I had the Gyro rice platter. It comes with hummus and a salad. Pretty good and definitely worth a try. I went around lunch and there weren't many people there so it was quick. It's connected to the ice rink if that's something you're interested in.

Supporting local in Sugar Land at Habibi Kitchen, next to Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center. Habibi means "my love" in Arabic . This family run restaurant serves authentic Arabic food, using their family recipes. Each item is made fresh. A unique item they offer is FRESHLY made sugarcane drink (it's their family recipe--with a little ginger and lime)! They also have falafel waffle on the menu. Their gyro wrap is delicious! Great place for vegetarians!! Located next to Sugar Land Ice & Sports. Check your receipts from Kroger's! There's a coupon on the back!! Closed Mondays

Avoid this place or call before ordering. Eaten here before but this is my last time I will be coming here to eat. I wanted a lamb shawarma and the lady said we are out of beef and lamb and fries. It's seems the only thing they had here is chicken. Placed an order at 12:30 and didn't get food until 1:00 and one of the plates was missing and the lady had to go back and make the missing plate. My wife wanted a kabab and the lady said the chef isn't here so she had to order a shawarma as well. I don't know why this place was even open in the first place if the chef wasn't there and only thing available was chicken. This is one of the worst experiences I have had. I seldomly write reviews but I felt a need to warn people of this place.

This is the Shawarma Platter!!! First time having it here and it was amazing!!! I can't wait to try more next time!!

It was my first time here and I went with the Shawarma Platter. It was amazing!!! The staff was very nice and friendly and they were helpful. I plan to try more next time when I'm back. Support these small businesses like Habibi Kitchen in Sugar Land. You'll love them, if you love Arabic/Mediterranean food!!!

I just want to say what a hidden GEM HK is such a wonderful place and the family that runs it are the most kindhearted amazing people. The food is out of this world. We had a special event held for more than 60 people and let me tell you there's wasn't one guest who didn't go out of there way to say how delicious everything tasted. There catering is phenomenal and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

Great food and great service. Chicken shawarma was very good on top of the rice. The sides like the hummus and tabouli were very fresh

The food is wonderful - very fresh and flavorful, with high quality ingredients. Chef John is a very experienced and accomplished chef with a background in various cuisines. The menu is extensive, featuring Mediterranean, Persian, and Indian cuisines. Everything from curry to shawarma to soltani to biryani to fish and chips. Kids menu available as well. We had hummus, tabouli, a Chicken Soltani plate, a Beef Soltani plate, saffron rice, fried spring rolls, baklava and Persian tea. Everything was delicious! The portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. This will be our new "go to" restaurant. Chef John is very kind and personable, and visited with our table personally. The staff was very kind and helpful. Order at the counter and your meal is brought to you. The address is 4645 Highway 6 at Dulles Ave., in the Welfresh parking lot. It is a cafe to the right of the sushi restaurant. There are tables inside and a couple of tables on the outdoor patio. They also have an extensive catering menu. Business hours are 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, and Wednesday-Sunday. Closed on Tuesdays. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself. You won't regret it.

Upon entrance we had to ask the server to bring us water. He was kind enough to bring my son another drink on the house. - Barg was a too chewy. - Interior is dated. Restrooms need to be cleaned. Overall: I would try this place again. Chef John was really nice and I kind of feel bad for leaving a neutral review.

It is on the lighter side and I wish there was more protein but for the amount of sides it's pretty decent. There's a lot of options and I usually do the family meals or one entree and 3 sides. Lamb shank 5/5 Also lightly seasoned but the lamb is so tender and falls right off the bone. Hummus 5/5 Love the different options they have. Pita 1/5 Dry as a brick. Lentil soup 5/5 Sweet and hearty. Guac 5/5 Pretty good guac

This was my third time I have given this location a try and this time was so bad I had to write about it. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma and the entire sandwich tasted like fish of all things! I wouldn't be surprised if today being a Friday is their Fish and rice day. So to me this means they have no problem throwing together a "chicken " shawarma sandwich using rice from the fish. How else could the whole sandwich taste infused with it. I paid over 15 dollars to have my stomach turned. Three strikes and you're out Fadi's in Sugar Land. I will NEVER eat there again!!!

When we entered the vibe was relatable to the name of the restaurant but after a few minutes we heard Bollywood songs and I love Bollywood songs but I feel like the vibe of the restaurant should relate to the cuisine and ambiance. It automatically gives an impression that the restaurant isn't Greek or Lebanese for example. Anyway, we had ordered kibeh and lentil soup for appetizers. The lentil soup was the worst lentil soup I've ever had it was frozen we asked them to heat it but it still tasted disgusting. I couldn't eat it. The kibeh was alright the dip with the kibeh was good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken shawarma plate and combo kebabs. The plates came with a salad the dressing was interesting but I'm not a fan of feta cheese so I didn't have the salad. The shrimps and chicken kebab of the combo kebabs were not bad I really liked the shrimps. The hummus was okay and the rice was very bland. The service was quick I believe because everything felt like it was pre-cooked except for the kebabs but the beef kebab wasn't cooked entirely one of the pieces it was raw. The shawarma was not good at all! Very disappointing Our bill was $60 and we were charged a 2.5% fees for credit card!

When we arrived on a Tuesday evening, it was empty other than maybe one other family. When we entered we were told to pick a seat and then given the menus. The second I saw the menu it seemed a bit expensive- I was looking at the vegetarian plate where you can pick 5 which was for $25 I think- I got falafels, tazeki, hummus, another spread, pickled turnips. They didn't have many other options that were appetizing- I'm not into the eggplant or okra. While waiting for the food the waitresses were sitting on their phones chatting laughing, I thought it was unprofessional, that's not what you want to see when you go to a nice place. We were given salad- the salad already had dressing on it which was spicy! Me and my friend could not figure out what it is - it was tangy spicy I think from garlic more chemically tasting rather than Cheyenne spicy. A bit too spicy for both of us. I would have wished they put the dressing on the side so we can add on our own. The food arrived and was given pita bread as well which was nice. The food was not flavorful, the hummus tasted Bland, falafels were actually pretty good but only were given . The pita bread I was hoping was gonna be fluffy but this was so thin and chewy didnt like it. Everything wasn't to my liking or lacking something except the falafels which I only had two of. I think the falafel wrap might have been a better option but due to the price I won't be back.

It turns out they were here all getting food from none other than Al Mankal Grill, a longtime bookmark and one of the gems of Sugar Land. They're in good company, as there are multiple Halal trucks, serving different cuisines and specializing in all kinds of food. The local following is impressive, but seeing as they have a perfect rating across different platforms, they're clearly doing something right. I ordered the beef and lamb chunks, a $27 (with tax) which had the perfect amount of char with just a hint of smokiness. Despite the price, I was floored at how delicious it was. The chicken shawarma arabi ($12) is a popular choice, while the mixed grill ($18) provides some variety between the meats. The chicken skewer ($6) and lamb with fat ($7) were both outstanding. The guy behind the window was friendly and dealt with every customer in a long line with ease. Credit cards are most definitely accepted and the wait for the food ended up being somewhere around 20 minutes. Unlike the other food trucks, they actually have outdoor seating with a few (albeit janky) picnic tables. This spot will become one of my most frequent when I'm in the area.
