Pool leaks. Was referred to Ward by a reputable Pool Company. I called H2 Operations as they were local. Ward was on vacation. His assistant called back. I told him it was a vinyl lined pool. The Pool is leaking still. Loosing lots of water. I call 4 more times in the following 2 and a half weeks with no reply . Finally got a response today and the assistant tells me they don't work on vinyl pools this time and he is going on vacation. Never talked to Ward. You need better customer relations and response time. I called another pool leak repair service and they answered the phone immediately and will be out in 3 days. Have a nice vacation. read more

About a month ago, we discovered that our in-ground pool had a leak since we were refilling it every other day despite using a solar cover to minimize loss of water via evaporation. Finally, I contacted H2Operations, a company that specializes in pool leaks and was so glad I did! Ward arranged to come out to assess our situation -- especially since we didn't see any signs of a leak with our equipment. It was obvious he knows his business. Within a couple of days, Ward provided us with a written assessment of what he believed was wrong and an estimate to have the repairs made. I'm guessing that there aren't many services like the one Ward provides, so the price seemed reasonable to get the leak repaired and we could stop wasting water. Turns out there was a small hole in a very old copper pipe return line located underground. Ward was knowledgeable enough to actually pinpoint the location where he had to dig to do the repairs. He's also quite professional. So very pleased we received a referral to him from Herb's Pool Service. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again -- though we hope not to any time soon! read more

We had a persistent water leak in our in-ground swimming pool, and spent all summer trying to diagnose/repair it. First, another well-known leak detection company came out. They found the skimmer needed replacement and bid that work. We got a second well-known pool company to bid, and they, too, found the skimmer to be the culprit. Their bid was more competitive so we went with them. We also had the first leak company come BACK out to assess why the water level was continually falling below the skimmer. They then found a drain leak, and "repaired" it underwater for hundreds of dollars. $2500+ later, our pool water was still draining daily. First leak company wouldn't guarantee their work because we missed the 30 day window (really??). Second pool company that did the skimmer repair insisted their work was not failing. Out of desperation I called a wonderful company called Blu Dolphin who took the time to call me back with Ward's name and number. Ward was amazing in his response, his professionalism, and his work. He found that the drain leak hadn't been adequately repaired, and would need a bigger fix in the near future. He managed to temporarily epoxy the leak without draining the pool, and for the first time since May, our water level is stable. It's a huge relief, and even though we know we have to do a more substantial repair (Ward's fix is short term), we know we can work with Ward and trust his repair work. Last week I noticed my pool was losing water, about an inch+ a day....panicked I called our pool and solar company, they both provided companies for leak detection who I called, were very pricey with no guarantees and a 10+ day wait. I found Ward's company here and e-mailed Thursday night. He returned my reply promptly, scheduled a visit for the following Monday. He called before to give me his timing, showed up and dove in. He found my leak (in the bottom drain) and was able to fix it. He included the fix in his detection estimate. Phew! When your pool starts losing water, you have a sick to your stomach feeling for days--Ward made it go away. We are 48 hours out, water tight and ready for summer again. My pool guy and several others I spoke to all recommended H2Operations to me. I bought a home with an old pool with an old 1950s skimmer - large enough to fit my 4 year old child in! It was clear something wasn't working right since it was rigged up with external tubing, and that there might be leaks. Not only that, there was no drain and no light fixture.. Well I was extremely pleased with the work Ward did - I was told he was the best in detecting leaks etc... but turns out he is also excellent at repairs too. Ward was professional, honest, on time, and saved me money! He was able to change out my skimmer without digging up all the piping between the pool and filter/pump. It would have been easy for him to do so and charge me for it, but he carefully pulled out the damaged pipe to save me $ and then patched everything up with very well matched concrete. He put in a new drain, and put in a dummy light for me as I couldn't afford (nor did I want to) to rig new electrical for my non-functioning light. I'm in the process of buying a home with a pool that is about 25 years old. The pool had some major cracks that I was concerned about, so I called Ward to see if he would be able to come by and take a look. While his schedule was really busy and he wasn't able to make it (he is clearly in demand!), he went above and beyond to spend time on the phone with me (over multiple phone calls) to discuss options and how to approach addressing the cracks and any potential leaking. I could not have been more impressed - he really seemed to genuinely care. Found a leak in our (not even 7 yr. old pool) last summer and began the search for someone to figure out where the leak was coming from. Found a good leak detection guy (did not know about Ward & H20 Operations @ this point) but did not know who to call to repair. After a few bozos coming in/out out of our backyard, lots of invoices to pay with no resolution, I was FINALLY referred to Ward. Problem solved. Confirmed the leak was in our pool sweep line. We live a fair way out of town, so it can be challenging to get people out here, and we rely on our well for water, so when the pool started leaking we had to get someone to sort it out quickly.
