I came here based on the reviews! This hit the lunch spot! I wanted to try between two but ended with the UNI Banh Mi. The only difference is the protein. Everything else tastes like the Vietnamese sandwich! Sooo good and I really like the chicken on it better. The bread looks hard on the picture, but it was actually soft and paired perfectly l! This place is WONDERFUL! We will literally never go anywhere else again when we're craving a sandwich. The staff and management go above and beyond for their customers, and the food is superb! Talk about incredibly fresh bread, and ingredients, and don't even get me started on their cookies! My gosh, talk about delicious! Between my husband and me and my parents, we have tried the Club, the Cali, and the Chimichurri Steak sandwiches. All winners! If you need or are curious about their gluten-free focaccia bread, do NOT hesitate to order it! It's SOOOOO good! I almost prefer it over the regular focaccia bread; hard to say, though, because they are both delicious. We recently tried their Ahi Tuna bowl as well, and that was pretty good! My new favorite sandwich spot! They have a chicken sun-dried tomato pesto sandwhich that is to die for. The bread mixed with the ingredients is just so tasty. I've already eaten here 3x in a month! They also have really cool old fashioned sodas and cookies which are soft . The location is nice, you can sit inside or outside. The only thing is the service could be a little better. Last time I was there they had all this staff working the counter but one person working the register and the line was backed up to the door and no one stepped in to assist. Had dinner here the other day and though I would post my review of this location. The inside is really clean and I was greeted by the cashier. I ordered the salmon bowl which came with focaccia bread. I was expecting a bit more of a bowl for the price. The bowl was good, but the bread seemed a little bland. I did appreciate the fact that the employees were polite and really kept the place clean. The ingredients in the bowl were fresh, and the salmon tasted fresh as well. I would have given 4 stars if there was more food provided. I would definitely come back and try more items on the menu. One tip is that the parking lot is shared by a few other food places, and the parking lot can get full. If you can get there before the lunch or dinner rush then you will not have to walk too far. read more

We stopped by this new place to eat yesterday. As we entered it had a chill vibe and it was clean. I liked the decor inside and it had seating outside as well. The workers were good at coming to clean tables often and even came to wipe our down as we were sitting down. The majority of the food options looked healthy. Both of my girls were able to choose food items as well, so that's a huge plus! At first we ordered water cups, located for free by the drink dispenser, and then we ordered a watermelon lemonade. One of the workers brought our food to our table when it was ready, which was a nice touch. We were served on reusable plates, but I didn't see a place to return them so I asked and the worker offered to clean up our dishes for us. Score! My husband order the chimichurri steak sandwich and it came with a side salad. He said it was tasty. My daughters ordered PB&J (strawberry) and a grilled cheese. They chose the chip instead of salad option. I ordered the cilantro chicken salad with a ranch dressing. It was yummier than I expected. Excited to have an Urbane Cafe in Menifee so that we don't have to drive down to Temecula to enjoy. The staff greets you as you come in and they're quick to answer any question you may have. When the food is brought out, they are very attentive and friendly as well. Everything that I have tasted here has been delicious. This time, we tried the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich and the Chimichurri Steak Sandwich. The chimichurri Steak Sandwich was really juicy and tender. I wanted to get another one because I really enjoyed it. The salad that comes with the sandwich also has a good flavor as well and the little mandarins give it that bit of sweetness. I wish they gave a little more salad though. There are times the salad is fluffy and it looks like there's a good amount of salad, but it's just fluffed up. What I thought would have been a wonderful nourishing pick up meal at Urbane Cafe was a disappointment. Zoinks. Im not sure if my taste buds were off to another solar system somewhere, but the salad and sandwich were lacking. I tried the crunchy peanut salad with grilled chicken, and it was just ok. My son, who chose the So-Cal chicken sandwich, said his was just ok too. Is the side of foccacia bread with the salad suppose to be warm? Toasted? It was soft, but tasted thawed cold... pffft. Either these don't travel well (I only live 3 lights down the main road) or next time we'll just eat there? I'm struggling here because I didn't think zipping home to rock some sweatpants, while watching a movie and hugging a delicious bowl of salad on a rainy day would hurt. Oh but this did... bummer. Good food. There were 7 of us and food prep was quick. We all ordered something different and we each enjoyed our selextion. I had So Cal. The staff was pleasant. None of us had been there previously. The chocolate chip cookie was nice and big and the bestccookie around. Two of us ordered cookies but we had to ask for them as they werebt brought with our meal. The toilet floor had stuck dirt. It was unpleasant and generally not nice. We were an older group and several are hsndicapped. The high chairs are nice for the young crowd. Fortunately the table in the corner with benches was available. One person pulled up a chair. I was wedged at the back at the corner. It worked seating wise but my handicap, my serious back problem was very painful. We liked our closeness to communicate. We arrived about 11:50, just before rush hour. Parking was difficult. I did manage to get a handicap spot. There were places i could rest rxcept it was raining. I personally would like the menu display in bigger letters due to my eyesight or a foldout menu to pick up while waiting. If it is available i didnt see it. I just ordered the So Cal because it was first so i made it easy. I wasnt disappointed! I recommend Urbane Cafe. I can envision myself ordering on-line with Uber Eats. I dont see myself returning because of the seating and parking but i doubt if i will be missed. read more

Urbane Café is the best new health conscious restaurant to open in Menifee and it has some incredibly tasty offerings. We came here for lunch, after things cooled off from last week's crazy opening. Urbane's setup is similar to that of Paneras, in that you get in line, order your food and then pay. They give you a digital pager and you sit down and wait. But it's not really necessary, since the servers know who you are and bring your food to your table. Nice! I went with the Banh Mi Chicken and my wife with the Chicken Tomato & Pesto (photos). Both were delicious and outstanding, with layers of flavors. The serving size is pretty generous as well and we had more then enough for later. Five Stars for some really delicious. . PS - Don't forget to grab two or three of their decadent chocolate chip cookies when you're at the Cashier, too. read more

Nice to see a bunch of healthy options popping up in this area! Grand Opening of Urban Cafe in Menifee happened on 7.18.2022. Thanks to the trusty gram, I saw a post and decided to drop by post gym. I arrived around 8:30pm and was glad to see the crowds from earlier in the day had died down. Walked in to one person ahead of me and a party of 2 eating inside. I was torn between the Steak BLT and the Keto Cobb Salad, but ended up with the latter...and a cup of Broccoli Cheese Soup. I waited on my to-go order at the high top table. Within a few minutes, one of the managers brought my food out to me. My buzzer didn't even have a chance to go off, so hooray for friendly and speedy service! When I got home, I started on the soup first, which comes with a piece of their house made bread. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed that the cup wasn't filled up near the top ($4.35). It did have good flavor though, not too salty. The bread was fluffy and fresh, it was great for dipping in the soup. I shared half of it with my dog because well...sharing is caring, plus he's a good boy, lol! I ate a bit of the salad which also came with a piece of bread and a side of Blue Cheese dressing. The dressing wasn't the chunky kind, but I was good with it since the salad itself is topped with Blue Cheese Crumbles. =) A chopped salad mix made with mixed greens, avocado, eggs, grape tomatoes, pickled onions, blue cheese crumbles and Applewood-smoked bacon come together for a very nice sized portion for a salad in today's world. I couldn't finish the rest of it, so it's my lunch for tomorrow! With decent prices, a great staff and a wide open parking lot, this is the place to be for all things yummy and healthy! P.S. I was glad to find Urbane Cafe in Menifee. It's tough to find healthier food options around here, so this place was a nice surprise. The sandwiches are super fresh, packed with flavor, and made with quality ingredients. A brand new food place that just popped up on Newport. They have an array of sandwiches and salads, also a few bowls as well. Their selection is pretty good and we'll rounded on proteins. We ended up getting a couple mixed salads and the dressings were quite good. The Japanese spicy aoli dressing really hit the spot on the ahi salad. They were quite busy when we came in but they had plenty of help to speed up the process. The food wait was ridiculous quick, and most of the people around us kept talking about how great the food is. Well we most definitely agree the food is great! I really feel the need to leave this review because this is the second time now that urbane cafe forgot something for my to go order. I always order ahi salad. I don't go here too often but when I do that's what I get. The last time I was there which is a couple months ago they forgot to add ahi tuna in my salad so I had to drive back all the way from my house to the store to get AHI for my AHI SALAD. This time, I got the whole thing but no dressing. I have to go all the way back to pick it up again. Mind you, I made sure to check the order before I left the store this time to make sure that they didn't forget ahi tuna but wasn't thorough enough to check for the dressing because who would have thought they would forget that! They did offer me a sandwich card to use for future visit but that is NOT OK!!! I'd rather get my properly prepared full meal than another free sandwich!!! Great affordable food. The portions are enough for 2 meals for me. Very fresh and delicious. Lots of options vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian along with delicious pastrami, chicken and beef choices. I'm hooked. Eating here at the least once per week!
