In fact, one time, the beef in the Beef and Broccoli was not edible. Had the consistency of cooked rubber. Couldn't eat it. Terrible! Other entrees were much better, today I had the Sesame Chicken. I'd say that was okay, but our sushi was the highlight of the meal. Going to continue frequenting for Sushi and Crab Rangoon's but might skip the entrees.

Middle of the afternoon and a Sunday and we almost had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is spacious with many seating options. Service was prompt and attentive. The menu is large with sushi, Chinese and noodle options. There was also a nice assortment of appetizers. We chose the guacamole roll (novel and looked interesting, the rainbow roll (raw and familiar to us) and the mizu roll with a crab Rangoon appetizer. Each dish was beautifully prepared, presented and really fresh and flavorful. If this is the only sushi place in the area, it's all you will need. Location is also wonderful, situated across the street from a beautiful waterfront park with lots of good walking paths and benches.

I ordered from the location in Watertown (accidentally), so when we went to pick up in Beaver Dam, they obviously had not idea what we were talking about; but, once I realized we'd ordered from the Watertown location they were the absolute sweetest (about MY mistake) and remade my order from the BD location in under 15 min. Aside from the amazing service they consistently have, the food is ALWAYS on point. I've had sushi from CA, FL, NJ/NY, Korea, etc., and Sake House's spicy tuna roll is still the best I've ever had. Any roll you get here is totally worth it. Fresh, never fishy-tasting, and well-made. I can't rave enough about this place. Tonight we ordered hibachi chicken, a shrimp teriyaki bento box, and a sushi order of a spicy tuna roll and an avocado roll (along with a side salad, miso soup, and a house salad). Literally everything was to die for. We were charged a $1.50 convenience fee, which I haven't seen here before, but would pay 3x over just to have the food! Props to Sake House, and I'm very glad these guys are surviving the pandemic! 100/10 dentists recommend.

Ambiance and pricing are good. It is no wonder that this shop is so favored by the locals. There are a few Chinese and a few American selections on their menu scattered among a plethora of Japanese offerings which is what we came for. This restaurant deserves a solid 4 stars.
