The estimate was done the same day, I felt some pressure to sign the deal that day but negotiated what I thought was fair. I was originally told a time frame 1-2 weeks earlier than what happened, which is one of the reasons why this is losing a star. Eric, the construction manager, came by with Dan a few weeks later to do an initial construction walk through and he also suggested adding another level/ stairs and helped me figure out a drain situation. I appreciated the feedback and ideas. Overall, both Dan and Eric went the extra mile and were responsive when I reached out. The week of construction, communication on when they were coming, progress, etc could have been better from the Crew itself but it is a sub-contractor.. (which is the other reason for one less star). The team worked hard in 80+ degree heat 5 days in a row, were very polite to me and the job was done quickly. Eric did a final walkthrough with me and I pointed out a couple minor flaws and they were quickly repaired the following week to my satisfaction. Overall, I recommend this company as they back up their product and have a good warranty. Our experience with TerraFirma was insane. We are seniors and my husband is in hospice. Their employee proceeded to tell me that our home had not flooded, that IF it flooded it was somehow our fault or I was a liar. He refused to acknowledge our buckled floors that you can visibly see and feel when you are walking in the damaged areas. The man was insane. Needless to say, I kicked him off our property. Thank goodness hospice workers were driving up our driveway, or he would not have left. Hospice saw that I was visibly upset with the man's insane behavior.
