and staff was loud and talking. Our masseuses were not talking while working but we could clearly hear loud conversations from the nail portion of the salon. This made it hard to have a relaxing experience. I schedule my appointment for 930AM 081222 a week in advance, rearranged conference calls so I could have just one moment of treating myself to something. Arrived at the Westfield location, only to have someone scream from behind a wall, " Manicure or Pedicure, pick your color". Please note this is my first time at H2O and customer service is high on my list. Once someone finally came to the receptionist desk, I gave my name and told them I had a 930 appointment for a full set of nails, but the person that was to do them had not arrived. So, I had to wait, after waiting for some time a walk-in came in, she was taken right back. Of course, I am checking the time and still the technician to do my services had not arrived, so I left. This review is to remind people in the service industry that time and first impressions matter. I may have been happy with the service, but I will not know that now. I went here recently with my mom for a mani/pedi. It was so fun! The pedicure chair is a massage chair and I LOVED it. The atmosphere was relaxing and unique; the staff were mostly Asian and the TV showed different Asian foods which was tantalizing to watch :( I really wanted sushi after watching. Unfortunately they were sold out of the nail polish I chose for my manicure, and the other color my tech chose wasn't something I would have originally gone with (I had wanted sparkly silver). I didn't realize until after he painted my nails that it was purple but c'est la vie. Also my tech didn't seem to know English well so I was hesitant to speak up. I usually go to a different salon, but traffic was bad, so I decided to try H2O salon. It was unfortunately a pretty bad experience. I needed a dip removal and decided to just do regular polish, so regular manicure. When I arrived, I was the only client. One technician was fixing another technician's nails and they were seated next to me. My technician (didn't get her name) spoke with the other technicians. Once she started taking the dip off, they all started looking at me and chuckling. I looked at all three of them and finally one said to me, since you're removing dip and just doing a regular manicure, it'll be an extra $7. To which I said okay, but what am I supposed to do? Get up and leave? There are no prices anywhere, anyway. Another client came in and was seated. The tech started working on her nails and midway through also said something like, "oh you want brown? That's going to be an extra $5. " Anyway, my total was $30 for dip removal and a regular manicure. A little pricey, but I would have been okay with it, If the manicure turned out well. I don't think she prepped my nails well bc right away something looked off. But within less than 24 hours, the polish is bubbling, peeling, and clearly uneven. If you're looking for a somewhat cheaper nail salon that can achieve a below decent manicure/pedicure this is your place. With in the first week of getting my gel manicure, my nail polish was peeling and chipping off. My hopes for this place weren't very high coming in based off previous reviews, but I thought I'd give it a try. Walking in, the first thing I noticed, was how unsanitary it was. Not to mention, the lack of organization with their scheduling. We had a scheduled appointment time, yet me and the three other people I came with didn't get seated until about 15-20 minutes later. Even after being seated we still waited an additional 10 minutes. My sisters nail tech (who was very much available) didn't start on her nails until my nails were almost completed. Customer service there is rough, the middle aged lady who did my nails looked as if she didn't want to be there at all. She continuously would get up through out my session, and sit on the massage chair to text or call someone. Yet even with all the continuous "breaks", my nails were very rushed. She was extremely aggressive with my cuticles, I could do a better job at home. The end result left my nails uneven and bumpy. Like I said, this place can do your nails, just not great execution. This place was cheaper compared to most other places in the area, but I'd rather pay an additional $10-$15 for it to be executed well, and to have have a gel manicure that lasts me over a week. The man who work the front desk was very helpful, seemed to actually care about doing his job, unlike my nail tech. read more

She had 2 fake nails on from a couple weeks ago and the nail tech told her it would be $10 to take the 2 nails off on top of the $40 we were already quoted. (I told them about the 2 nails when I booked the appt). When my daughter got the pedicure, they didn't even massage her feet/legs- AT ALL. They removed her old polish and changed it. That's all. She asked the tech why he didn't massage her feet and he ignored her. We always go to ZEN nails in Carmel but they were all booked up so we decided to give H2O a chance. Big mistake. It seems that all of these "5 star" reviews where written by the employees that work at this nail salon. I must say that my review comes just 2-3 weeks after this business opened its doors and I hope that they can improve as they go on. With that being said this was my experience: I didn't catch the "nail techs " name (I should have), I was so over this manicure/full set that I just wanted to get it over with and leave. First of all, She cut my nails way to short and did it before she asked me how long or short I wanted them. Second, I asked for almond shape and she gave me Stiletto (my nails were way to short for stiletto) I told her to please round the nail more but it was a lost cause, the more she filed them the shorter and pointier they got. Half way thru this disaster, She notice my uncomfortable demeanor and kept asking me if I like them, I told her I did not like them but that I would gladly pay for them, but I just did not like them( I think I have a right to say that without wanting them for free).......We awkwardly talked about nail shapes and their names, which she responded by asking one of her younger employees to fetch the sample hand on which each finger nail had a different shape. The younger employee also pulled up a picture on her phone of an "almond shape" which looked exactly what I wanted. The younger employee gave me an apologetic nod and I told her it's to late because they where to short to shape them into almond and I told her that my nail tech cut them before she asked which length I wanted. With all of that said and done, in my opinion, I felt like the tech hurried along with the rest of her job just to get me out of there, I don't know why, I was super calm and friendly about the whole incident. when she put the polish on my nails, she did only two coats and the color was translucent on some of the nails. That's it ‍, I paid, and I gave a verbal customer review to the young lady checking me out and I told her to tell my tech to: ask the customer which length before she cuts nails, have their sample hand out to show the customers different shapes of nails, it would help out a lot. I hope if you read this you take my experience with a grain of salt and if you decide to go into this business I hope you have a wonderful experience! Disappointed: -They put me with a very nice tech who had to communicate with me through another tech. My tech didn't have enough training to do the simple nail art I requested. I question if they were even licensed to be a nail technician. -They sat myself and two other customers RIGHT next to each other even though there were half a dozen empty stations available where we could have spaced out for COVID safety. -They waited to inform me, in the middle of getting nail art that what I wanted, and had I showed them immediately upon arrival, that it would cost me $20 extra. -As multiple new customers arrived, they told them the wait was 5 minutes when it was easy more like 30-45. -The stations were covered with dip powder and I never saw anything cleaned or sterilized. Multiple times my tech would borrow a tool the other techs had just been using on other clients. -The techs were talking among themselves the entire time, often yelling at each other, which added to my stressful visit. -They didn't cut my cuticles, put lotion on, massage my hands, nothing. Only painted (dip powder) my nails. -Their prices are not easily found. A plain dip manicure costs $42 (without nail art). COVID aside, it was the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. read more
