The complex sits right next to the Rio Cuale where the river meets the ocean. Molino de Agua is less than 30 minutes from PVR (Puerto Vallarta International Airport). It's location doesn't require that you have a car because you are within walking distance to great shopping , galleries, sightseeing, and the best restaurants and nightlife Puerto Vallarta has to offer. The units feature balconies on both sides of the building. The large main terrace comes with fabulous views of the ocean, and the smaller balconies located in the bedrooms give you the sights and sounds of bustling old Vallarta and the Sierra Madre Mountains and city lights on the front side of the complex. The Residencias has it all: amazing gardens, infinity pool, 24 hrs. security, and access to the Malecon and Los Muertos beach. This complex is absolutely beautiful and quiet. This is NOT a party palace because the units are privately owned, and I highly recommend it for a comfortable, relaxing and centrally located stay.

I could go on and on but no need but I suggest if you want to have a relaxing vacation look at other places. Do be fooled by the photos it's nice but truly trouble. I have need to Mexico a 100 times this is the first time I've ever had an problem.

When we went to the pool up on the top floor it was a good size and not very much people around though the trees were near by and sometimes there would be leaves falling/little acorn looking balls but we just stayed away from that area. Our stay overall was decent. The room was a decent size for two people... we were never really in our room to stay in just somewhere to sleep and change clothes since we were always on the go. So, the maids and chef would already be inside the unit without you even knowing it. But, they were all so friendly and courteous to make sure they weren't disturbing us. I wish we would have been able to experience the chef services but we chose to do our own cooking as most of our family is local to Mexico and are some of the most amazing cooks! But I am certain any chef services would have been great as when we arrived we were greeted with some tasty Guacamole and Pico de gallo. Since our stay was pretty short and we were more focused on family time we didn't partake in any of the available adventures but hopefully will do that next time. We explored Lo de Marcos (closest to the property, small, the beach is fun), San Pancho (my favorite of all the towns, cool hippy town like Saylulita but close and fun), Guayabitos and La Penita (we like the restaurants and shopping here). two of which my husband and I have been to several times. We enjoyed the diverse and differences of each town. We felt safe and relaxed on our stay and hope to return again. Working with the home owner prior, during and after our stay was wonderful and professional. The house is beautiful and we look forward to returning soon. Tip- Get your groceries at one of the big super markets in Nuevo Vallarta on your way to the Property. There are some small markets in a few of the towns near but it's best to shop on your way.

The daily cleaning staff and the property manager were absolutely the best. The villa is perched up on a hill about 10 minutes from the beach. You can see the ocean from the villa. Villa Boda is easy to get to from the airport. And there are several big supermarkets along the way to shop for groceries. We've been to Puerto Vallarta several times but this time we wanted to venture North, away from all the tourists and we're glad we did. The beaches are either empty or just a few people, locals on holiday and a few tourists. There were plenty of fun activities to do in the area. We rented a high clearance car from Hertz and it was very easy to get around (some of the smaller towns have dirt roads). We are considering coming back with both our entire families for a family reunion. In addition to Villa Boda there are currently two other villas for rent.

Mind you I can't begin to express how many guests have been over to the hotel with me in the last year and a half. The people of Vallarta are typically the most accommodating, wonderful people. There are lots of chairs and lounge chairs near the pool area as well as a little bookcase with books for trade. The hotel has a locked gate at night and a guard around. Rooms are cute with little deck. Rooms also have a Microwave and a little fridge. They offer very clean towels and soap and shampoo. I had my room cleaned each day. Will stay again for sure.

Easy walk to Romantic Zone. - Clean, simple room. - Good service. - Good restaurant. - Check their website for rates but also check other travel sites like Priceline and Agoda for better rates. Negatives: My room had a view of both the ocean and the Malecon. It was the least expensive room offered. It was noisy late night since the bars were still open next door. In the mornings about 7am the same bars would play music as they cleaned and prepared for the new day. If you are a light sleeper I recommend upgrading your room selection and not booking a town facing room. The hotel is oceanfront however it does not have a beach. You have to walk 200 ft to the next door property to access a sandy beach. The current is pretty rough and not recommended for kids, in my opinion. Overall: A good place to consider staying and I would stay here again for a couple of nights.
