While we waited, he quickly brought us each a jasmine tea with a smile, and then surprised us with free cookies and fruit along with our order! In total, we paid just $19.75 for two fresh and delicious pork bánh mìs, plus two complimentary jasmine teas, a small container of cookies, and a bag of fruit. We stopped by the store first the first time after shopping at nearby Home Depot. It has very good rating and was convenient to get some sandwiches to go. The store was packed with lots of goodies, slightly overwhelming yet very well organized. The owner/manager was kind, courteous, and helpful. He told me the top 3 most popular items and I got them to go. He explained the surcharge for credit card which I totally understand and gladly paid cash. 5 star experience all around .. probably the most friendly owners that I've ever met in a place .. I placed my order over the phone and was told to be ready in about 20 minutes for pick up. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly face and a super cool owner that went out of his way to make sure that me and my son had everything we needed for a good dinner. bbq sandwich = 9/10 excellent taste and flavor. Veggie n avocado = 9/10 fresh and crunchy .. house special bahn mi = 9/10 traditional and delicious . Not only did they give us free drinks and juice for my son he had finished practice. This place is so tiny but do not let the size fool you. The man running this shop has excellent customer service! He took our order quickly and then told us we could wait in the comfort of our car. He then gave us 2 drinks on the house (free). Gupys he was pretty quick with our order. He met us at our car & kindly, & appreciatively delivered our sandwiches. He truly was a delight. It also included egg, which I haven't seen on a bánh mì on the East Coast before and was a pleasant, delicious surprise. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was very strong, in the best way. The service was outstanding. The owners were incredibly welcoming and even gave us iced jasmine tea made from fresh loose tea leaves on the house while we waited for the sandwiches. The shop is located in a corner spot of the plaza with a parking lot available. There are also three dedicated parking spots for Sandwich House Customers, so definitely should be able to find a spot. The shop itself feels very homey. It's take-out only with no dine-in seating, which is the only downside. read more

Sandwich House is always delicious and their service is superb! Today we tried the Grilled Beef and Grilled Chicken Banh mi. Both have very flavorful protein, but I prefer the House Classic with Pate on it. The pate is just that delicious! They do offer small cans for sale, and today I saw a new green one that supposedly has even more flavor. $7 for the red one and $7.50 for a green can. They do also offer catering. Large orders need to be placed at least one day in advance with a 50% deposit. read more

Decided to try this mom and pop shop instead of my usual big chain banh mi spot. It's a small spot with lots of snacks to choose from. The cashier was awesome. Super friendly. Suggested the most popular sandwich but I gravitate towards grilled pork so that what I ordered. After I paid, the cashier gave me a free iced jasmine iced tea and asked what I drive because he would bring my order to me. Then when he gives me my order, he also included an apple banana in my bag and handed me a small container with an assortment of treats. Seriously so sweet! Wanted to try something new and we settled on Sandwich House because of the wonderful reviews. Right when we walked in, the lady behind the counter greeted us so friendly and warmly. We ordered a #1 and #5 - the house special and the grilled beef. They were only about 8.50 each. Before even paying, she gave each of us a fresh iced tea. It wasn't sweetened but still had a refreshing taste. How sweet. It took 15 minutes and her husband came outside to bring us our order. So thoughtful! To our surprise, she added two cutie oranges, two small bananas, and a pack of homemade cookies to our order. I assume they add a little extra treat to each order. All of that for under $20 was a steal! The sandwiches were both amazing and had fresh ingredients. The customer service can't be beat. Even if the food was just okay, we would've still come back to support this business. But the sandwiches were awesome, so even better. This is my second or third time here. I was here, probably about six years ago. I learned about this place from Yelp reviews. Rave reviews. So this time I had the number one sandwich. Deliciously put together and I can see why they asked if I could wait 10 minutes for my Thai tea and my sandwich. They were very fresh. The Thai tea was creamy and blended with love. I also got a lot of snacks to take home. The owner was very nice and attentive. It was a very hot day yesterday and I had just come from getting my haircut across the street. I went to wait in my car and he followed me out and gave me a nice iced jasmine tea, which was made fresh there. He also blessed me with a little piece of layer cake. When I got my sandwich, there was a tangerine and a calimansi in the bag. The freshly made food and drinks were exceptional as well as the service. He asked us if it was our first time visiting, which it was, and gave us his recommendations. We ordered the #1 house special, and he even gave us some free desserts and teas! The baguette was nice and soft with a little crunch. Loved the mayo and pate spreads. I wish they added daikon with the veggies but I liked the addition of onions. The carrots could use a little more pickling but that's just personal preference. There is a 3.5% fee for credit cards. Finally got a chance to try this place today!! It's been on my list due to all the great things I hear. Safe to say, all things heard -- are absolutely true. Right when my sister and I walked in, we felt SO welcomed. My sister ordered a tofu banh mi and I ordered the house special sandwich. We both killed the entire sandwich in one sitting (usually we eat half and save the rest for later). Their pate is sooooo good and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The bread didn't taste like your usual baguette bread. It had a lighter crunch, and it felt very soft at the same time. It's different from your usual banh mi chain places, which I like. It was good different. The wonderful owners offered us some freshly brewed jasmine tea and surprised us with some cupcakes at the end.
