Being Vegan isn't as easy especially when eating at Fast Food places. I came into this Habit Burger & Grill for their Veggie Burger. I was somehow surprised by how I was treated by the Manager Katelyn. She went out of her way to go in the back of the kitchen to make sure that there was no co-contamination with meat products on my veggie patty that I ordered with my salad. Food is good but the 1 star comes from the service. Workers are rude and act like you are an inconvenience just by placing your order. My guess is that they come to interview with a smile and act pleasant. That seems to go out the door the minute they get hired. Won't be back to this one. I love Habit Burger! It's a nice change from your typical burger joints. Their food is delicious because the burgers are nice and charred, the fries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is as good as you can get - no complaints at all. This restaurant has a surf ambiance displayed especially in their wall decor (images specifically). I 5/5 would definitely recommend! read more

DO NOT EAT HERE ! I ordered a salad and found a live bug crawling in it. I quickly grabbed the bug out and immediately found a second dead bug stuck to my lettuce. All my coworkers who got food either vomited or could not eat their meal . Stopped by Habit Burger to give it a try. The burger itself was decent -- flavorful enough, though it did get a little messy to handle. Nothing mind-blowing, but not bad. What really disappointed me were the fries. When I got my order, it was pretty clear they had been sitting out for a while -- very cold. Definitely not fresh. The biggest issue for me, though, is the price. For what I paid, I could've gone to Red Robin and gotten a similar burger, unlimited fresh fries, and ranch included -- all for the same price or even cheaper. Here, they charge extra for ranch? Habit Burger has exactly what you would expect, awesome burgers, great fries and sweet potato fries, and I also really like the tea options mixed with lemonade. The food comes out fast, the employees are nice, and most importantly... The burgers are juicy and amazing. Love coming here when we need to change from our regular burger spot. But this time we ordered 2 char burgers, fries, onion rings, Caesar salad, chicken strips: my 5 yr old asked for a burger gummy and they gave him one. At first bite I was wishing for pickles either on the side or in the sandwich. My second bite, I was wishing there was a char hamburger patty with pickles in the middle of the gooey sandwich. YUM! I just ordered over $50 worth of food using Uber eats. I expect my food to come in the same quality as if I were to order on site. The Caesar salad is something I order all the time. I asked for no croutons and of course it came with croutons. But what's even more frustrating is it did not come with the normal Romain lettuce. They decided to use shredded lettuce. The same shredded lettuce that's used in the hamburgers. My salad was absolutely disgusting and I'm severely disappointed! This was a treat for me. I had take out of the half Santa Barbara burger. there was a BROKEN TOOTHPICK in two locations of the sandwich. The manager on duty was a line cook that refused to give me their name as a point of reference only. First he wanted to write my Visa card number down so he could refund my order. I said don't write my number down. if he did not properly destroy it, I would have far more problems. I asked that he just look up the reference number and credit the order. He refused and told me to go to the store to get a refund. This was The Habit problem and now I have to spend my GAS to refund the order? no, I was not going there to do this. now the corporate number has a message machine. they are never going to call me back. I'm soooooo sadddd!!! They changed their Caesar salad recipe and it's so disappointing. I come here once a week for the Caesar salad it's literally my favorite salad at any restaurant. They changed the whole recipe. The lettuce is like iceberg now I mean like big pieces with two cores found in my salad. The dressing is so sour now and smells fishy. The portion size is smaller. I used to be able to add teriyaki sauce and cheddar cheese and cucumber to my salad and now I can't. It was the saddest salad I've ever had and was the only thing I ever got from there and now I'm no longer a customer because the one item I was obsessed with, is completely different:( idk if it was because of budget cuts or they think this recipe is "fresher" but definitely a 1/10. We just got into town, and this was the first place we stopped to eat. If you love char broiled burgers, this is your stop. They have some of the best burgers for a fast food place. They ate juicy and super filling. This is always one of our first stops when we get into town. The service at this particular habit is great. My wife is pregnant, so eating medium meat is not on the menu for her. Slightly pink (which is how I like my burgers), so she had to send back. They made her a quick new one, and she was super happy with the flavor. This place is very casual and has a great feel to it. It's super clean, and everyone is friendly. This place is kind of a dump. The bathroom was out of paper towels in the dispenser but there was a roll sitting on top. I might expect that at a gas station but not a good establishment. Food is not great....just sort of ok. The real mess here is how it is managed. Went there last week after ordering via the internet. When I arrived the line to order was very long. The folks who work there want everyone to use the kiosk, or online as I did. I saw people stand at the counter to order for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged them. The it seems that multiple orders were screwed up, with the staff having to re-wrap and re-do many orders as I watched. The employees do not seem happy, and there seems to be no manager at all....no one in charge. The employees were arguing with each other etc. I picked up my order, and it was missing the fries. Finally got someone's attention and they put fires in a separate sack. I think they were someone else's fires! Won't be going back because this place used to be run so well and efficiently. Yum Brands bought Habit Burger not too long ago. Recently they've started increasing the number of store openings and you can see why. The burgers are tasty and they seem to have gotten the charbroiling down to a science. Other chains have tried hard, but Habit Burger has succeeded. We tend to order their Double Char Combos, which are around $8 to $10, depending on what sides we choose. See photos. Their sugary lemonades are delicious. I've only tried Habit Burger once before. I was drawn in by the seasonal Patty melt. I was told it was like an In-n-Out, but better. To me, it was giving me Farmer Boy vibes. I wasn't a fan of the corn rye bread it came in. It was tasty, but no comparison to In-n-Out. I ordered it with fries and tempura green beans. To me the star were the tempura green beans! Never did I expect the flavor I received from those :) I may come in to try a burger in the future and of course some more tempura green beans. read more

The food was good but what ruined it for me was the customer service was horrendous. The lady working the register wearing glasses was nothing but rude, disrespectful, and ruined our experience. She said her name was Alex and said she was the manager when I asked. She wasn't wearing a name tag so don't know if that's correct and I'm pretty sure it used to be a requirement to wear one. The service is always amazing at this location. I believe the gentleman's name is Cadel (younger black man). He is extremely polite, extremely professional and does EVERYTHING. He took mine and my wife's order, buses a few tables that were left dirty from previous customers, swept up the store and even made time to stop at our table and asked if we needed anything or if we had any trash he could collect. Came here for lunch with the husband. I was hesitant as I had a not-so-pleasant experience trying Habit Grill the first time. This was almost 4 years ago. I was like, alright let's try this again. He was intrigued by the Teriyaki burger, and I wanted to try their mushroom burger. We got sweet potato fries and they were so so good! The Teriyaki was so savory and the sliced pineapple made it so perfect! Not a big fan of the mushroom burger as it was on the salty side. Overall I found the service very good Seating is nice and clean The bun was stale ( it crumbled and broke apart) The French fries were OLD !!! Since this was my first time here I asked the manager if the fries are always on the hard side crispy outside She said no and that she will make new ones cooked less which had I known is how I would have ordered them. Lightly fried !! Second patch was very good hot and soft. I actually prefer Del taco fries or Red Robin's So overall I would say this is a good place to eat but " no substitute for quality ". I'm not so sure if that holds 100% true. Go taste a Nessy then you'll taste what great quality is. The quest for #3 is still in progress I went back today just to feed my dog I see what a plain meat patty is and I used water to rinse off all the fat very greasy meat. Friendly and helpful service. Delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, and the newest and tasty item, roasted garlic cauliflower. Yum! Though $4 for a cheap veggie is quite over-priced. Next time, I'll roast the cauliflower myself and buy the Trader Joe's garlic sauce and save money. Parking wasn't a problem, however there are a lot of restaurants neighboring the Habit, so the parking lot can fill up. read more

I asked for extra ketchup and only 7 packets were in my bag. Definitely not enough for 4 orders of fries. Also, no napkins in my bag.
