Out of all the Habbits I visit this is by far the best one! The employees are extremely nice and they take care of you! Every single time they deliver my tray to my table. It might be because I talk to them all and I visit so much they appreciate me which is why they stand out. The store is always clean and the condiments are always stocked! The front person works very well with the cooks and o have never had a wrong order or meal! I give them a lot of respect as they work very hard. I also see them treat every customer the same! Every customer get A+ service. There is one front person...a chubby girl, Hispanic who seems lazy, never turns on the drink machine and when I ask her if they have a certain thing she tells me she's tired or it's too early and she will get to it when she can. It's a bit off putting to be honest! She is the reason for the four stars instead of the five star review! Plus the $10 dollar deal is absolutely the best price in town. Really disappointed. We ordered two Charburgers, and both tasted cold and stale, like they'd been sitting out for a while. The fries were soggy, and we ordered the half sweet potato/half regular fries but received mostly regular fries. Unfortunately, the entire meal ended up in the trash and left us feeling nauseous. 66 cents for ranch. Seriously? I ordered a meal at The Habit and apparently ranch is now a luxury upgrade. After paying for a burger, fries, and everything else, they want another $0.66 for a tiny cup of ranch. Is 66 cents going to bankrupt me? No. Is charging 66 cents for two tablespoons of ranch embarrassingly cheap? Absolutely. At this point I'm surprised they don't charge a rental fee for the tray and add a surcharge for using a napkin. This Habit Burger experience was absolutely delicious! A flame grilled burger, piping hot onion rings and truly really good service! They got our order wrong and immediately remade it. Which was of course the right thing to do, but to do it with a smile and apology was greatly appreciated. A clean restaurant with regular fast food seating, a condiments section, and drink station. I've been to this location a few times and for the most part, it's a nice experience I like the habit because the food is always hot and fresh but it comes out fast. On this day my husband got a char burger which he said was fine. I got my favorite fried green beans which were crisp but soft inside. I also got a grilled cheese which comes with American cheese. If it's your thing, add some grilled onion. Yum! Last I added some chicken nuggets which are white meat chicken and super crispy. If you like lots of breading these are for you. If you want a grilled cheese or chicken bites, just get the kids meal. It's less than a dollar more than getting the entree by itself. But you can get a side and drink! Parking is plentiful but it's a full shopping center so you may not always get a close spot. No worries, it's a chance to get those steps in. :) read more

We ordered by Uber Eats and let me tell you all the food was cold. To top it off there was no utensils with my order. Bag was sealed so it means the restaurant failed to place silverware in my order. I ordered on the Kiosk, and waited over 15 minutes watching them make nothing but online orders. I then asked the girl if my lunch was being made she checked the system and said it hasn't yet. After another 10 mins I heard a girl come up to the counter and said she got the wrong order. She had my lunch so the girl just gave me to bag after touched by some random person, the food was cold. So I asked her why did you say it wasn't done yet? She said I gave her the wrong name? Instead of apologizing for screwing up! I had a really disappointing experience here because of the manager. Instead of treating customers with respect, he was throwing ketchup packets and other items toward me in a way that felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. It was shocking to be treated like that over something so minor. No customer should have to deal with behavior like this from someone in a management position. Convenient, reasonable price and counter service was nice. Ambiance was small place with classic rock music in busy commercial zone. Decent fresh veggies in the burger, but I think their burgers are burnt and too salty. I know they call them "char burgers" so at least they warn you. I've been going to the Habit since it first opened in Santa Barbara. One of my favorite foods in the world was the Ahi Tuna sandwich on grilled sourdough bread. Now, after Yum Brands bought the chain, it has been changed. There is teriyaki sauce on the fish and cabbage slaw in the sandwich. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Asian food, but they ruined a perfectly marvelous sandwich. I will never go back to The Habit. Don't go there, don't reward corporate excess. read more

Genuinely the worst service I've ever experienced at a habit burger. I made two orders and was given the first one. It took them 20 minutes to realize I had two orders and still needed the other. I asked multiple times how long it would take, and they said they were working on it. Finally, they admitted they hadn't even noticed the second order. The young woman behind the counter was extremely rude as well. I won't be coming here again. I genuinely need to think twice about who you hire because this was the most unprofessional location I've ever been to. They have a habit of getting my order wrong, no pun intended. I find that the habit burger chain often has one of if not the worst order accuracy of any fast food place ive been to, but usually most locations are understanding of the mistake and are able to make it right. When i asked for assistance at this location, they said they unfortunately couldnt do anything about it. I never come here with high expectations as I know the food is pretty basic here for the most part. However, I thought I'd give this place a try as they just came out with a new chicken club sandwich that looked pretty good. You can imagine my annoyance when I got home & realized they forgot the bacon on my chicken club sandwich which is a key ingredient in any club sandwich. So, I can't really give my full thoughts on this order since it was made incorrectly. I will say though, the sandwich was at least decent & fresh tasting, I just wish they could have made it with ALL of the ingredients. I was also annoyed that my side of fries didn't come with a complimentary dipping sauce & that I had to pay 50cents extra for it. It's pretty standard for most restaurants to include a complimentary dipping sauce with a side so not sure why the habit doesn't practice this. I utilized their mobile app pickup option which was convenient & fast no issues there. Store location looked well kept for the most part & parking was easy. Ambiance is standard. Wow first time here and it was great! I ordered the ranch salad-yes they have salads, four different ones to choose from. I chose the ranch salad and added grilled chicken. What in the world happened to the service here? We use to come quite often and never had any issues. Today we had a different story. The food and ordering of the food we had no issues. Most condiments were missing and they ended up giving us packets instead. The ice tea dispenser was removed for cleaning about an hour before closing. Before we left we wanted an ice cream cone. We stood in line for about five minutes without any help. So we just left. Mind you there were plenty of people near the register. And there were others behind us in line. I used to LOVE Habit...but it's really gone downhill...they raised their prices and started adding additional costs like charging for extra dressings (and giving you smaller containers of the dressings then they use to have)...also, I always get the chicken sandwich and the last 3x I've ordered it, the chicken was very burnt...not tasty and the fries have been undercooked. They also used to have tropical ice tea ( which I've come in to get even when I don't order food because I love the unsweetened but flavored ice tea) So all in all, you're paying more and more and the quality has gone down. Granddaughter in town for the holidays. We decieded on The Habit Burger & Grill on Newhall Ranch Road. (I talked her out of Wendy's, lol!). We arrived around 1:10pm. When we entered we noticed the 'self serve' kiosks. (Gross and dirty) I was a bit taken back as I'd not been to this location in a while. I went ahead and placed an order the the Charburger meal, and I Cobb salad. I tried to customize her burger, but couldn't find the way to eliminate something on it, only to add to it, so we just got it as is. The floor was wet where a soda was spilled with a caution sign, but not mopped up for a while... We noticed that we would receive a text when our order was ready. About 10 + minutes later I looked down at my phone, and saw the text, although my phone didn't notify me. I looked and our tray was sitting on the counter. I don't know really how long it had been there. My Granddaughter took a bike of her hamburger and looked at me with a funny face. It was cold, no cheese and was soggy from the relish I guess. (No help from a team member when ordering where they would have asked her if she wanted the cheese). She didn't eat it. I looked at my salad, and was surprised to see it in a new type 'bowl', smaller made of square cardboard. (I had talked her out of Wendy's because I loved the Cobb Salad there). The lettuce was old and wilted, not chopped or presented like it used to be and it came with Ranch not the original creamy italian. There was maybe a few cherry tomatoes, chicken pieces, and a few pieces of broken bacon, a couple pieces of avocado and some new type cheese (never had that before?) I went and asked to the original 'creamy italian' and they said that it was discontinued. I don't know if this is change if independent of this location, but I will not go back here. Ya no!
