A solid place if you're in the mood for authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food. I'm surprised that they have dim sum until 3 PM which includes fried turnip cake and BBQ steamed buns. They also have lunch special until 3 PM for Chinese food which includes fried rice and egg rolls. The pho is tasty but not as good as some of the other Vietnamese places in Pinellas Park. The broth is too dark and salty. But the banh mi was definitely better than some places. We got the BBQ pork banh mi. Overall a solid place. Deduct stars for somewhat rude and slow service. I was craving a Bahn mi sandwich as I saw they served Vietnamese food as well as Chinese. My mother-in-law got the house lo mein which was delicious. On the other hand my Bahn mi was not good at all. I have to do an update based on not 1 but half a dozen experiences. Their service level has gone dramatically down hill. Labor issues is I'm sure impacting them but I was there recently watching an owner in high heels ignoring her customers and employees that are flailing trying to keep up. I hope they figure it out as they're the only dim sum option in Dunedin but it's not worth it anymore when the time to get your food is the equivalent to driving to Tampa. Even though their food is mediocre at best. It had at least other offerings besides fried rice but every order we place takes 3x's longer than almost any other places in Dunedin. If they have more than 6-8 tables, your food and service will take a very long time. So before you get snippy with the servers, this is an owner/management issue. Their servers are drowning trying to keep up while owners ignore their patrons and staff. Ordering was super easy over the phone and wait time upon arrival was really short. When I walked in I was surprised to see just how spacious the restaurant was and how many people were in the main dining room. Did these people know about a hidden gem all this time and I didn't? The gentleman at the front brought my order from the kitchen and told me it was $87 without presenting me with a printed check. I asked him for a printed itemized check because of the review I read regarding their dishonesty with pricing. He told me they were busy and he couldn't get one. After i insisted for the third time he said it would take a really long time and I chose to wait for the printed check. After about 10 minutes and watching him do the same act with two other people he returned with my check and it was $81.74!! I didn't call him out for lying to me and trying to give himself a tip. I obviously didn't leave him a tip and as I was leaving he mumbled "cheap" under his breath. There are many things wrong with this situation and to say the least I won't be returning and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. There food was not very good to boot. The Rangoon are empty pockets of breading. The potstickers are ok but very bland. The SPICY orange chicken... very bland. Beef broccoli has more gristle than beef. The chicken is very low grade... maybe it's not chicken... ‍ the fried rice is plain rice without veggies or seasoning. The wonton soup even has gristle in the meat! None of this is even edible... $60 later... I'm posting a picture of what's left of the beef broccoli & fried rice as you see it's not good, it's bland, not edible & full of gristle.
