The beef shawarma plate was great, two sides baba ganoush and hummus were excellent, I really enjoyed the unique flavors that they added to the dishes. Oh ya, definitely try the mint lemonade it's epic! Very friendly service and family oriented business, dinner was amazing.

I can't believe I didn't know about this place before! I practically inhaled the food--got the chicken shawarma fries and a kafta beef plate, and wow... I don't even have the words. Just go eat there, and you'll understand why!

Habibi Grill is a relatively new spot. Even if there's no one inside, I recommend giving Habibi Grill a try! There are plenty of seats and the space is clean. The staff are friendly and will help you figure out what you want from the menu. The chicken shawarma wrap is a solid choice, especially if you're overwhelmed with options. I also tried the Protein Salad with chicken shawarma. The dressing has a strong citrus/lemon flavor so ask for the dressing on the side if you prefer to add it to your liking. The chicken shawarma pieces were tasty! I'm excited to try out the other items on the menu! :)

The chicken shawarma wrap was so tasty. So many flavors in every bite, we came in close to closing and that did not stop the quality of service they provided. The mint lemonade was honestly so delicious and refreshing on a hot day! I will be returning here, amazing food and service.

My boyfriend and I were craving shawarma after playing pickleball today and we found this place on Google. The food looked super delicious so we decided to make the drive. We were not disappointed! We arrived around probably 5:30pm on a Sunday evening and ordered on the kiosk, and it didn't take long at all for us to get our food - I'd say probably 10-15 minutes. The store was fairly empty. We got the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken shawarma wrap and we were both very satisfied. The baba ganoush I included with one of my sides for the plate was really good as well, and the fries my boyfriend got were also delicious and crispy. Service is also amazing and they checked up on us. The store had a very warm and inviting atmosphere as well, which makes it a nice to place to dine in. This will probably be my go-to place whenever I am craving Middle Eastern food!

I was a little disappointed this time because I ordered sweet potatoes, and it didn't come with my order. I guess I was a little peeved that it took so long since I was the only customer, but I should have checked the entire order before leaving. The guy who handed it to me even tried to double-check, but sigh. I also didn't get the right sides because I only got hummus and not tabouli, too. Sad story because I remember it tasting pretty good the first two times, but it was closer to their opening. The pita bread tasted like plastic, and it smelled very strange. That weird aftertaste kind of permeated through the rest of the dish. However, the beef was very tasty by itself. I also had an issue ordering online with Grubhub for pickup before, so I had to go in-store to order. I'd suggest just ordering in person or on their official websites because you won't be able to see the full menu. I think next time, I'd go elsewhere just because I'm a little disappointed they could make such mistakes when they're not busy.

Great food, quality, and friendly staff! All the food is halal. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate and chicken tawook plate. Both tasted homemade! Also had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were very friendly! You can tell they take pride in serving high quality food. Can't wait to try other menu items!

Nice lil mom and pop type place! The owners were there when I went and seemed like very humble people. Overall felt like a rare family owned place. They do practice halal here and pride themselves on it which is awesome. All ingredients tasted very fresh. Ordered: Chicken shawarma plate - large portion, great quality. If you like it extra saucy be sure to order extra sauce. Chicken tawook - great seasoning, not dry at all Parking is very easy right in front of the restaurant. Will be back!

OMG!! Fantastic totally fresh food. Cooked after you order. Remember that quality is worth the wait. All the meat is Halal, never frozen. Loved it. I ordered the Protein salad with Kafta. Yummy. Food is ready quicker if you order online.

Gelin Cara T.

For the price, I felt like the food could've been a little bit better. I'm definitely willing to come by and try it out again though. The Habibi Burger was good but my plate was aiight. They ran out of hummus and was a little bummed, but it's ok. Service was friendly and the person at the register was patient. I did come at an off-time right before dinner so it was quiet. Ambiance seemed chill and again, I came at an off-time and also did takeout.

the quality of food is great and the service is excellent. I love the chicken tawook sandwich here and the meat is halal (Hand slaughtered Zabihah). Call ahead of time and they make everything fresh and it's not processed fast food. Must try this hidden gem. The Salad (Fatoush) is very fresh and amazing.

Season S.

Very nice experience here! The man, whom I'm assuming was the owner, was very friendly and explained dishes to me since I wasn't familiar with some of the words or how to pronounce them. Everything on my plate was delicious and the hummus and fresh pita were so good. The chicken was juicy and everything together was amazing ! Highly recommend checking this place out and supporting them.

Czarina V.

Today's little plate of heaven with a bit of everything--as suggested by the lovely owner whom we met yesterday--was as wonderful as she promised it would be. And so my Habibi cherry has been popped and now I know where to go for legit middle eastern fare nearby. Family owned joints like Habibi are worth every penny and support IMHO. More power to you guys!

I'm delighted to learn that they deliver. We enjoy the meal, and everyone we've worked with has been fantastic. We'll be placing another order soon. When our waitress brought our food out, he discussed each item and the different sauces. Even though I am familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine and its fiery sauce, I appreciated the heads up. Everyone we've worked with has been extremely pleasant and accommodating. You may get decent Middle Eastern food elsewhere, but I believe the quality here is far superior, and the warmth and friendliness of the owners and personnel cannot be matched. read more

The restaurant is a flavor bomb, and the chicken over rice with extra sauce is the culinary equivalent of a mic drop. The chicken? Juicy and tender. The rice? Seasoned and delicious. The sauce? This place is my only go to for falafel, tabbouleh, and babaganoush. Those 3 are my absolute favorites and these guys and girls do it the best! The tabbouleh has that undeniable, delicious, hit of preserved lemon and sumac and the babaganoush tastes like the eggplant has been cooked over coals. I have looked at, and been to, other places but, nah. These guys are always constantly, my favorite. Plus, it's nice when the patrons engage in conversation with one another as to the quality and joy of eating and as well as paying homage to the quality and joy, there in, of the food being prepared! Such a enjoyable meals from this tiny little place. Go again! read more

This is my new favorite spot! We got the half and half schwerma plate and the kofta plate. Downside is that portions of meat for the kofta plate are smaller than I thought, so it might not be filling enough for you. Each plate comes with 2 sides and pita bread. Hummus and baba ganoush were yummy. My least favorite was tabbouleh because it was too sour for me. Overall, good flavor and would definitely recommend! read more

Expensive and not tasty. This place claims to be Arabic food but it's not even close to it. My shawarma sandwich, tasted like a burrito and I didn't understand why it was on a tortilla. The other sandwich I got was not good either. I spent $25 on 2 sandwiches that were gross. I'll never return here. If your looking for Arab food this isn't the place for that. read more

My boyfriend picked this place due to the consistent positive reviews and unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. We both got the chicken shrawma plates and after 30 min of waiting he was told by what seemed like the only person working there that they had ran out of rice and needed to make more. The other customers in there were very upset as they had been waiting long as well so the employee told everyone to treat themselves to soft drinks as an apology. My bf then asked to just put double salad instead of rice since he didn't want to wait an hour for our food and when he got home it was full of dressing and hardly chicken at all. It was almost as if the employee was in a rush. I understand not all days can be perfect so I don't want to say don't go here but maybe put in your order ahead of time on the phone and ask how long it will be. read more

Great food, great hospitality! We ordered a lot of food for our family party and Habibi Grill managed to make each dish fresh and flavorful, even though it was a ton of food. And, here's the kicker these days: they got every single detail of our order correct. Our favorites were the Sheesh Tawook (Chicken), the fried eggplant salad, the cucumber/yogurt salad and the beef kofta. But really, every single thing we tried was excellent. And we were happy to support a small business in our community. read more

You order at the cash register and they bring the food to your table. I stopped by for takeout. The worker at the register was very friendly and helpful. He informed me it would take around 12 minutes to get my food but it came out nice and hot so I can't complain about the wait for fresh food. I got two orders of the beef shawarma plate. The portions were big. I think we could have shared one plate as we ended up having left overs. We also got some baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious. The prices here are very fair. We will definitely stop by again to try their other dishes.

I will say that the portion sizes have shrunk considerably in recent months compared to when we first started getting takeout from here--the shawarma plates used to be so generously portioned that I'd have a leftover meal for the next day after only finishing half of my order, but I can finish the plate now no problem. The styrofoam containers got much more shallow so you don't get as much for your money, unfortunately. That said, their chicken shawarma and rice are so delicious, and the garlic spread is perfectly creamy and flavorful. Easy online ordering system, often with BOGO deals that enable you to still get a lot of bang for your buck if you time it right. We have yet to dine in but enjoy how easy and quick pickup is, especially given their location right off the 5. On our way to being regulars now!

HOWEVER, this most recent order did leave us questioning couple things. Chicken Shawarma was dry this time and seems to have shrunk in quantity AND the pieces were VERY chopped up so didn't really get a good bite. Not much sauce/flavoring either. Compared to our first time ordering this... super disappointed. Not sure if we will order this again because of quality/quantity control. The Works... the size of the grape leaves seemed to have shrunk in half?? Not anything close to what we got the last time ordering this combo platter. Taste was great but it went from "busting out the seems fully wrapped" to "single bite size". Also, they missed the yogurt that comes along with each platter. Last time they missed some add-on sauces we paid extra for also. We even called to ask they double check the sauces because we didn't receive the correct items last time. First 2 orders were perfection and then these past 2 orders had some issues. Overall, I would give 3.5 Stars at this point.

I ordered a gyro, and I was disappointed by the portion size, it was noticeably very small for what you pay. It works in a pinch if you need a quick pickup meal, but between the small portions and the pre-made pita, it was a pretty average experience overall.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Habibi's Grill in La Mirada, and it was an exceptional experience. The owner's warm and friendly demeanor immediately made me feel welcome. What sets this place apart is its commitment to serving Zabiha Halal hand-slaughtered meat, ensuring delicious and ethically sourced dishes. I highly recommend trying the Beef Shawarma wrap - it's a delight! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the tenderness of the meat was outstanding. Every bite was a burst of deliciousness, making it clear that they prioritize both quality and taste. Beyond the fantastic food, the restaurant's ambiance is cozy and inviting, providing a pleasant atmosphere for a great dining experience. The staff is attentive and courteous, adding to the overall positive impression. If you're in La Mirada and looking for a spot with flavorful and halal options, Habibi's Grill is a must-visit. I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. Kudos to the owner and the team for creating such a fantastic dining destination! read more

Habibi Grill in La Mirada offers friendly service but slow delivery. Despite opening at 6:30 PM on a Friday night, the food is made to order, which results in longer wait times. I tried the chicken Tawook wrap combo, which came with seasoned fries and a fountain drink. The wrap was served in a flour tortilla, which felt more like a burrito than the expected wrap. The portion size was small, with barely any chicken inside, and not worth the price. The seasoned fries were the highlight of the meal, while the fountain drink had a strange, lack of syrup taste. Overall, it was a standard fast-casual experience, but I expected more. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. read more

This review is based on my first experience ordering from this middle eastern restaurant. After reading positive reviews, I was eagerly looking forward to trying their Shawarma sandwiches/wraps. Unfortunately, the two sandwiches I received were far from resembling traditional chicken or beef Shawarma. They lacked the authentic taste and ingredients and instead resembled more of a burrito. On the bright side, the service was commendable. However, if you're specifically craving Shawarma, I would advise looking elsewhere as this place didn't deliver on that front. Nonetheless, based on other reviews, I believe the rest of their menu offers delicious Middle Eastern dishes. I genuinely wish the owner all the best. read more
