Being six weeks in the area for work, I am discovering plenty of restaurants (familiar & new) for lunch and decided to try this place as I have not been in years (to a different location). Being that it was "Fat Friday" in our office and I brought donuts in for a late breakfast, I didn't want something heavy for lunch & I also wanted a deal and recalled seeing some 10.00 specials advertised on social media. I signed up for their rewards program as I placed my order online and ended up selecting their grilled chicken wrap with a side salad and a drink for 10 bucks (not a bad deal)! The wrap was fresh and tasty, and the salad was also fresh and a good size for a side salad. My order was packaged nice and neat. The store was very busy upon pick up, but very clean and was able to get in and out of there quickly (very congested area). The cashier who gave me my order was friendly and efficient and I grabbed my own fountain drink and on my way. Will definitely be back and looking forward to trying one of their burgers since it has been years that I've had one. read more

Wtf happened to diet pepsi? Now the only "diet" option is that horrible garbage called pepsi zero. I guess i wont be wasting my money on a drink. (The highest profit item on the menu) And cut my visits to the habit down to rarely instead of weekly. No pump ketchup only to go packets No a1 sauce No order pagers either. Went here today at around 3:30PM! We walked in and it was very clean inside and everything was well managed. The cashier , (which I believe was the manager), was very nice and was doing their job well. However, an older couple seemed to be extremely rude about their food. First they were bickering about the ice tea, that is made literally the same by the machine and the tea packet. Then they came back stating their food is terrible. So the team re-fired their food for them but they came back angry again. They demanded a refund extremely rude, I mean these customers were so rude. They got in the cashier's personal space when she was giving the refund, as they shouted (this was the worst food ever). I looked at the food that demanded was so bad but it looked amazing and like nothing was done wrong. I want to write because I know this couple will do the most, as I can see they were just being rude. So if corporate gets a call , I want you to know we had the same batch of food a couple minutes after them and it tasted amazing! Placed my order online through the app and pickup was a breeze. The one lady behind the counter was amazing and efficient! She was taking orders, packing up orders, and she knew which bags went to whom when they came up to the counter for pickup. I tried one of their limited time special chicken wraps. I really don't like here because everything on their menu is overpriced. I just ordered Double Char Burger with cheese combo. It costed me almost $19, and it was very disappointing meal. The burger was small in size and it was mediocre in taste. Fries were cold and overcooked. I personally couldn't find anything better than other fast food restaurants such as Burger King. I am giving two stars because the restaurant has comfortable seating booth with clean interior, and cashier was nice. My recent couple of experiences here have been disappointing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt last time I was here. However it happened again. I usually place online orders and the estimated pick up time is always wrong. I am not talking by a few minutes either. It is usually 20-30 minutes after my projected time. It is not even that busy when I arrive. However mostly everyone is just waiting just like me. It seems like they want everything automated. They want customers to order at kiosks or online. I never see cashiers taking orders. I also only see 3-4 people working. I feel disappointed. I also need to remember to order my burger well done. I came in 20 minutes before closing, and the place was already a mess. They were mopping the floor with trash everywhere, putting away drinks, and disinfecting containers where food is prepared. When I asked a worker what was going on, he said they start cleaning early when there aren't any customers, but literally two other customers came in after me. Completely unprofessional and disgusting. I stayed because I was in a rush to get to work and hadn't eaten all day, but I usually love The Habit, especially this location, so this experience was extremely disheartening. I will not be returning to this restaurant and, honestly, this has turned me off from the entire chain. I came in on Friday around 8, and ordered 3 fish sandwiches. I selected NO ONION for one of the sandwiches as my sister has a moderate onion allergy. Unfortunately, I did not notice until I got home and I did not feel like driving back. I reached out to customer complaint immediately, it's been over a week now and I have yet to hear back from them. This is unacceptable as one small mistake could have lead to serious repercussions. I am a burger person so I decided to try the Habit Burger today. The Habit burger is very close from my home. Great location! I tried charburger w cheese w half fries half onion rings, soft drink. It took almost 15 mins then buzzed to pick the food up. It looked fresh cooked, so crunchy. I love bread crumb covered onion rings. That is exactly my fave onion rings. Super crunchy, so tasty. French fries were much better than In n Out. The inside is bright w the casual ambiance, big Santa Barbar picture on the wall. Pretty much just like other fast food burger restaurants. Let's talk about the burger, the bun is lightly toasted, the patty was not dry, fresh cut lettuce, grilled onions, tomatoes. Everything was so fresh. I really liked the onion rings. Half half order was great for me. The original charburger price is affordable, about $8. I can come to taste other burgers. The quality of foods are 5 stars. It was exactly lunch time when I got there and noticed not too packed on Sat. Great for me and I can relax enjoying a new burger. Pros Order: easy at the counter or use kiosk. Waiting time until pick my order up: takes about 15 mins. Not too long. Quality and price: 4 stars, similar quality at In n Out, not too expensive. This place is decent, but I'm disappointed with how my order was handled--not once, but twice. I specifically ordered a lettuce-wrapped char burger, yet they gave me one with buns. Which I was fine with, it was a quick fix got my order fixed right away. Then I noticed they left out the cheese. I expected my order to be handled properly, not to be asked, "Would you like a side of cheese?". The cheese is suppose to be melted within the patty, what am I gonna gonna do with a slice of cheese, eat it cold? No thanks. Terrible service. Ordered Togo online and got home to find I was missing a burger. Tried to call so that I didn't have to wait to get it remade and got sent to some call center. Paula on the phone was less than helpful. She said she was unable to get a hold of the store so I had to drive down and wait for my food to get cooked. Arrived at the store and whoever was in charged looked at me and turned his back on me to finish the task at hand. I had to wait until the cashier came to the register to quote "take my order." I handed him my receipt and let him know that I got all the way home to discover I was missing a burger. The manager never wants turned around to acknowledge me or the situation instead continue to fill cups of ranch while his cashier did all the work. While waiting for my burger to be cooked, I observed the manager look up on the counter and find a bag that had food in it, presumably someone's order that they also probably forgot. He pulled the sticky order receipt off of the bag and threw the food away and proceeded to fill up more cups of ranch. God bless the Habit for not going the way of McDonald's with the wage increase. They still have kiosks but they do have customer service here, and a basic burger is still only six bucks. I usually don't have a problem with waiting for my food to arrive, but after waiting for 20+ minutes with zero movement inside the store, I decided to call them directly. I had clicked the link sent by text when I arrived and received a confirmation via text AND the website link that also confirmed the store knew I had arrived. Whoever assisted me on the call told me that the store had not received the notification that I had arrived, DESPITE me seeing 2 different confirmations. I asked if the food was going to be fresh since I had been waiting for over 20 minutes and they said yes. Someone else ran the food out, never said sorry, just handed me the food and left. I live less than 5 minutes away and when I took the food out of the bag, everything was cold. Oh, and I was missing an additional sauce that came with the meal. This is the worst experience I've had with this location. My mom and I came in a few minutes before closing and the environment was not welcoming at all. The staff was very moody and kept making faces while we were waiting for our food and when we sat down to eat. I've worked in the food industry before and a simple I'm sorry we are closed for the night would have sufficed than receiving the treatment we did. The worst part of this experience was getting food poisoning. We ordered the chicken club sandwich and the bread was greasy, the avocado was far from fresh and the chicken was clearly bad or the cooks did not ensure it was cooked right. I waited in the curb side pick up for fifteen minutes after i clicked the confirmation button and it gave me a confirmation note. I was so pissed off and went inside and asked them why I was waiting for the order and they said "sorry we didn't get it." So I showed them on my mobile phone the confirmation letter and they kept saying "sorry we didn't receive it." It's clear the woman working there was too lazy to walk a couple of steps to the parking lot and deliver my food. I was so pissed off and my food was not that warm when I got home.
