We lost most of our furnishings in our home of 25 years to storm damage over the past few years and recently moved to an apartment. Habitat for Humanity ReStore Zephyrhills has been such a blessing to us in that we have found quality furniture and accessories for at least half the price of new. That has meant we've been able to set up home sooner than expected. The staff has been wonderful and friendly - they even asked us today how our new place is! I do want to address the prices, considering some negative comments I've seen. This is not a traditional "thrift" store - it is a "ReStore",' and they carefully select what donations will allow them to raise the most money for Habitat for Humanity. Yes, you will find great deals, especially on discount days, but don't expect rock-bottom thrift prices on the quality items ReStore offers. We are thankful to ReStore to have been able to create our new home while supporting others needing new homes! read more

If you want to fix your home with used products, this place has them. Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, mirrors, furniture. Someone's junk is another's treasures. The very low prices for products you could use is amazing. It's like a builder's warehouse of used parts and furniture. If you don't know what you're looking for, go look and ask. These people build houses. Open for everyone from the novice homeowner to the profiler. Have fun, it's a great surprise. read more

This place is a wannabe boutique. Like they're selling high end merch. The prices are crazy considering items are DONATED. I asked why this store is the way it is. Turns out ReStore locations are individually owned and operated and they can do whatever they want with them as there really branding restrictions to adhere to. There are some great locations in the Bay Area if you're really on the hunt and maybe willing to drive a bit - this isn't the one. They've had pallets of tile set out for months. Instead of breaking out the pallets and selling the tile - they've let it sit on the floor. Can ya tell I'm not a fan of this store? Like as I'm doing home improvement and have good and solid pieces to donate, I won't even donate here. read more

Other reviews complain that prices here are high. They are NOT wrong. When compared to new items, the prices are very high for used items including furniture, tools, housewares. These items were all donated so everything they sell is 100% profit. This is supposed to be a thrift store. Selling items at thrift prices so people can get a bargain and they can make money for their cause. What part of THRIFT do they NOT understand. They get tool donations from local big box store of open and damaged tools. Prices are almost same as retail with no warrantee. I'll pay the extra few dollars and get new items. They need to get real and make this a real thrift shop. I have been to their other locations. This location is way more expensive then the others. Need new person to price. read more

Feb 2023 They sold me watered down wall paint! Paid $15. and would not take it back or exchange it. Their return policy needs to change especially when selling defective merchandise! The merchandise is way OVERPRICED anyway. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Also the manager in the back has an attitude. Poor customer relations. read more

The staff is nice and the place had a fair amount of merchandise, but it is as if they are trying to become a big time antique store instead of a place that offers their merchandise that most people can afford. I used to love going there to "treasure hunt". I don't think I will be going back. They have priced the merchandise way, way too high. Too bad, Habitat for Humanity! I have frequented the store on numerous occasions and perused many an item there, but...the pricing for there items is way over the top! I think I bought a mug for my morning and favourite hot beverage--TEA from England. I nearly coughed up half a lung at paying near $4.00 for it! It wasn't even close to being worth the $4. In retrospect, it was really worth about $1.50. I realize the need to make money so you mark your prices accordingly, but if they lowered their pricing by 50%, they would gain a faithful clientele, customers who might respect the place even more, and in the end they would make up the difference by moving more products. Maybe the owner is skittish about there not being enough inventory so they cannot let the pricing go down for fear of a mad rush of people clearing out their inventory. I doubt that. I looked at a CD player-you know, those arcane things that played discs akin to vinyl records but sound cleaner-it was $90!!! $90 for a USED player that was being sold "AS IS"! No thank you! Just wait and see, some poor sod is gonna go in there thinking he'll save his CD collection until the last CD player has left this mortal coil having breathed its last breath and he'll go on YouTube show Hot Ones with Sean Evans and they'll swap stories of how the Day the Music died on CD when he listened to that final note, Sean will ask right before they eat the wing with Da Bomb Sauce (hot sauce), "So tell me, what was the emotion or the thought racing through your head after you heard that final note, or word?" "Holy Moses! Oh, that is God-awful! I CAN'T beLIEVE that!" "There you have it everyone...the last note to ever be played on a CD player and it was 'God-awfully' bad." We remodeled our kitchen and went here to donate appliances. We were very rudely told they don't take dishwashers. Fine. My husband went to wrestle the stove out of trailer and man working wouldn't even help. Just stood and watched my husband struggle. Next time I'll just post it on social media for free. read more

No help loading furniture. I bought a very heavy and overpriced used chair here. A big burly guy rolled it out to the street and stood there watching me ( dealing with cancer) struggled to load it in my car. This was sad as I am a former restore employee from another store in another state and we always helped customers load furniture. Needless to say I won't be shopping here ever again. read more

Do not bother donating to this place. It's a waste of your time. All they ask before coming to pick up donated items is "are they in good condition ". Yes my stuff was in good condition, but it had some scratches and blemishes. Normal wear. They wouldn't take anything I had. It seemed as though they didn't feel like working too hard that day. I recently went to two different Habitat stores in Florida and they were AWFUL in comparison to the stores in Tulsa and Jenks. I love our stores here and go there often as I have rent houses and love doing light remodel projects. The store is unfortunately confusing. There is not much that they offer that an average person would want to buy. If you discover something of interest, I personally feel that the item is overpriced. Habitat Restore - Outside - Home Decor Near Me - Zephyrhills, Florida

Yesterday 4/09/19 I went to this restore to ask them about picking up two TV stands that I wanted to donate. One of the TV stands was purchased there. Also while there I was going to do some shopping. January 2018 I had a stroke and I am still recovering and I also suffer from anxiety and depression. I trained my 28 pound dog how to behave as an Emotional support animal. He is very well mannered and does not bark, but he helps me just being with me. His name is Spud and he has been to this place before. When I walked through the doors towards the front desk a woman shouted to me that I cannot bring him in unless he is a support dog. I told her he is an Emotional Support dog and she said that wasn't good enough. I will Never step foot in that place again and they can kiss my A_s./BUTT read more

There's a sign on the outside of this location indicating it only recently opened, so perhaps this location will grow into being the kind of place that most ReStore locations tend to be: a great spot for getting supplies for those little home projects. At the moment, this location seems to be having a personality struggle with whether it's solely a thrift shop or if it's a building supplies reseller. The clothes, books, and home goods are at the front of the store just as you enter, and it isn't until you wander into the large warehouse area that it begins to turn into more of a building supply reseller. There are a few things that are helpful for those do-it-yourselfers. There's a decent selection of windows and doors, and there are some plumbing supplies. Overall, however, the selection is far less than other ReStore locations. The prices are interesting. Some are insanely cheap ($1 for adult clothing items compared to $8 to $10 at the thrift store in the same complex for the same items), while other items become too expensive to even consider (I won't be paying $300 for a couch with holes in it sitting in an open air warehouse). It's worth a trip if you're in the area and feel like maybe, just maybe, they'll have something you can use. I would stop here the next time I'm building a set for my theatre program if I needed doors or windows, for example. If you're looking for a really wide selection, however, this location will not be able to serve your needs. read more

This store was going downhill but management took notice of a bad employee and took action, they are back to how they were in the beginning. I don't know what I would do without them. Their staff is really nice and helpful, their goal is to help you get what you need at an affordable price, that's what I love about them. New things come every day, plus they have a rewards card, for every $5 you spend they punch the card, when done (and it goes by fast) you end up with $20 card good towards purchase their at the store, and $20 goes a long way. Loved the Habitat ReStore in Dade City! Reasonable prices. The people in Zephyrhills have always been very nice, though you can't get the counter people to hardly come help you. When you get someone on the floor, they have always gone above and beyond to help! The employees can't help that MANAGEMENT or CORPORATE are charging A LOT more than what items are WORTH. You get more people in and make more money if you lower your prices, then you get more donations, etc., etc. I know of at least 5 people, a storage facility and on, that stopped donating because your markup is to high. I am 1 person who knows 5, then there is another who knows 5, then another. Think how many people you have lost! Not by my word of mouth I'm not that good, this is the first time I have said anything online but by your high prices; and by items you say have been tested and we take them home and they don't work. Used to love this store. Used to go in several times a month.. Now it's not even worth my time. Prices have tripled in the last year. Prices on furniture are barley less then you could by New for. 400$ a piece for couch and love seat with stains. That's insane. Supposed to be helping the community not robbing it. read more

Large warehouse near Big Lots. 5-stars for the cause! 3-stars for everything else. Good customer service by the two women manning the Customer Service desk. Items available are either donated by individuals or purchased in lots at low prices from stores such as The Home Depot. There's not much this store doesn't offer (including volunteers), but you'll have to self-load whatever you buy & there's no delivery. The furniture section is extensive, & the prices seem MUCH higher than they are at other HFH locations in central Florida. The plumbing section had not only sinks & tubs, but many plumbing parts. The lighting area was the same-- parts, bulbs, lamps & lighting fixtures. There's a book section, a medical section (canes, walkers, etc), a glassware & kitchenware section, a long shelving unit of small appliances & kitchen gadgets, a home decor area w/ pillows, a section of framed wall pictures & prints, & currently a Christmas section. (Many of the "new" boxed Christmas items are the unsold pieces from stores like The Home Depot-- large inflatable holiday characters, strings of lights, bulbs, trains, wreaths, etc.) There are multiple shelves of parts for everything under the sun (& inside the home). There's a flooring area (ceramic tile, manufactured wood, etc.) & even windows, doors, washing machines, bikes & multiple headboards, including a gorgeous antique brass one. Prices on non-furniture items appeared, for the most part, reasonable (especially the prices on parts), but overall this Habitat for Humanity has too many elevated prices. If return customers are the goal, whoever is in charge of determining prices needs to get ahold of the pricing experts elsewhere. With so much this large store offers (& w/ the great cause all the profits cover), I highly suspect more business would be generated if the furniture prices (& miscellaneous other prices) were more in line w/ those at similar stores. My first impression as I walked out-- for the cost, it's no store I'll rush back to. And that is unfortunate. read more

I agree that many things are overpriced.....especially the "yard sale" type items. I've also found numerous items, clearly from Dollar Tree,priced at $1.50 and higher! I do not know who is in charge of pricing, but....they clearly need to have some idea of what is typically a fair price....such as at thrift stores, tag sales, etc. But! Store is under new management very clean, always new product and pricing is fair. Cashiers are friendly and willing to assist!! Beautiful furniture and housewares. Just purchased some beautiful solid wood kitchen cabinets for $800 that would have cost me $2000 in a big box store. Also was able to get brand new window blinds for 1/2 the price. I have given a considerable amount of business to the Habitat For Humanity Restore in Zephyrhills, FL, thru purchases as well as donations. However, I will need to rethink any further business with them due to the very rude atmosphere inside. I have been there three times in the last two weeks and each time I have been treated very rudely by two of the associates, one male & one female. There is a sign out front that claims it is under new management. I hope she/he is there to teach the employees some manners. What a shame that a business geared towards helping people, treats the paying customers with such disrespect & contempt. read more
