I can't really say anything bad here, all is excellent! The establishment is small, but remodeled for an inviting clean atmosphere, with several pleasant turkish decorations. Parking is avaliable directly in front of the establishment. The food is excellent. This place stands out when compared to other Mediterranean spots in the area. They have different sides, sauces, and combinations. I prefer the chicken bowl, which is pretty filling for one person. The staff is kind, tentative, and makes the food fresh.

This is my second time coming with a friend. This restaurant is beyond excellent food, service and ambiance. The restaurant is small but is the best place you will ever try Mediterranean food. My two visits have gone outstanding! Thank you Pita Paradise!

Had the BEST kofta kabob ever. The meat was light, not making me feel heavy after like other kofta can do. The pita also had seasoning on it that made every bite a delight. The restaurant seems recently remodel and has a very nice feel. Rola was our cashier, she is very friendly and sweet.

What a hidden gem! Excellent food and super welcoming and kind service. The food is made fresh to order, and the little bit of a wait is well worth it. I had the chicken kabob plate, which came with tender and flavorful kabob, delicious rice, a grilled onion and pepper, grilled and lightly seasoned pita, and two sides. I chose the pickled veggies and mutabel (eggplant); both of which were incredible. There are tables inside for eating, and two small tables outside. I look forward to retuning! I loved that you could get the food for here or to-go. Thank you to the team!

3 Grilled Skewers - chicken, beef, beef kefta

Came here again to try the 3 skewer plate: chicken, beef, and kafta kebab. Clean & friendly staff as always. Absolutely delicious!!

A hidden gem in the city of La Mirada. The food was amazing and made-to-order. The establishment was very clean and well-maintained. Try out the Lentil Soup, it took me by surprise how flavorful it is! I tried the Beef and Chicken plate with rice, spicy hummus, and seasoned fries. 10/10 would return again. Thank you Pita Paradise (:

Rola has been amazing ! She has been serving me the best Mediterranean meals for lunch since I discovered the place. I get the mixed Shawarma with Mediterranean salad and humus. The meal is always fresh. There is rarely a line, and it's calm and relaxing inside.

I recently gave Pita Paradise a try and while the experience was okay, I wouldn't say it's a go-to for the shawarma. The shawarma felt a bit off to me; more like a panini-style burrito with fusion fillings rather than the classic wrap I was expecting. On the other hand, my friend ordered one of the kebab plates and it looked and smelled very good; the grilled skewers were clearly prepared well and seemed like a solid choice.

Unassuming in a strip mall behind Mr. V's Bar and Grill, but we were extremely impressed with the quality and taste of everything we ordered. We were coming here after walking the SFS Swap Meet for hours, so we were hungry and the food and portion size did not disappoint. We ordered the falafel plate, tabbouleh salad, grape leaves, and a cucumber yogurt salad. The pickled vegetables were crisp and fresh. The grape leaves were tart and bright and the falafel was crispy on the outside and steamy on the inside without being too greasy. We had a great meal and would definitely come back.

This is a cozy place with amazing food. A lot of places I've been have dry beef and chicken, but the meats here are tender and juicy! The rice that comes with the plates are seasoned well and everything goes well with the garlic sauce they have. I've also tried the wraps/sandwich they have and those are also great! A good proportion of meat, veggies, and sauce. Food is a 5/5, but my only complaint is the wait time for food can sometimes be quite long.

HOWEVER, this most recent order did leave us questioning couple things. Chicken Shawarma was dry this time and seems to have shrunk in quantity AND the pieces were VERY chopped up so didn't really get a good bite. Not much sauce/flavoring either. Compared to our first time ordering this... super disappointed. Not sure if we will order this again because of quality/quantity control. The Works... the size of the grape leaves seemed to have shrunk in half?? Not anything close to what we got the last time ordering this combo platter. Taste was great but it went from "busting out the seems fully wrapped" to "single bite size". Also, they missed the yogurt that comes along with each platter. Last time they missed some add-on sauces we paid extra for also. We even called to ask they double check the sauces because we didn't receive the correct items last time. First 2 orders were perfection and then these past 2 orders had some issues. Overall, I would give 3.5 Stars at this point.

There is a bell that you have to ring in order to get one. Remember to get it! It's very tender. The salad section was great. It had a good variety of greens, and they were all dressed and seasoned very well. I liked the big cucumber salad and the kale with pita chip salad the most. The pita chips as croutons were very nice and crispy. The hummus section was awesome. My favorite one is the green one. I think it's avocado? You should try them all! Don't get filled up on it, though--save room for the meats! Besides the lamb shank, I liked the kofta and the gyro. The first batch of kofta I had was very juicy, and the second was more on the drier side. Same goes for the gyro. It was cut kind of thick and was a little dry. The garlic sauce they have went very well with it! I also got the beets, and they were my favorite item. They were sweet and tender, cooked to perfection. The cantaloupe and honeydew were both very sweet. I think that's kind of hard to come by these days. Their pudding was okay, not my favorite. They sort of got an Indian mix in their buffet, the problem is that the curry is watered down, and the chicken over done or too loose. Luckily I'm not here for the Indian food. The grilled veggies was the real star of the show, I can't wait to go again to try their greens, but since there's that recall I'm playing safe, looked amazing though. The lamb was tender and great, although it's one shank per person there is a lamb rice dish on the buffet line and you can get more lamb meat. The beef kebab is pretty standard and the rose water is uniquely good. Although I did water mine down a little to reduce the sweetness. The desserts are great, usually the fruits at buffets aren't sweet but these were! The pasteries felt like it was Greek restaurant grade. Would come here again when I'm in the area, the price is great if you typically can eat two plates - cost of plates nowadays are too much elsewhere.

Still, we fondly remembered their generous, delicious portions, so we placed an online order. The website didn't give a readiness time, but remembering that they used to prepare everything fresh and take their sweet time, I told my husband we should wait a bit before heading out. When I walked in, the employees were chatting and laughing, which was nice to see. Then I noticed a pile of takeout orders sitting on a shelf. Hungry as I was, I silently prayed none of them were ours; I utterly despise cold food. I gave my name to the cashier--who skipped the greeting entirely--and was told it wasn't ready yet. I said thanks and took a seat. While I was waiting, another customer asked about her order and was initially dismissed with a "no." After a second look, the cashier called her back: "Oh, this is yours. It's been ready." No apology, just a cold shoulder. The customer was understandably ticked off. The real plot twist, however, happened when I got home. Apparently, "two skewers" now translates to a grand total of five pieces of chicken. That is definitely not what it used to be. To make matters worse, my worst nightmare came true: the food was cold. Well, not the chicken, but the french fries and pita bread were stone-cold and stale. Lately, I've been going to Luna Grill down the street. They actually serve fresh, much tastier food--and at prices that don't feel like highway robbery.

The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. I placed an online order for the baked fish plate around 12:45 PM and expected a bit of a wait since it was fish. After waiting about 25 minutes, I called and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was busy, so I understood. However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.
