I usually only go to one nail salon but couldn't today because my go to is closed on Mondays. I tried here because the reviews weren't that bad and it's close to home. Should've never went. The guy seemed very rushed the whole time and wasn't happy. He told me my fingers are too stubby and to crack them, and then also my fingers are too long that's def not the most professional thing to say to a customer. Then he cut around my skin on two fingers, and it hurt so bad but I didn't want to say anything because he already seemed mad. 6 hours laters and I'm at home soaking my finger in epson salt because now one of the fingers he cut deep into is swollen and infected. I've never felt so much pain from something so small. I highly would not recommend going here. read more

Today is the day I did it! Full set with gel and I absolutely love my nails. From the tips, acrylic, and gel Kelsey was spot on. My nails were sculpted to perfection and polished till they were full, thick and very glossy. For this being my first time getting a full set, my experience was nothing less than AMAZING! Furthermore, my man feet has been transformed into lady feet lol. I am not surprised since every time I come to Kelsey she pedicures and polishes my toes to a glossy mirrored perfection (I only get gel polish now). Very nice. They didn't rush my yearly scale removal and toe shine, instead had a very relaxed, pleasant experience. The ladies were very nice, and efficient, and did a great job on my poor ugly feet. I've been to their other location, and like this one a touch better. It's prettier. Never ever thought I would like orange walls, but they manage to work it. The polish selection is confusingly awesome... Not just red, but every shade of it. Lots of dark purples, sparklies, blues and greens. I don't see yellow or orange, but there are some golds. I didn't get what I asked for. And when I commented that a nail was crooked, I got yelled at. Apparently it was my fault the nail was crooked. This salon is close to my home and I have always had quality nail work. I have acrylic gel nails and get them filled regularly. I also get pedicures approx. 1x per month. The pedicure massage chairs are divine. They don't make the water too hot also. I get the Orange scrub service that includes removal of hardened skin on the heels. The leg massage is wonderful also. For the acrylic nails, I love a rounded, short shape. Yen did a great job last time and took her time to do the job right. She carefully removed my old nails, as they were splintered and applied a new set. They make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I've been to many salons in Hamilton County. I got a pedicure as a very rare treat and was looking forward to a relaxing treatment. I requested callous treatment, which was supposed to include a 10 minute foot/leg massage and other things. My whole experience took about 1/2 hour, including the dryer. I think the esthetician started the 10 minute timer the moment I sat down. It felt rushed and my heels don't feel smooth at all. The polish doesn't even look nice. They weren't busy - Just myself and one other person in the place. I'm disappointed and won't be back. read more

This was my first time to this location and I absolutely loved it. I received a sweet honey pedicure from Lily and it was fabulous. After she prepped my nails, she poured hot honey down my legs and feet and massaged it in for several minutes. After the honey was cleaned she did a second massage with lotion. Just so amazing. She kept reminding me to relax which was easy to do since there was calm music in the background instead of afternoon talk shows. First let me say I'm picky and I own a coloring hair salon, so my first priority is customer service when I visit any establishment because let's be honest we can spend our money anywhere right! I have been getting my nails and feet done every 2-3 weeks for over 10 years and wanted to find a new place that was consistent and really valued their clients... Fancy Nails II exceeded it as soon as I walked in, everyone spoke, I was promptly attended to by one of the employees that was not even servicing me that evening, Great teamwork. But in my best Hooray (cheerleader voice) Shoutout to Jason, who stayed later than he should, and gave extra special attention to my prized possession MY FEET I also got my nails done which were perfect as well! The atmosphere was nice and serene Last but not least clean with no strong chemical smell So again thank you Jason I'll see you in two weeks P.S. I have only felt this type of service out of town on a birthday trip. This felt more like a hospitality when you walk into someone's home because Jason went out of his way to make sure I was happy and reminded me that he was there to make me happy and to let him know if there was anything else he could do. The location is up and coming and I was very pleased with the venue. Great space, well decorated, and comfy chairs. Their color selection is a little limited (perhaps because they're new?) but I chose nice ones regardless. The man who did my nails had talons (dirty ones) himself, so that's not ideal. It also seemed like he rushed a bit - my mom and I went together and began our mani/pedis at the same time, but I was done much earlier. why? I've never reviewed anywhere before but this was the worst nail experience I've had. First when I was seated they left the old towl on the wrist pad that was covered in the last person's nail clippings and didn't remove it the whole time...disgusting. Secondly it was the most PAINFUL fill in I have ever experienced..the "tech" was not careful,super rough and on EVERY single nail left the electric file on so long it burned and cut most of my fingers skin. Lastly the end result SUCKED..I spent the past 30 mins trying to file out his mistakes..the tech was named Steve to warn future customers. First time there and wont be returning. read more

These people tricked my 15-year-old daughter into spending $15 more than she planned, because she didn't know the nail color she selected was a "gel". I politely asked them to credit the $15, but they refused. Deception is no way to build your customer base. While this location is the closest to our house, we will drive an additional two minutes to give our future business to one of the 20 competitors in this area. I am new to Indy and I wanted to find a place that wasn't extremely expensive but also wasn't unsanitary or an unpleasant atmosphere in which to spend an hour or two. I walked in and was immediately greeted and helped. This is probably because they weren't busy, but still appreciated. The facility was nice and clean, and well decorated. My tech, Kelsey, advised me of a new powder technique they use on your nails that is better than gel and works better on thin nails like mine. My pedicure felt amazing and looks perfect. She also did an amazing job on my nails, taking ample time to make sure they were good. Kelsey told me how much everything cost along the way so I wouldn't be shocked at the end which is what usually happens to me at nail salons. She kept up conversation and was so courteous. I was very excited to visit this salon due to the very beautiful nails I saw in the reviews. My experience at this establishment wasn't what I expected due to the many positive reviews. My nail tech was a woman, she seemed frustrated and preoccupied with something going on in her personal life. She was on her phone several times even got up and to talk to someone on her personal phone. While I understand things happen just a "I have to to take this call" would have been nice. After she came back she seemed even more aggravated. She filed my nails so intensely she was rubbing the skin around my nails.I had blisters on my fingers the next day from friction the next day. Another issue I didn't notice at first was how dirty her station was. She was showing me, the color of my nails under the light on her desk; when she accidentally hit the light with something. Dust went all over my wet nails, she hurried to remove the dust from my nails by adding another clear coat. While she was fixing the problem, that's when I noticed how filthy her station was. The residue from a lot of other customers, almost 1/2 inch high on her station. While my nails were beautiful and I got very many compliments I will not be going back, which sucks. I went 40 mins out of my way to try this place out and I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place and the poor customer service. I understand everyone has a bad day but when you are in physical contact with someone else you need to drop your personal baggage at the door. I have done hair for 12 years, I know what it's like to go into work and be angry at the world but if you want to keep your money coming in you just can't act that way. read more
