Went for Lunch because my brother wanted to try it. It's oriented for sports fans, date night, and…read morejust group dining I would think, but I think families can go there, but I recommend wanting to watch sports is a must. Menu it appears they're willing to change by trend. We all had burgers, but we double burgers or split burgers. Soda is refilled, except handcrafted sodas. In the future; might want to research seasonal coleslaw or broccoli-slaw for change up of side menu salads. Other: fried or steamed vegs as possible finger food. Portion side, it was expected. Shio liked the bacon melt leftover. I found out what was missing alfalfa sprouts made taste elevated. Not sure if they would add pan fry egg as optional item. Server was good, he explained things better, and ambiance wasn't too noisy to hear him. Server did say you can seating arrangement is up to customers. Noon time on Saturday seems like less busy, my brother was telling us, hard to get in, reserve spot, and appears like that way only if there was a live game it said so in commercials. Packed to where ppl were waiting in line get in. They do work hard making place clean. Thank you for the good food it was yummy. Edited at desktop, mobile doesn't allow much for spellcheck. Note: 1-star rating ppl might have gone when it was live game. Suggestion go when it's lunch or game days are re-played. Patience is a virtue, try to eat more when you go out. There is ton of food on menu besides the wings.

I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated. We've been regular customers, and this…read moreexperience completely changed how we view this place. Someone in our group took a photo behind the bar, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the bartender immediately became rude and escalated things. We were asked to leave, which is one thing--but what made the situation worse was that my card was still swiped and we were never served any drinks. After that, the bartender continued talking about us and involved another bartender, which turned into an unnecessary scene and got us kicked out. The interaction felt disrespectful, targeted, and completely unprofessional. If there was an issue with taking a picture, that could have been communicated respectfully instead of creating a hostile situation. As regulars, we expected better treatment and better customer service.

I'm 46 years old. I've been to a lot of bars in my life, some of the "diviest" bars in America…read more There is a lady that bartends at night at the Kings Den that is one of the absolute worst bartenders I've ever experienced in my entire life. Zero bartending etiquette. She argues with patrons, she argues with her coworkers, I honestly don't really even know why she works there. The other guy has to tolerate her, and they appear to argue in front of patrons - it's not cute. He just stands there, staring at patrons as they sit waiting for drinks while the line gets longer and longer. Bartending is clearly not their jam. They have no signature cocktails, and the cocktails they do make are pretty bad. The karaoke is pretty egregious, it's like a guy who likes to sing poorly decided he wanted to set up karaoke just so he had a reason to sing sometimes and make other people listen to it. It's a dive bar, which in itself isn't bad. But it's like if you were driving through the bad part of Bakersfield and said "this place looks cool" and then stopped for a drink and then realized that it's Bakersfield but it's not. It's actually Salinas. You go here because you NEED to, because there's nothing else open, and then when this place closes you go to Jaime's. It's the second worst Salinas has to offer, and I'm saying that with optimism.

When I asked about purchasing a local cider they carried I was given directions to the maker, what time they opened, and who I should talk to when I get there. Now that's going above and beyond. There was a nice variety of drinks and they were delicious. I loved the layout of the venue very intimate with the stage but still tons of standing room and if you didn't want to be inside with the crowd there was a tv with the ample outside seating where you could watch the band. The bathrooms were very spacious and super clean. The little taco stand in the back was perfect too. The tacos were delicious. I wish we had a place just like Moe's in Sacramento . I will definitely come to Moe's again next time in town.

He asked for my ID despite not asking any of my other family members, even though it was obvious I had arrived with them. That immediately made me question why I was being treated differently due to his tone and professionalism. Throughout the event, he continued staring me down in a way that felt intimidating and unnecessary. Then, after already announcing that there were 15 minutes left before closing, he approached me again and told me I needed to finish my drink right then. The tone and approach felt aggressive and disrespectful. I understand security has a job to do, but there is a professional and respectful way to interact with people. Instead, I left feeling targeted as a Latina, uncomfortable, and unwelcome at an event that was supposed to be about celebrating community and culture.
